I’ve been following from your first video and just wanted to say what fun your videos are. Love the fact that you combine paper craft and stitching, and love the interaction between you.
Happy stitching
I always enjoy watching your videos! You two are great! Loved the story about Kathy’s empty stitching roll! Wow your dollar tree graveyard scenes were amazing. Kathy - beautiful work on your model stitching. Molly - I really enjoyed seeing your haul! Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
A fun time with you two girls!!! Enjoyed this video very much, and yes, I would like to see the hem stitching demo with the corners intacked or know where to look it up for future reference. Thank you so much for all the ideas and I will never be caught up before I leave this earth. It is a good thing that my daughter enjoys cross stitch and crafts as much as I, so I know it will all go to a good home, LOL. Hugs from sunny Arizona.
I just love both of you! I have to watch with a pen and paper to take notes…you enablers, you!!!!!
You two are just great! I used to be a Stampin Up! Demonstrator, so I love all of your papercrafts as well. Thanks for sharing everything.
Great info and loved your parade of beautiful whips and finishes. Love you girls.
So much fun! Loved watching you both!
You two are so much fun! I love your enthusiasm! And Molly I love, love that you stitch on Aida! I also choose Aida and sometimes you start to feel like maybe you aren't a real cross stitcher if you don't use linen so thank you, thank you!
I am seeing more people on youtube that stitch on Aida and more fabric dyers offering it in pretty colors. And I know just what you mean about not feeling like a real cross stitcher, but I have to stitch on what I can see and what makes me happy...so bring on the Aida...teeheehee. Thanks so much for watching and the sweet comment.
Go to 1,2,3 stitch and order your beads! They have really good photos of the colors! Good luck Molly! Your stitching is beautiful! I just don’t have words for that tiny sampler Kathy! Gorgeous! Lovely work ladies! Blessings beyond💖💖 love Liz Matthew’s chart( Autumn cloche) from expo!
I live in El Paso too. I heard from Fat Quarter Shop that their were stitchers that live here. I was so delighted when you said you were from El Paso. I love your work.. Happy stitching.
Hello! So great to hear from an El Pasoan. Hope we get to meet some day. Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for sharing all your projects and ideas. I look forward to your next video.
I vote for the Jan Hick lacey piece on your fall fabric. I think that would look gorgeous. I think the lacey motifs will lend themselves nicely to the fabric color choice.
I hope you get started on that soon Molly- I can't wait to see how it looks....."marching orders?" 🤣
Love you ladies! Can't wait for the next video.
lolol.. Thank you, Margo. It's like you know me. Loved the marching orders...teeheehee. Hope to start on it soon, just need to order the pattern. Thanks so much for watching and the wonderful comment.
Would love to learn how to dye some fabric! Thanks for your flosstube videos.
Oh my goodness ladies, I came across your Floss tube and I adore you both so much! I live in Corpus Christi Texas and wished y’all were closer. I just know we would be great friends! Love your channel.
Hi Ladies,
Have been watching your channel for a little while now. It is really enjoyable. Love your background sit up. Very Fallish. Enjoyed learning about the usage of the wool threads. And thanks for sharing the information about how to not have the moths eat your projects. This was not new information for me, I have heard this before. Thanks for sharing all the neat charts. Pretty, pretty scissors set w/the thimble. Happy Belated Birthday!!! Great job on your dollar tree Oh to Fall Displays ladies. Be blessed ....Alberta from Southern, MD 😊😊
Fire Mountain Beads has the entire color catalogue of beads!!!!
Kathy and Molly, another fun video! I had to come back and watch this one since I missed it the first time. Always entertaining and great ideas!
Another great video ladies! You always make your viewer feel like they've pulled up a chair on the other side of the table and shared.
Girls, you for me cracking up 😂 thanks for keeping us all smiling. As always, beautiful stitching ❤
FYI . Anabella's etsy shop on has the printed pumpkin fabric if you are still looking for it . Love all your wips and upcoming projects . Have a great week and happy stitching
Oh thank you! I love when she does videos. I need to take a look at her shop. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing.
Can you give a tutorial on your method of hem stitching? I would love to try but am not sure how. I would love to hem stitch a piece that I have done and then mount in onto a box that my husband has made me. I love watching you gals and I always have a smile on my face after watching you. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤
The halloween pumpkin face is cute!!!
Thank you for the video
Thanks for sharing I always enjoy your videos!
You both are so amazingly talented. I really enjoy your flosstube. I used your floss book tutorial to make a cover for a journal I want to use for 2023. Thank you so much for sharing
Are you talking about Plum Streets The Happy Morning? I just took mine out to work on again. There are two versions. I have the version with Black Swan linen and there is a version on a lighter linen with different floss colors. Love your flosstube.
