Something i learned playing this game and Rising Sun, if its not an objective to complete or needed to destroy a tank, dont use the emplaced machine guns - mounting them spawns enemies even though you've cleared the area already.
The Medal of Honour series is a great set for you to check out. From the games you've not heard of I assume Rene you're significantly younger then me 🤣
I remember this being the first game (and gta) that i got for the PS2. I was so excited to storm the beaches. Lol. Sure by todays standards its not that realistic but back then it almost felt as real as the movie saving private ryan.
Basically the same graphics but being Allied assault was a PC only release it might of been higher then consoles at the time? Only thing I can think of 🤣. Another great game though!
