I am amazed by all the support you guys have given me here in the first few hours of the video being up. I love all of you and hope to bring some amazing content!
From a 67 year old man who always loved farming, I never got the chance to live my dream. You're young enough to make mistakes now and learn from them and make a better life for yourself. As a father of a 25 year old male, I would be very proud of the decisions you have made. Good luck.
Wishing you the best going forward! Nothing worth having is typically comes easily. With risk comes reward, best of luck! Looking forward to following your journey.
New subscriber. My wife and I started farming in 2010, we now grow a diverse crop rotation, sell seed, do some custom work and farm 1,700 acres. Our 27 year old son became a partner in our LLC last winter. Best of luck and believe me the pride of growing your own crops is priceless!
Tractor recomendation for tillage. Caseih 535 its pre def but big cummins and kots of power we have one and it might just be the best quadtrac on the fsrm super reliable and low maintenance. I camt wait to see ur new videos i rember watching the video of that small jd sprsyer stuck thst was the first video of yours i watched !
Congratulations on your decision and this new journey , Carson. By the smile on your face and the excitement in your voice throughout the video, I can say that this decision that makes you happy is the right one. I wish you success in your new adventure, of course there will be difficulties but I wish you success in this difficult journey. Can't wait to see the videos. Greetings from Turkey buddy.
Congratulations on starting thus process. I look forward to seeing more details about what you are doing. I can't wait to see what type of content will be coming and I know I will learn a lot about this as I am starting the same process soon. Coming out of college and going back to my family is my first step and then the next will be starting on my own soon after that. I wish you luck and plenty of perfectly timed rains!
Hi Carson! You're right, I didn't see that coming! But, best of luck and I'll be right there with you to see and pray for your success in your new adventure. I also want to say thanks to your dad for everything he brought to your videos and for being such an excellent role model to you Carson! Also, I wish him the best in the future, it will be a big change for him too. Let's see...... your first piece of equipment is my favorite High Boy! LOL. I have watched Grant and Spencer since they started farming, they are awesome too! (I hope you can get some snowmobile footage this winter.) Most of all, stay safe and healthy Carson, I pray for your success, and I wish you the best!
Good luck on your new adventures, and starting your own farm. You all are great at what you do, I just hate when families can’t work together and put so there ideas and visions together to make the farm work.
Go get it man!!! You’re living my dream in a way!. I always wanted to do my own thing but instead was afraid to take the risk and just settled into what was comfortable and secure. If I could do it again I would have ran straight at the opportunity to start my own!!. I’ll be praying for your success, thanks for taking us along!. God bless our farmers
Congratulations Carson and I hope that everything works out for you and I will be looking forward to seeing how it all turns out I know it's a big step for you but sounds like you've thought it out and talked to everyone and making the right decision. So good luck to you and I hope you bought the mean green if not I understand.
Taking chances is how we advance. You’ve got a great support structure with your family - they’re with you forever. Look forward to seeing you in the next chapter.
Congratulations on the new journey, very excited to watch the new content to come I agree with keeping your family in the picture and not just blocking them out. There will definitely be challenges ahead of you take them head and keep going and you will be successful.
Congratulations! I’m excited to follow your journey as you built your farm. It sounds like you come from a great family if y’all can talk about goals, expectations and support each other as individual’s as well as be in business together. 🚜 ❤🙏💪
I think I have been following you almost from the very start. I have always enjoyed your content and I must admit I did notice a difference over the last few months. What else I have noticed is that you are very intelligent, hard working and dedicated to what you do. Carry that forward and you should have no problem being a success at what ever you pour your heart into. I wish you all the luck in your future and want you to know that even 🇨🇦 supports you. Grant started a farm with little farming experience which puts you a leg up already. I am sure you will do just fine.
Looking forward to your new adventure! I was in your spot in 1978 right out of college took a new job with a successful growing feed company. As time went on I realized my true passion was farming! Best decision I ever made and have not regretted it for one second… ok maybe a couple but don’t let the hard times discourage you use them as learning tools cause there will be hard time! Best of luck and I will be following you adventure 👍
Good for you kid it is tough for a person to start a new farm and make it but you seem to have the drive I think you got this have a great day be safe.
Dude, congratulations and good luck! I’m newer to your channel, maybe just under two years, but I really like your content. You’re a part of what makes this country great. While I know it’ll involve a lot of hard work, I hope you reap the rewards you deserve!