Such an informative and enjoyable video, thanks again ladies 💕
Rabbit. How fun! I enjoyed the variety if stitches and the extra items to help with ones’ stitching!
Such fun. U make me laugh. Beautiful stuff. Wish I was your neighbor.
👋🤩as always great work, great entertainment!! You two are fun to spend time with and so inspiring!!
You two are over the top entertaining!! Molly cracked me up with all her quips about her stitching personality. Too, too funny. You ladies make my day!
What a great video. Nice you share new flosstubes.🍎🍎🍎
You two about wore me out; I had to watch this one in two sections. Lots of goodies and will have to take a look at that red stand. Can't wait to see what you two are up to next.
There is a fabric store downtown in El Paso and there is also one in Sunland Park Mall. But the 3 fabrics stores in Las Cruses are all wonderful.
Wow. Good to know. I am going g to check them out. Thank you so sew much for the heads up.
Oh happy day!!!! 🥰🥰
I have no lns here in Nevada.W ell there is Stitchers Paradise I'm Las Vegas. I live completely on the other side of Nevada. Great video! I have done alot of samplers. But I like smaller things.
How genius you are!! My Mother died in 2001, and my husband in 2009, and I have cards from them. I want to make them in to needle books. It makes me happy and sad all at the same time. Thank You!!
Thank you so much, Linda. I made my two from the sweet cards I just rec'd and love them. Thank you so much for watching and the sweet comment. hugs, Molly D
Kathy, your cobweb corner fabric does not have much space for framing if you want to keep the corners so maybe make it as a wall hanging with a fabric "frame" - try different colours of fabric. You could also add a fabric border to give you space for regular framing - but you probably already know that. Molly, for your beads for the teal project you are working on - give the shop the thread brand and colour and they can check the beads against that in their shop. And I am a wine sipper too!!😂
Great idea on sourcing the beads. I am going to check at Joanns, Michaels and Hobby Lobby locally too. Thanks for the wonderful suggestion and for watching!
Kathy, as long as you keep your wool clean, moths won't bother it. They like lanolin and perspiration etc. I'm also a spinner and have been since around 1980. I have a lot of wool around the house and haven't ever had moths or any other kind of bug infest My wool. But I keep it clean. Maybe store your wool floss under a cotton sleeve whilst not using it.
I wonder once it is used in a project.. like my sampler..does it need any kind of protection sitting around? I love wool and I do sometimes get little moth holes.. I rash my hands always before any project..any tips greatly appreciated!!! Thank You!!
Love you two. I cross stitched a lifetime ago, then I took up quilting. Did that for 20 years. Five years ago I took up knitting….now I’m back to cross stitch. Hubby brought home Covid so I’ve watched all your videos this week as we’ve quarantined. Shopping has occurred. I would love to see how you organize you floss stash. You have such creative ways to organize it within each project that I can’t imagine you have a flossball like I have. Mine is on floss drops on rings they are in a ball=flossball, so not the worst but could be better. Thanks for being you!
I have a floss tower. Every pretty box houses different types of threads on rings sorted alphabetically. I’m sure Molly will share hers here too!
BTW.. welcome back to the xstitch world!
You two are so refreshing! Love your chemistry! And , of course , love the stitching ! Cheers to you two and many thanks for all you do. Bunny Rabbit trails too! Best Stitches Always 😀❤❤
Please put your comment under #13 to be considered. :) thank You!! Almost published.. keep checking..
Ironic, I was born in El Paso, live in Lafayette, IN now, like El Paso, we don’t have a stitchery store either! Nor a quilting store.
:(
So much fun!!! RABBIT
Try JoAnns they have beautiful beads
It was Kathy, toward the end of the video and I caught the name of the fabric company something like Axana (sp) and then it was mentioned once more, but again, I didn’t catch it. Just a comment, when a fabric company is mentioned, maybe add it to the list of things mentioned in the video. There are so many new fabrics on the market and they are so beautiful. Thank you
Another wonderful video! Creativity, inspiration and laughter!
I’m not into Halloween but I really liked the wood items available at the dollar store for finishing. I can’t wait to see what they have for Christmas. I hope more crafters support the stores craft section so they keep it and add more fun stuff.
Kathy, I’ve been hooked on Coffee Nips for years! Always have to have a stash!
OMGosh you made me laugh out loud!!!! They are the best! And Walgreens stopped carrying them!!!!:(
@@linenandscraps4821 I order mine from Amazon - a case at a time!
I just bought a red magnetic stand lol, sssoo enabling 😆
I love it! I bought another!!!
Where is the country sampler ?
Spring Green, WI
Girls y’all continuously knock it out of the ballpark! Always showing wonderful projects and giving the best tips!
