So what you're saying is...every time we see a Buzzfeed article like "Pick a color and we'll tell you the perfect dog for you" there's a burnt out intern panicking and crying in a stairwell hoping to meet some target / deadline. If I remember correctly Buzzfeed was started by Ze Frank, right, and his personal UA-cam channel was always very thoughtful / smart / quirky. So how does he end up making a site like what Buzzfeed currently is? Or is he mostly hands off / you never met him?
'When I left it felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders' I love that feeling. Got it when I quit my miserable job, that moment was glorious.
@uncertain I mean if we want to talk about people doing headlines and people saying controversial stuff for web traffic. 2 words perez hilton. i don't blame black eye peas will i am for punching this guy in face. All perez does is trash famous celebs all time. he is what u are talking about when u say controversial things. As former wcw preisdent and former wwe gm 02-05 eric bischoff book he put out in 2005 called controversy creates cash. Look at all these housewives shows.?
Buzzfeed Unsolved is a ripped off version from the horror community here on UA-cam. They steal a lot from these smaller channels. If you're interested in this genre, I highly recommend the channels ScareTheater and gabulosis. Their videos have a lot to do with unsolved horror.
They're very politically biased and intended to resonate with the most interest groups that prefer to see videos based around their political ideologies.
When you did work for Buzzfeed I enjoyed seeing your videos or ones that you were in. For a while I was wondering where people like you, gaby and allison had gone because I no longer saw any videos or content with y'all. I look forward to seeing videos from your own page now and hope that all works out. It sucks that your time with Buzzfeed had to end but if you feel it's best for you then you gotta do what's best for you. Liked and subscribed (:
Try Guys belong to Buzzfeed. If they leave they can be taken to court if they try to use any similar style in their videos. Kinda like when people were a little worried when FineBros filed for patent control over "React" videos.

Buzzfeed has really gone downhill. I used to like their videos. But like Kenny said, they prefer QUANTITY over quality. Also the 2,884 dislikes are from Buzzfeed, lol.

I worked at a vet hospital for almost 2 years and quit because I couldn't handle the stress of seeing animals die, and then having to move those animals. I am not someone who is okay with death or knows how to handle it, and at the time I was depressed, so that job made everything in my life worse. Although it took me a while, I realized I had the option to leave and better myself, which I did. Now why is quitting your job a bad thing, especially if you're doing it to better yourself which is what he did as well? That question was not directed to you, lol. Anyway I agree with you 100%.
dude i would just like to let you know that you are very, very strong for doing that, stronger than i could ever be honestly. See i'm the type of person who isn't strong enough to leave a relationship if i'm not happy let alone a job with a decent salary. you have my respect and i hope one day i can be so prideful in myself to actually love and like myself as much as you do for yourself to make myself truly happy even if i have to go through obsticals and stress to do it. KingKam ikr, so strong how terrible it was, having to work normal working hours. How terrible it was; to not be able to make videos despite every other big media company doing the same thing; how terrible it was to do your fucking job
i'm so happy that people are leaving buzzfeed and can finally express their own opinions and put their own creative processes into work that's completely THEIR OWN. you are so inspirational! thank you so much!
Also, this is completely unrelated and probably a bit inappropriate, but he's incredibly attractive both in character and looks. I needed to say it, sorry...
Hey, I just subscribed & finished the video. I think you should really make a video with some of the other people who left Buzzfeed. Ask them to collaborate with you on a fun video? That would be nice..because a lot of popular/good people left Buzzfeed too. Just an idea. People might like to see it. I mean, I'd like to see it..

