Labradorite crystals offer a variety of healing properties in the physical, mental and spiritual sense. What is Labradorite ?
Labradorite crystal is a feldspar mineral that can be found worldwide but is distributed mostly out of Madagascar. Over the centuries since it was first discovered in 1700, this powerful healing stone has been considered a purification and protection crystal. In Inuit lore, Labradorite is associated with the Aurora Borealis, which is what the natives believed gave this stone its luminescence. It is often called ‘rainbow moonstone’ for its vibrant changing colors and is most commonly known as a transformation stone. Labradorite stimulates the creativity of the mind while supporting psychic abilities. This truth-revealing gem balances and purifies the aura as well as strengthening the will. Labradorite is a calming stone that relieves stress and anxiety and offers mental clarity to the wearer, making it the ultimate stone of creativity and creation. And what is the actual reason why labradorite , or any other crystal, has all these supposed qualities? What’s the logic and science behind it? While I adore precious stones, it still escapes my WHY people believe or claim they have metaphysical properties. Every video I watched just seems to be repeating what is in the Crystal Bible or any online website dedicated to crystals but I have found NONE so far that explain why these properties are associated with particular crystals. It all seems to me like old wives tales and superstitions.
