I absolutely love this movie! It’s one of the very few that I can watch over and over, time and time again. All the actors were superb and the storyline warms my heart! Brilliant!
Wow! I just came across this discussion by shear luck. I was looking for Gerald Albright playing "All About You" from the soundtrack. Many related videos came up, including this one. This is one of my all time favorite movies. It always reminds me of a very special relationship, and time in my life. Great to hear some of the back stories. Thanks for providing this. God bless to all.
So hate I missed this. One of my favorite love stories. You will not believe this but, I have this movie downloaded on my phone...ikr. When I need some sentimental movie with Amazing music, this is my go to. Thanks for sharing this. I follow Terron & Renee in other projects. Keep blessing the world with your gifts.
I'm so in love with this movie that I kept looking all this time to see this cast regroup to something else. Hope it can still happen or we get a part 2 sometime in the future
One of my very favorite movies of all times! It's on TUBI now! Thank you Swanson's! I still have my poster! The sweet innocence of love is so precious. The casting was truly on point. Chemistry is everything and everyone who should have been chosen was chosen. That one sweet kiss was so amazing! I think that sealed the deal for the main characters. ☺️
One of my favorite movies! The wedding scence was hilarious. Renee brushing her teeth and dancing to Cherelle and Alexander plus scenes with Debbie and Lisa Raye! Great talent and great writing!!
I looovvveee this movie ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and the whole soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥🔥All About You and Surprise are on a wedding playlist I created for when I get married 👰🏾🤵🏾😍
I got my second child in 2002 and during that time. Or a yr later I bought the DVD And toddler daughter grew up watching the movie with me and recently she told she would like all out you to be her wedding whenever she decides to get married
They actually did make a 2nd part...but it didn't include this same cast...but it was still very good...It's called, All About Us and starred Boris Kojoe as the male lead and the female lead was the real life wife of the black guy in that show This is Us...but sorry I can't remember her name right now...but I still own both versions All About You and All About Us by this husband and wife team, the Swanson's...and I love them both but this one is still my absolutely favorite of the two.
@@inspirationalempressoflove220 I think I know which movie you're referring to. But to me, it's just not the same without the same actual actors in the original one.
Should really have a lot more views than it does. But critics really didn't give the movie a fair shake. There's too much "I want to be SHOCKED!" or "it went how I expected" - like there's no appreciation for just a well-told story. Doesn't mean there weren't things that I wanted to see fleshed out (I think Tim was a dropped ball, intentionally but it came across weird), Robbie (who I will always call Flynn and tell him to take his "lil Sunshine" with him) just kind of gave up which contrasted with his display, and then Brian/Terron never reconciled with his family, we don't know if he decided to stay, we don't know if Nicole/Renee decided to do music, etc. It was obvious they were trying to make efficient use of the time and I think they did that for the most part, it's just there was so much more to tell. A sequel might make sense... but Terron? I...I really miss your hair, brother. It wouldn't be the same.

The perfect movie! Great songs and beautiful people! Thank you all for the follow up soooo many years later.
Was a beautiful movie. I wish we could have more black movies like this one.
I was hoping for a Part II depicting Renee and Terron together as a married couple starting a family.
One of my favorite movies and the song . Absolutely beautiful!!

I can't believe Renee was new to acting back then, we got a chance to see the beginnings of an amazing actress!

I miss his hair too. He looks good, but he is NOT a convincing "baldy"
