Thanks! It's like white sand beaches as far as you can see here. 🤣

Well, you confirmed it that those heat pumps are only good down to about 0F. No idea where you got the radiant floor idea but I can promise you will like it :) Keep the excellent videos coming!

I used to do a lot of mowing but the last couple of years my plow customers have been keeping me busy working on their houses.👍

I wasn't thinking straight when I started this project. I had forgotten how miserable cold floors are. The reason we installed radiant floor heat in the house and the shop when we built them is because of the previous place we lived had cold floors. The more I work on Stilts l can see using it more than originally thought. Warm floors will make it much more enjoyable in cold weather.👍😁

@@NEILSWORLD best upgrade we made in our shelter and uses very little energy with a hydronic diesel heater...

I WILL own one of these one day, your plow mount is very well designed...are the single axles easier/harder to get? I was thinking of maybe a Big Buddy space heater in the cab...

Both variants of the truck are readily available through resellers.

I wonder if you would do better lowering it down to some kind of parking base so that the airflow doesn’t go all the way around it. (Or at least add some kind of skirting.) either way, at -14, that’s really good! The better insulation will make a huge difference.

The container is insulated all the way around with 2 in of foam between the aluminum. I don't plan on adding more insulation just hydronic radiant floor heat.

Ever thought about a battery heater or oil heater? I like them better for cold weather. Takes less power to spin warm oil and warm batteries produce more power. Just a thought for power saving.

I have a heating pad on the oil pan of my bobcat toolcat. I installed that because I went through two coolant heaters I think the problem with the coolant heater was it was at the very top of the system and may have been in an air pocket. I should have checked the temperature of the oil pan with the laser thermometer. I think the block heater may warm it up just by the reading on the oil pressure gauge when it started. I think I've seen that gauge higher when I don't have the block heater plugged in and it's warmer out. As for battery heaters I've never used one these batteries crank just fine I don't see the need for it.

What do you treat your diesel with? I've been using hotshot secret winter blend for my l5p and I feel like it's doing good keeping the diesel from freezing.

Radiant is nice, but Diesel air heater would be a lot easier and cheaper(and help with humidity)...js

You are correct. I actually have a Chinese diesel air heater that I planned on installing and may still install it as a backup redundant system. I have decided the comfort of warm feet is more important then the difficulty of installation and the price of the components.😊