I used to love watching buzzfeed videos, but recently I feel they try to hard to push their liberal agenda.. I definitely agree that they now care more about quantity vs quality unfortunately.
you mean liberal values, which aims to include people from all walks of life. The only agenda I've seen in buzzfeed videos is of respect and acceptance.
+Sean ... And the fact that POC can't be racist, that white people are privileged, that men don't know just how hard it is to be a woman, that being fat can't be helped and dieting is usually a waste of time.
Remember when Buzzfeed posted videos with interesting facts, and saved all the social stuff for Yellow? Now each channel has basically started posting the same stuff with no real genre, just becoming a cash grab.
I think the main problem with Buzzfeed these days is that there seems to be an overwhelming amount of pointless, random videos. Now this is what happens when you take a bunch of talented, enthusiastic people, sit them down, and tell them to "make a viral video each month". Simply the word "viral" is pressuring enough (and way too broad, to say the least), but to put such a strict time limit on each individual is killing creativity at its finest. What Buzzfeed needs right now to redeem itself is to shift their motto from "viral" to "focus". What I mean by this is to have series that each have their own theme or generalization that are unique to themselves. Let's take a look at the current successful series at Buzzfeed: Try Guys, Ladylike, Test Friends, Unsolved, and Debatable. People don't comment the usual "Buzzfeed is running out of ideas" criticisms on these videos because they each have their own direction and charm that draws a targeted audience. As another example, take a look at successful UA-cam channels. Pewdiepie is a gaming channel, nigahiga writes funny skits, and not to mention the many popular beauty gurus out there. They know what they're good at and they milk it, and they demonstrate the consistency that Buzzfeed has yet to find. So Buzzfeed, if you're reading this, sometimes less is more. Sure, making clickbait titles and thumbnails gets you the views, but in the end, if you make quality content over a long period of time, there *will* be people out there who will like your videos, you *will* gain subscribers, and you *will* get your views in the end. Best wishes.
Also, in this video it appeared as if there are a lot of individuals who work on their own videos from start to finish. But I believe the saying "two heads are better than one" works really well in the entertainment or video-making industry. Recent Buzzfeed videos vary *so* much in terms of subject and quality that it ranges from boiling urine to taste tests to climbing buildings using suction cups; it's almost baffling. If everyone pits in to come up with video ideas instead of doing their own thing, I guarantee that better ideas will come. Heck, you might even find a video idea genius who you can use to specialize in coming up with ideas. Good luck Buzzfeed, I'm actually rooting for you despite all the harsh words. You guys have all the resources and people necessary, but one concrete and stubborn way of doing things only works for so long.
Sorry this has nothing to do with you comment but.. Do you like Amber? (from fx) I'm just looking at your profile picture and I'm so happy that there's kpop fans here too
No, actually, it isn't. Maybe someday when you grow the fuck up and decide to leave the self-obsessed solipsistic childish bubble you live in, you'll realize that life is actually about a fuckton more than simply "you doing you".
If you didnt notice, buzzfeed always bashes white straight people and god help you if you're male too, on the other hand they demand acceptance towards everyone else.
The thing I don't get are the white editors who slam White people for being White....despite being White themselves and acting as if we're supposed to look past that? I mean....you're telling us every White person on the planet is X or whatever but in the same light, you're White so we should treat you like shit as you INSTRUCT us to but when we do what you say you cry foul. Can you see why doing that type of pandering doesn't get shit done? XD
Super Cosmic Mutant Honey Candle Squid It's called Virtue Signaling. Essentially, they slam their own race to make themselves feel morally superior. This gives them the sense that they can do or say anything to gain support from minorities, people under the age of 18, or just lower income people overall because the demographic they target are people who spend most of their day online and using social media (aka people who don't really work). So once they've amassed an enormous group of people who like their content, they begin to spread rhetoric about race, social justice, and gender. They unabashedly spew fake news, identity politics, and smear campaigns to further their narrative and indoctrinate entire groups of impressionable young people without encouraging them to do research and strive for TRUTH. They design all of their videos and articles to play on the emotions of the consumer. The feel good tactics they've been trying recently have created a huge backlash and it'll hopefully be their undoing. Fingers crossed!
TRevroN91srfsktnsnw Oh I know what it is since I'm part of the demo they're trying to get laid with. The thing is, the shit they're saying is stuff a lot of people already know, whether they're Black, White, or ect or shit they blow out of proportion which in turn actually does worse for the people they oh-so want to protect. Also there is the fact that as a whole, the videos just suck anyway. Shitty, uninteresting layout with more 'Here's what X told me' rather than anything that is actually informational, something that is funny considering that Buzzfeed holds itself up to be a *NEW* news outlet. They say print media is dead, maybe but digital news is dying it's own death and that can be thanked in part of it not actually being NEWS and being run by people who care more about popularity than information. You can argue that news has always been like that but if that says anything it's that digital journalism/news ISN'T any different than old/print media and has it's own massive crutch which is the intense hunger to virtue signal they'll fuck people over on headlines the SECOND they come out because they are that hungry for those click-bucks. I like discussions but Buzzfeed does not provide that nor do the outlets that emulate the same style over and over again. At the end of the day it's just 'And this is White people's fault' while the whole article had NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT as well as not really telling me anything but misinformation while sneaking in a click-title. God, I hate this shit.
It's sad to see how emotional he is in this and just how much your job and career impacts you. Buzzfeed will definitely see this video and hopefully they make an effort to treat there employees better and make them feel appreciated. Big money driven companies are all the same...
yeah for the simple fact he had to make a video and tell us all that he left, and BTW they didn't fire me because I quit first, tells you that he'd still be there if he wasn't going to get fired.
MIS315 it is something that a lot of people feel when they leave jobs that basically squeeze your brain for all the creativity you have. I know that none of what I just said is able to be studied with proven methods of observation, but I also felt the same way when I left my job as a tooling designer at an aerospace manufacturing firm. I first loved the job; I got to work with CAD programs, and learn the methods of manufacturing. I also had to solve problems that pop up every step of the way, for 10 hours a day. It feels like your head is about to explode. I did notice that the phrase you mentioned is consistent with younger people these days, and I conclude that we are just not used to the work load and pressure.
You should consider making a patreon account in order to be able to keep living in LA and have maybe even money to be able to get special props or camera equipment to make certain videos.
+Kenny Moffitt it seems like you got used by buzzfeed. most of these companies use up young talent and then refuse to compensate them well and then ditch them. IRL you're part of the problem by being a part of the media. You owe us and the Bernie Sanders campaign a big apology. being an "intern" or a "fellow" is just unpaid bullshit while you don't talk about hillary clinton supporting a genocide in yemen.
I'll miss seeing you in buzzfeed videos Kenny. But as long as you're happy with what you're doing then that's all that matters :) I'm only sad about one thing though. You guys never finished the "When A Hookup Is More Than Just Sex" series *tear tear*. And I don't think there was another episode after "When You Tell Your Crush You Like Them" which I'm gonna cry about for the rest of my life... lol anyways love ya Kenny x
+Xochitl Davalos I really wish I would've been able to finish that series! And I may not be in BuzzFeed videos anymore but I'll still be on this channel twice a week!
+Kenny Moffitt I absolutely loved that series. both you and Connor were so good. Any chance you could tell us how it would have ended? waaay over invested in a ficticous romance
Good man, protect your creative freedom. Creativity is one of the things we can do as Humans and actually feel free and project our heart and soul onto. Whether it's our creative piece, or someone else's.
We all have Creative Power and people want to strip us of our power. They try to do this through BS contracts and money. So they can have our power in a sense. I think it's because they don't slow down for five minutes to try and create something.

