- With the upcoming changes to Flail, we will be losing the only real execute we've been using. For those who don't know the execute damage completely is getting dropped but they're also changing the heal portion so that it requires an enemy to activate. The magicka version of this is getting a slight damage increased and will be the obvious choice to use but will unlikely be nearly as effective as the current skill. But where there's a will, there's a way. Let us take a moment of silence.

@@jonbonny yeah man, I don't really understand that part. The spamming it for heal on Stam arcs I GUESS i can see being problematic? But the ONLY execute in the kit though?!

@@Cruxweaver This has already happened to me, I was the victim... The enemy followed me, I stopped, got off my mount and didn't attack me, I came back to leave and continued, in the end I used mistform and stood on top of a rock watching him looking for me 🤣

I'll never understand why they would remove the execute damage off flail. If they wanted the other morph more enticing just up it's damage, or add an execute to that one as well.
@@seabhacgra517 You said it! I'm not usually one to overly critique updates and changes, and I'm not an Arcanist gatekeeper. I'm all about changes and balance, but adding a slight increase in damage to the expensive mag version while removing literally the only execute in the whole class kit makes zero sense to me. I'll work with it, but I REALLY liked it the way it is lol 😭
Yea tbh it sucks but will wait to see how bad it is. Rip 😢 hopefully a scribing skill can replace it idk
Absolutely, I'm excited for the challenge. I joked about them taking the execute out so they can add it later by giving all classes a scribable execute - but I think that's actually a real possibility lol. And I'll probably miss the execute so much by then that I'll scrib that bad boy up 🤣
flail nerf makes no sense smh
@TheBBQ5 I totally agree. Usually the updates include some sort of annotation as to why it was changed, and their explanation completely excludes any reason for removing the execute. So THEY probably don't even know why they did it. They'll make you have to scrib the execute back into it something, at minor expense and major inconvenience
you need about 10k more hp to fit the meta
@AnimeBoopz I usually have two 75k hp wardens spamming heals and shields for me, stacking up all their buffs for extra defense. Two pollar winds or whatever that skill is that's like a 90k shield, I think! But yeah, all my usual group mates were at a hot dog eating contest on these occasions, sadly.
