Sir Ours is load bearing in ground floor. In ground floor we put full lintel. Now building first floor, the contractor said cut lintel is enough.? Is that ok?
In our house thick through lintel has been casted and roof beem not there, after lintel then bricks then direct slab. In first floor also same rules followed. Area 1000 sq ft. Any problems to the structure ?

Always through lintel is extra safety to avoid cracks

If its load bearing then no issues, if its framed structure with concrete column then its a mistake