+Mark Lance still could you dont know if he ever tries to apply for another journal role buzzfeed could ruin him by telling the boss hes a horrible employee
+Kenny Moffitt I support you too! It is SO incredibly BRAVE to quit a job because you are unhappy and venture on your own to create! I subscribed and believe you can do it! ps. you, Michelle, Brittany and some of the other former employees should do videos together (not all together, but so we get the familiar faces we want back). I KNOW it will get a lot of views! Either way- don't get defeated! We all believe in you and you will make a bigger mark in this world than buzzfeed videos..
BuzzFeed just wants money. They already have like 4-6 channels. And with the daily videos they get more money. They don't care about the quality.. I'm not saying I hate BuzzFeed, it's just they need to learn that life isn't just about money.
TheWaverunners I agree with you, that would be nice. Unfortunately being creative doesn't generate revenue (read: buy food), so arts patronage and quotas have led to a tremendous amount of the most famous works of the past 2000 years. More than that though, you're assuming that BuzzFeed videos are artistic creations rather than calculated revenue-generating productions. Anyways, if you're unfamiliar with patronage, there's a wiki.
i figured it out buzzfeed cycles through creative people making it seem like they have a future there and they burn them out and either fire them or forcing them to quit
ugh. Chris, Brittany, gaby, Allison, Taylor, and NOW you??? this is upsetting, but yet again I'm happy you did what your heart was telling you to do as clearly working at buzzfeed was stressing you out a lot
Me. But even then I could give them a few notes to improve. How are you gonna do a week challenge and only show 30secs of each day? Makes no sense to me.
Thanks so much for your honesty, These are the words that I just need to hear, coming from someone that worked in a place that I realized was cool, free, and perfect. I support you! Good luck with your new projects!
Just because you watch a video doesnt mean you like it. And some people might like this one video, but not the rest of his content. I, like many people, dont subscribe to every other person I watch because I dont want my subscription box clogged up with new videos from people I dont want to watch.
BuzzFeed was my dream job, but I wanted to become a UA-camr as well. I still have a lot of time to decide, but that's not my point. What I wanted to say is, that after all these rumours and whatever happened in BuzzFeed I'm a little bit more concerned about getting a job there. I feel like there needs to be a lot of devotion and that there will be much pressure to get work done. I was always afraid of the word "no" and that's why getting fired from a job is one of the worst things that can happen to me. I'm not really sure why I'm writing all of these here, maybe it's because it's thanks to your video that I've learnt about all of these. Anyways, I believe that you made the right choice as well. I will support whatever you do next and I hope you will succeed in it.
You act like it was going to be such a sure thing that you where going to get a job there. They have a very competitive work force. It's highly doubtful you would have even gotten a fellowship.
I like BuzzFeed. I don't rely on them for political or ideological stances, I rely on them for funny videos, or makeup videos, or videos about people who struggle with weight, sex, race, or depression. It's just nice.
There's a difference between talking about your struggles and blaming society about your struggles. It's just crazy how they generalize against normal everyday people for no reason.
For help on weight and depression, really you should go to your family doctor for that. For race and sex there really is no overall problem, only specific problems that you should go to professionals for advice with.
8 to 9 hours of work a day? thats just my daily school time :/ (06.30 - 15.00) with only two breaks a day, 15 min break and 45 min break. After school still need to go to courses, do homeworks, and group projects :/

