Known for his thoughtful, introspective approach to choreography, Christian Rizzo breaks away from his established canon with d'après une histoire vraie, stripping back his usually detailed set in favour of an explosive, expressive choreography for eight male dancers.
Initially concentrating on minimal, ritualistic movements, his cast of dancers are propelled by two drummers, whose rapid-fire percussion lead the audience towards a neo-traditional rock rave.
