i love that conan makes his team a part of the show. jordan, sona, kramer, bley, bruce, all the writers, even his interns. very smart and very entertaining!
KennM12 Those are always the best parts, especially the remotes.
KennM12 Yup. There's a far bigger reason why the NBC Tonight Show scandal was such a large issue, because the majority of the people who worked with Conan during the Late show also made the move with him to LA when he hosted the Tonight Show. And they all lost their job when after his final episode. But a lot of them returned with him when he started at TBS. This is why I never believed it when Jay Leno attempted to put Conan in a slightly bad light on 60 Minutes, because if he wasn't such a great guy these people would not follow him from coast to coast and network to network.
He does! I was part of a skit once. The camera guys approached a few interns and I and said to look into the camera and say to Conan, "Hi a**hole!" It was AWESOME 👍😊😄

The lipstick stalker is named Jessie, she was a staff writer and does a podcast with another staffer called “Inside Conan”. They’ve interviewed a lot of people involved with the show, very worth checking out.

It's not at all, Some of them are actors and sometimes all of them are actors.
Plus before the show starts they are sometimes briefed about these things, Obviously who doesn't like being on TV.

That audience bit was so funny and I love how Coco shows the appreciation is beyond brilliant! And to top it off, they probably got a bill in the mail afterwards and charged them double to be on your show that day. Haha!
I've always wondered how they do the stalker and celebrity lookalike part. Do they have pictures of the audience beforehand to be able to decide this beforehand?
Yeah they set it all up in rehearsal. Conan comes out to greet the audience before the show and they run through a quick version of what they're gonna do, during that time they can observe, get pics set up, plant any fake audience members (classic Conan gag lol), etc. Fun TV trivia - sometimes they cut to a pre-recorded clip that fools people into thinking it's happening live.
I've been to a few different talk shows here in NYC. Between the time you first arrive at the studio and the time they start the show, at least one hour has elapsed.
2:00 definitely didn't know who he was talking about until he showed the picture lol.