Doesn't wanna get sued.
+Mihir Kumar So keemstar works at buzz feed?
Only if he got a signing bonus of 100 false pedo allegations.
Mihir Kumar and getting to sue everyone on UA-cam
He kind of did in a sense when he said they valued quantity over quality
This guy says they only care about quantity over quality, whatever gets the views. This explains those "Questions for" series. It's race baiting.
Agreed
"Transgenders do this" and "black Americans do that"... its ridiculous honestly.

Now, let's all agree to never be creative again!
Green makes your teeth go gray!
Try Guys should make their own channel. pretty sure half the viewers are there just for them anyway
i only subbed for them in the beginning, now i mostly only watch them and lady like and test friends
theyd probably make more money too. probably just waiting for their contracts to run out
OMG I KNOW
Try Guys belong to Buzzfeed. If they leave they can be taken to court if they try to use any similar style in their videos. Kinda like when people were a little worried when FineBros filed for patent control over "React" videos.
+Sentinel 👏
their videos are so biased, just watch "questions for white people" or "questions for men" or my favorite; "can you get through one day as a vegan"
but can you get through one day as a whiteman? you know where you actually go out and work
ya cuz only white people have jobs!
This comment section is a trainwreck
How so?

buzzfeed is one of those places that seems really fun and cool, and then in reality it sucks 😂
It's like how felt being a teenager would be fun and cool but in reality it sucks
exactly I loved buzz feed but they keep getting exposed and they still from other UA-camrs
+WINKY BROWN my exact opinion. I like watching their videos and I love the staff, but as a company- buzzfeed seems like shit
If Taylor Swift would be a youtube channel, then yeah
aka disney land XD
The only thing I like about Buzzfeed now are the Try Guys.
Same :/ they ran ladylike to the ground
What about Buzzfeed unsolved?(even though the season ended)
+Melissa wait...what do you mean the season ended?!?! REALLY?!?
+Kawaii Luna it will come back soon! I love the series! Can't wait for more videos
I only like the high guys
Creativity always suffers in a corporate setting, and most of the time it dies altogether.
This is why they have such a 'revolving door' business model. They take in new and ambitious interns and turn them into cogs to spin the corporate machine. Once the cog starts to grind, they pop it out and replace it like the ink cartridge in a fountain pen.

Nicole Irene I'm triggered over being triggered; even the altered song is on tumblr rn
Im triggered because u are being triggered by me being triggered
i'm so happy that people are leaving buzzfeed and can finally express their own opinions and put their own creative processes into work that's completely THEIR OWN. you are so inspirational! thank you so much!
Well said, BuzzFeed videos are a dime a dozen

+JVGames ™ so what
Buzzfeed is visualized clickbait, it makes me so angry.
Also, this is completely unrelated and probably a bit inappropriate, but he's incredibly attractive both in character and looks. I needed to say it, sorry...