Big news indeed. Lots of heart and soul go into such decisions, and I couldn't be happier for you. Looking forward to future content and wishing you all the best as you tackle the milestones coming your way in 2025.
The most exciting and nerve-racking decision you can make. I wish you the best of luck and i look forward to watching the journey. I just found your channel today actually so enjoy the new sub. Best of luck you'll crush it!
Hello Carson, good luck starting this new step and challenge in your life! Enjoy every moment, you only take the step to farm for yourself once. I will follow the realization of your dream, the best for you and your family! greetings from the Netherlands
We will all be hear to watch your new farm grow into something big in the future can't wait to see what happens next let's go with a bang for 2024 cant wait man over and out
Best of luck. Gotta say it’s a ballsy move but I’m proud of you taking the risk! You’re gonna bust your butt , It’ll be worth it I’m sure ! I’ll keep following for sure
I remember watching your videos as you were at college and working at C&B, and your snowmobiling videos! I'm excited for you and I can't want to see what comes next... Also you know I like a Tom appearance. :)
Carson, congratulations on the decision to explore a new route and start a new chapter in fullfilling your dreams. I wish you the best of luck and Gods' blessings.
I have a good friend who has a 350 acre farm. It was a bad year for beans in Michigan… You can do it, you can build it up. Good luck and I will be watching 🤞
Congratulations on your decision to step out on your own. Not too many people are willing to take on this challenge these days, let alone vlog it on UA-cam. I can't wait to see the content.
Congratulations. Excited to see videos in the future. I kind of suspect that you might have bought some spray drones. Your very into technology it appears I think spray drones would work great for doing your own work as well as doing custom work. Relatively cheap compared to big equipment
Good luck on your next adventure. I’m sure you will do well for yourself. Looking forward to seeing your journey and how it unfolds. Where will you be farming at?
Congratulations on the journey!!! I’ll be riding your shirt tail!! I myself are trying to start up a farm off on my own. Still learning about row cropping myself and looking toward on learning new things. If you hv any advice I would greatly appreciate it myself 😃😃. Good luck brother and I’ll praying to or your success! 🙏👍🏼
Love it press forward…you will do great! Grant and Spence are a good sources for help I like seeing young ones reaching out for new goals and being industrious. I will follow closely…and I know I will enjoy every bit of it A great farm to watch is Ivers farm and Larsen farms Thanks again for sharing
Good Luck Carson! A big step but with a big risk has big reward. Not sure if one the UA-camrs you reach out to was Nathan at Boarderview Farms, but he posts content at a minimum of 5 days a week and shows almost every aspect of his Families farm operations. As someone who grew up on a family that is no longer in the family, I enjoy watching a few different channels. I was very young when my family decided to get out of farming and I look forward to following along as you start your own as it is something that I have considered doing myself.
I will have to check out Nathan's channel. Would like to ask him how he manages to film and produce that much content while still being productive on the farm
@6thGenFarmer his channel is very informative. He does lots of trails of different products. He doesn't get a lot of demos like other channels, but when he does get something, it tends to be pretty interesting and farm related, like the 2025 x9 1100. There's not much he doesn't cover on being a farmer.
hey carson, I can imagine that this was not an easy decision. I wish you all the best for your "new project" and look forward to lots of new great videos... you won't get rid of me so easily 😂😂😂😂👍 big greetings from germany 👋
3 of the 5 guys on my farming team left an existing family operation, went off and secured ground, work with me, and we custom farm their own acres for them with my equipment. They waited too long, and it didn’t end good with their families. We’re talking about guys upper 30’s to in their 50’s, no concrete transition plan, branches of the family who haven’t stepped foot on the farm for 3 generations who still get paid. It can be a real mess. You are smart for wanting a clear, defined future. Still a lot of potential hiccups coming, that’s farming. Doing it when you did is what will keep your relationship with your dad positive.
I am amazed by all the support you guys have given me here in the first few hours of the video being up. I love all of you and hope to bring some amazing content!
@@6thGenFarmer you are going to kick @ss
You are the best person ever I don’t swear on your videos I support you
You have already bought some amazing content to the screen and I’m very confident you will continue to do so!!!
I’m sure this decision was hard! I wish you the best of luck!! I’ll be watching!! -Chet
Thanks Chet!!