Beads---- you can match the exact color by using AuroBorealis (AB) beads. Use the floss you want to attach the bead and now the bead will match your floss exactly with sparkle. Beads available from Fire Mountain Beads[
Okay, now that's brilliant!!!! I'm going to give that a try. I have some AB beads in my stash! Thank you so much for this great idea. And for joining us again. Hugs, Molly D
Thanks you for sharing all your talents. Jan Hicks has a new, new one called “Palace of the Winds”. I can’t wait until Fat Quarter Shop gets the chart in. So yummy!
Oh, Sharon, I just saw that one. It's gorgeous and definitely on my growing list of new charts I want. Thank you so much for watching and sharing.
Hi Ladies ! What a fun floss tube!you both have such nice WIPs and Kathy, your finish of the sampler is gorgeous. That frame is beautiful with it. Molly, thank you so much for shouting us out! We had such a fun time making our first video and we can’t wait to make more! That traveling journal you both received is awesome. I need to make me one of those. Happy stitching til next time!! 🪡🧵🪡🌞🌼🌸🌼🐝💕💕💕
I just watched yours too! I too made Teddy’s back in the day… I love your variety as well! Very enabling for sure! Thank You to you both!!!
You ladies are so much fun to watch and are so talented. You inspire so many with your ideas and stitching, talents galore. Kathy, I'm stitching the Buckle bury sampler, it beautiful and has so many color changes.
I ordered a red magnetic stand!! Yikes!
Beautiful projects! It keeps me motivated to watch you two!❤️
I just love watching you. I laugh along with you. I listen out on our porch and usually am rug hooking as I do that too. I just want to do all the things! Thanks and see you soon!
I love your Halloween 👻 Paper scenes! You're so talented girls!! MOLLY your stitching is so good!! Kathy... your stitching is absolutely beautiful!! Debi and I love watching you both. We have a flosstube and we were filming and stitching while watching you. 😂❤️ Happy Stitching!!!

Thank You soooo much for watching us! Very kind words!!!
Don’t worrry about how long your videos are, we LOVE them and want them long😊 I love hearing all the ideas you two come up with and the variety of things. Love that you add the paper aspect also, such creative ideas!!
That’s sooo good to know!
That Bucklebury sampler is an irrisistable stitch!
You two have such a good time together! So fun to watch you. Your paper crafts are so intriguing, I have to keep watching to figure out if I could take it up. I love that little Spanish sampler and I’m very tempted to add it to my September sampler stitching line up - three samplers already! Can’t wait for your next video - and to see what you get from Country Sampler!
I’m going to post my progress on IG.. do you follow me?
Of course! I’ll look for your progress!
Make sure to check out your shout out from Mrs. Flossy! Her channel name is Mrs. Flossy. It's right at the beginning of the video!
Love hearing this!!!! Thank You!!
What a fun video! Wonderful projects!
Love you both. So much fun and laughter! Love to see how you use the planner for cross stitch. I tend to start a planner and then 3 months later don’t use it. I would love to have a better way of tracking my cross stitch and quilting.
Molly lived your WHIps good color change choices .
Please ask Kathy to list info where we can get the Wool Sampler by
Inguna Kristiana. All I heard her say was Inguna .....
Would appreciate this, I stitch a lot of Samplers with Danish flower thread & Wool.
Love your paper crafting.
Ohio
The only thing I could suggest would be to reach out to her directly on FB. I’ll get the correct spelling and place in show notes. Thank You!
@@linenandscraps4821 thanks Molly.... Love your genuine spirit....
The I go is in #13 show notes…:)
Great video ladies lots to show and tell, your stitching is gorgeous Thankyou for sharing have a good week 👍🇳🇿🪡
Enjoy you two. Molly, The extra beads in the Mill Hill kit can be used to make your hanger. Kathy, I am also a Lydia.
Wow not many Lydia’s. Very popular on my moms side. Mom tells me they called her little liddie.
It's so great to see you both and hear all your news and see your beautiful projects. I love the idea of beads being stitched onto the top cobwebs that's a beautiful piece of material. The tombstones you both did are awseome, you had a lot of fun doing that.So look forward to your next flosstube.
Love your videos-would you please list the Company that you mention fabric from in your description list. I’m always interested in trying new fabric designers. Thank you
Not sure which one we missed. You might have to go back to find the fabric you are referring to… the episodes are so full that it’s hard to remember…
❤❤❤
Great show. I am headed to the Sampler on the 18th. Can’t wait. My all time favourite shop. Might have to hit the Sew and Save as well.
I try doing planners but they are never at my fingertips and then I forget what are on my wishlist
I know that feeling...lol. I usually can keep up about 4 - 6 months...then life happens...teeheehee. Thanks for watching, Tammy.