That's why I quit following them.

thanks for subscribing!

Thank you so much!
exactly
+tøp! at the disco I love ur profile picture
I used to love watching buzzfeed videos, but recently I feel they try to hard to push their liberal agenda.. I definitely agree that they now care more about quantity vs quality unfortunately.
Whew. I'm glad someone else said it.
same
you mean liberal values, which aims to include people from all walks of life. The only agenda I've seen in buzzfeed videos is of respect and acceptance.
+Sean and trying to make people fat
+Sean ... And the fact that POC can't be racist, that white people are privileged, that men don't know just how hard it is to be a woman, that being fat can't be helped and dieting is usually a waste of time.
Imagine going to work everyday in a place full of hipsters, feminists, and SJWs... I'd quit too.
+Cas Richards Because he doesn't agree with ideas?
+Cas Richards is it because he's not shjw trash?
I don't want to work with a misogynist.
Honestly fuckin' same!

and I don't want to work with a misandrist
Remember when Buzzfeed posted videos with interesting facts, and saved all the social stuff for Yellow? Now each channel has basically started posting the same stuff with no real genre, just becoming a cash grab.
woah. Yeah, Good Times
(from fx) I'm just looking at your profile picture and I'm so happy that there's kpop fans here too
yeah I do :D she's so beautiful both inside and out!
Yaaassssssss xD
I LOVED DEBATABLE why
You know what? Kenny is like the male version of Pheobe from friends.
+Lejla Hasanović omg what an amazing compliment thank you

agree
I'm happy for you! Life is always about you doing you. :)
What if you are a rapist?
+Nameless lol good question 😂
No, actually, it isn't. Maybe someday when you grow the fuck up and decide to leave the self-obsessed solipsistic childish bubble you live in, you'll realize that life is actually about a fuckton more than simply "you doing you".
+10mintwo I found the person that comments "I'm broke!"
Next buzzfeed video: 69 questions white ex buzzfeed employees have for white buzzfeed employees.
why make it about race
If you didnt notice, buzzfeed always bashes white straight people and god help you if you're male too, on the other hand they demand acceptance towards everyone else.
The thing I don't get are the white editors who slam White people for being White....despite being White themselves and acting as if we're supposed to look past that? I mean....you're telling us every White person on the planet is X or whatever but in the same light, you're White so we should treat you like shit as you INSTRUCT us to but when we do what you say you cry foul.
Can you see why doing that type of pandering doesn't get shit done? XD
Super Cosmic Mutant Honey Candle Squid
It's called Virtue Signaling.
TRevroN91srfsktnsnw
Oh I know what it is since I'm part of the demo they're trying to get laid with.
Tbh I just kept watching the sleepy lil dog in the bottom right corner. So fluffy.
Omg XD
Lmao i didnt even see the dog 😂
once I saw the crooked lamp shade I couldn't look away from it
OMG same 😂😂😂
+matt k omg now I cant
It's sad to see how emotional he is in this and just how much your job and career impacts you. Buzzfeed will definitely see this video and hopefully they make an effort to treat there employees better and make them feel appreciated. Big money driven companies are all the same...

Love that
sounds like he saw the writing on the wall and quit before he was fired.
yeah for the simple fact he had to make a video and tell us all that he left, and BTW they didn't fire me because I quit first, tells you that he'd still be there if he wasn't going to get fired.

LOL ikr they are so retarded
goal pop what's wrong with having a little fun once in a while?
Well if that's what they wanna do then so what, who is it hurting? Everyone gets in a slump to where they lose their creative energy.
That's just my opinion on the matter....
+Katrine Carver comparing hands is fun to you?? wonder what your hobbies are...
I subscribed right when I figured out that you that you were from buzzfeed. You were always my favorite person there.
Thanks for subscribing and watching, that's so nice of you to say

lmao
"It felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders"
funny, it's the exact thing ElloSteph said
MIS315 it is something that a lot of people feel when they leave jobs that basically squeeze your brain for all the creativity you have.
Buzzfeed is going downhill they are repeating the same videos constantly and you can tell in the comments that people are getting annoyed and confused
True. They redid the In-n-out menu thing.
Plus they know they make money off the Try Guys so the created the Test Friends and Ladylike
+gay as heck x1000 ryan ross? is that u?

I never knew The Rad Brad worked for buzzfeed.
LUL
XD it's just a orange haired TheRadBrad!
Is he in any videos
Finn Donelan Woosh!
The resemblance is uncanny.
hell yeah dude!! everything you do NEEDS to have genuine excitement to be truly happy with what you do.
You should consider making a patreon account in order to be able to keep living in LA and have maybe even money to be able to get special props or camera equipment to make certain videos.
+Borna Djavdan I did actually!
+I Dislike Googleplus almost all Buzzfeed employees are used and drain from ideas. When you can't make any ideas, you're thrown away.
+I Dislike Googleplus ??????
He has a patreon.
+Kenny Moffitt Me too. And that's what I'm really excited for! You and this channel have a lot of potential, so I'll be here every step of the way :)
+Kenny Moffitt I absolutely loved that series. both you and Connor were so good.
Any chance you could tell us how it would have ended? waaay over invested in a ficticous romance
I miss him too!!
I wondering where he went
I understand why you left your job there. Good luck with your new projects!
+Barbara thank you!

LESLIE I RANDOMLY FOUND YOU HIIIIIIIIIII UWXBUBDBXBEKQCB
I bet buzzfeed is gonna make you take this down
They cant if he quit
+Mark Lance still could you dont know if he ever tries to apply for another journal role buzzfeed could ruin him by telling the boss hes a horrible employee
-Lying about a previous employee's history is very illegal.
Only if they get caught
Darcie Hall - It's very easy to be caught in that act.
I support you
this honestly means so much to hear :)
+Kenny Moffitt yaay
+Kenny Moffitt I support you too! It is SO incredibly BRAVE to quit a job because you are unhappy and venture on your own to create! I subscribed and believe you can do it!
ps. you, Michelle, Brittany and some of the other former employees should do videos together (not all together, but so we get the familiar faces we want back). I KNOW it will get a lot of views! Either way- don't get defeated! We all believe in you and you will make a bigger mark in this world than buzzfeed videos..
Good for you dude. Best of luck.
I subscribed after watching this video, trying to support you 💙
thank you so much!!!
+Kenny Moffitt Hey Kenny, love the Pomeranian hiding in the corner its soo cute!
69 likessss
i keep getting distracted by the lil pomeranian dog in the corner
God damnit now I'm stuck looking at it xD
I know its so cute !!
For how long do the L's go on in your name?
+The King Of AJ well did you read the comment? He sad the lil "Pomeranian" dog, read the comment better
***** wake up aj we miss you
seems shady... buzzfeed is a guilty pleasure of mine because I know the "dark side" of buzzfeed. but hey, I'm only there for buzzfeed unsolved
same
buzzfeed should do a buzzfeed unsolved on themselves "The Hidden Truths of Buzzfeed" 😂😂
+nighttime adventurer trueeeee
they would never do that
To bad they wont be back till October I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong
BuzzFeed just wants money. They already have like 4-6 channels. And with the daily videos they get more money. They don't care about the quality.. I'm not saying I hate BuzzFeed, it's just they need to learn that life isn't just about money.
ITS A DAMN COMPANY THEIR ONLY PURPOSE IS TO MAKE MONEY.
Having a company isn’t about learning life it’s about making money. Why the heck would you even start and grow a company?
I have to say I'm disappointed. I hoped you would expose Buzzfeed for the cancer they are...
If future employers saw this vid, they may not hire him... So I'm sure he PC'd it a bit.
same...
Would you cover his bill after Buzzfeed sued him?
Why are they so bad?
+Yusra l three letters my friend "SJW"
Buzzfeed is not yet ruined. We still have Eugene. Once he's gone, Buzzfeed will suck
Eugene gives me a pompous douche vibe. Idk why lol.
And Ashly
And ned and keith
true
and keith too. i love the try guys
So, while working at BuzzFeed, you had to reach production quotas so you left?
Sounds totally unlike any other company.
Try making a viral video in a small period of time, every week.
Billy Bob lol, I'll try that sometime.
Art shouldn't have to fit a quota.
It's the issue with how it works. Newspapers didn't fire you for writing sub par articles based on something so arbitrary as "views".
1. Work at company that pressures you to make viral videos
2. Quit company
3. Try to start making lower pressure videos
4. Video goes viral
5. Doh!
Shouldn't have worn Green.
*Green is not a creative colour.*
Well done people who get the reference aha
oh my fucking god no
phamily
copy of this older comment
only because of game theory :l
TBH all they good people are leaving buzzfeed 😭
Because it's gone to shit tbh
only stupid feminist and victimistic fucks are staying in buzzfeed
KSeveride they aren't feminists if they are being stupid and hateful....
+KSeveride way to turn a post not even remotely related to feminism into a antifeminist mini-rant. *slow clap* your irrelevance inspires me.
+christy Conklin no it's very relevant your blind
Just subscribed. Good luck in the future!