I just stitched that cat in the box and the metallic etoil thread does make a difference. Doesn’t show well in a photo but in person it does. I had started at the top then noticed the same as you that it was supposed to be the etoil thread. I frogged mine but no one would have known had I not. Enjoy your videos ladies! Gotta love mollys face when Kathy talked about bending the wool thread over the needle so it’s easier to insert!!!
Dana, thanks for the info. I am going to take a look and see if I can get the etoile at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Thinking I could just add a row around the edge of it and certainly do the inside black pieces in it, like the moon and bat parts. Hope to give it a try. Thanks so much for watching!
@@linenandscraps4821 there are more etoile colors so pick those up too. I frogged that entire hat!! 😳
Once again, ladies, you made my day! So many good laughs and lovely projects! Molly, you mentioned linen by Oxsana ? Can you tell me where you sourced that? Thanks so much! Every flosstube is a treat! Hugs, Candace
Hello. I got the fabric from a Facebook group called Stash Unloading-Cross Stitch Only. Oksana sells her fabric there and I believe on Ebay. Her name is Oksana Lopatina. Thanks for watching!
People are so talented, your gifts were beautiful
I always enjoy the chuckles and inspiration I get from your videos! Happy stitching.
Where can I get that scissors kit Kathy bought with her Birthday Money, please?
Karen did you find the set?
@@linenandscraps4821 No, do you know where I can purchase it?
Loved your videos! I enjoy stitching while listening!
Kathy, can you please tell me what the Hobby Lobby spacing tape is called? Thanks!
Gosh I didn’t get a name as the young man was so kind he applied it. It’s clear square in shape less than 3/16 if an inch..square. Sticky on one side like a tape. It was great!!!
Must ask your opinion…is a Q snap or hoop the best for stitching?
I Love my hoop. But truly a very personal choice. I’m pretty happy with my stitches using a hooo:)
@@linenandscraps4821 thank you!
Molly, what type of paper do you use when printing purchased artwork and what printer and ink? Love you both. Thanks!
I use a very heavy 130lb cardstock from Amazon. I have a Canon TX9521printer and it takes it. A lot of printers won't pull that heavy paper thru. It's great for printing my floss drops on too. Thanks for watching!
@@linenandscraps4821 Omg. Thank you so much. Not sure you would respond because I should have emailed you that question. Felt a little silly after I sent it. You are awesome! 😘
Fun! Thank you ladies! Once again I just love all your stitching wips! Happy stitching!
Great to see all of your stitching!
I've really enjoyed our visit. You both are very inspiring ❤️ thanks for sharing!
Love you two but I have to agree with Molly…no sucking candy sounds! ;o)
My bad…
lololol
Kathy and Molly…you two are so much fun to watch…with the watching comes the word “enablers”….Expo had some wonderful patterns this year…thank you for the podcast…be safe, best wishes, and happy stitching ❣️
Always look forward to your videos. Such fun!
Say just a thought, does Kathy know of an online resource or book I can learn more about cross stitching with wool on linen? Having difficulty via my Google searches. If not, thank you anyway. Take care.
I do not… but many antique samplers were stitched in wool and have survived well. I think the best one can do is try it, see if you like it. I love it… the look is so unique!!!
Took lots of notes...inspiring projects. Like you, nothing close to me for needlework supplies, Been using on-line shopping from great shop owners .Enjoyed watching you both this morning....take care
Such a joy to watch. Love your friendship & enthusiasm ❤️❤️
So glad to see you ladies again. Love your videos and all the info you give us! Take care!
Always love your energy and your stitching! Thanks for the video, the inspiration, and the laughs! 💕
I love your On Christmas Day piece. Which issue is that pattern in?
The last four or five months of 2010. The Gift of Stitching Magazine. Bought their whole collection digitally for under $30. They are running a sale right now...not sure for how long, but boy they are loaded with gorgeous patterns.
Question for Kathy: Does the wool have a tendency to dry out your hands? It does dry out my hands when I knit with wool. Also, the lanolin in wool breaks my hands out sometimes.
I did not experience and additional dryness.. but I butter up a couple times a day here anyway being in the middle of the desert….I’m guessing you’ve tried just about everything…. That’s a tough one…
Molly, tell me did you ever live in New York State. You remind me so much of a woman I met at the Homespun Heart. Love you two so much. Keep up the get work.
I did visit New York, many times, years ago for business. But never lived there. It's a beautiful state. Thank you so much for watching.
Another great video! Had to stop the video and buy the magnetic chart holder, you enablers!
🐴🐴🐴
Another great flosstube, loved it!
Love your videos. Great stitching you are working on. You are a fun team