+
i figured it out buzzfeed cycles through creative people making it seem like they have a future there and they burn them out and either fire them or forcing them to quit
I live buzzfeed but I think they need to reconsider their intentions.
+
That is so true. Just something about their videos aren't really....Buzzfeed -not like it used to be anyways
Yea they are too over-liberalized
ugh. Chris, Brittany, gaby, Allison, Taylor, and NOW you??? this is upsetting, but yet again I'm happy you did what your heart was telling you to do as clearly working at buzzfeed was stressing you out a lot
watch eugene leaves and comments start uprising.
GenjiSleepsowo if he quits all his fans would lose their shit, including me.
Chris!?! omg nooooooooo
BRITTANY GABI ALLISON !!!???????
+GenjiSleepsowo If Eugene leaves, Buzzfeed is gonna lose a loooot of subscribers.
Does anyone only like ladylike and the try guys??😂
Me. But even then I could give them a few notes to improve. How are you gonna do a week challenge and only show 30secs of each day? Makes no sense to me.
Yesss
And the test friends!!
lol me
And Buzzfeed Unsolved
Thanks so much for your honesty, These are the words that I just need to hear, coming from someone that worked in a place that I realized was cool, free, and perfect. I support you! Good luck with your new projects!
You're just too hot for them.
_plot twist eugene owns buzzfeed_
*if you see this, kenny senpai, can you tell brittany i said hi*
:)
What?
+Senpai i cant
+Senpai don't worry about it xD
+Senpai lol
2.5 million people heard his plea, but refused to click "subscribe"
Just because you watch a video doesnt mean you like it. And some people might like this one video, but not the rest of his content. I, like many people, dont subscribe to every other person I watch because I dont want my subscription box clogged up with new videos from people I dont want to watch.
and a LOT of viewers may not have a youtube account
Of course not... If UA-cam worked like that, everyone would have millions of subscribers already...
Just because I watched this video doesn't mean I care whatsoever about blogs. I'm curious to hear what he has to say about buzzfeed and that's all.
FINE I'll sub.
Please make a video about why you joined Buzzfeed. I don't understand.
bulu filim neke
+It's Just a Frog, Bro. Come on kids, let's play spot the homophobe!
xicarzon yeah i agree with you.
xicarzon ohm y jesus yes cum here my bby boi 👏🏼😭😭👅
Because potatoes.
You rock! Being happy in what you do and taking back your creativity is important!
And everybody but feminists hate buzzfeed
Lucas Beeman Do they really?
Strive for yourself don't fly under someone else's wing.
same I've been wanting to work at buzzfeed since 2013 but not anymore
You act like it was going to be such a sure thing that you where going to get a job there. They have a very competitive work force. It's highly doubtful you would have even gotten a fellowship.
I like BuzzFeed. I don't rely on them for political or ideological stances, I rely on them for funny videos, or makeup videos, or videos about people who struggle with weight, sex, race, or depression. It's just nice.
I liked them too awhile back but they're racist and sexist.
There's a difference between talking about your struggles and blaming society about your struggles. It's just crazy how they generalize against normal everyday people for no reason.
...
watch their videos
For help on weight and depression, really you should go to your family doctor for that. For race and sex there really is no overall problem, only specific problems that you should go to professionals for advice with.
Congrats on making a move designed to lead to greater happiness for you.
8 to 9 hours of work a day? thats just my daily school time :/ (06.30 - 15.00) with only two breaks a day, 15 min break and 45 min break. After school still need to go to courses, do homeworks, and group projects :/
