All of these bosses are amazing. Creative, difficult, and to think people are calling them "bad" because they're actually hard lol. And those are the same people who complained bosses in Sonic were too easy.
They're not bad because they're hard, they're bad because after each hit you have to wait for ages to attack again. In the classic games you can attack whenever you want at the risk of being hit.

You don't have to wait ages to attack them again, you wait less than 3 seconds. Yeah and people complained about the classic game bosses being too easy, why? They were more like slightly tougher enemies than bosses. The fact that the bosses in Superstars can no longer be cheesed so easily is actually an improvement. And they're not that long, with a few exceptions. They only feel long because they now take around a minute to defeat, as opposed to ten seconds like before.
1:33:50 man frick this fight. It’s bad enough that almost all of fang’s attacks are instant death and if you die, you have to start the boss all over again. And that’s not the only thing you have to deal with you have to deal with all of his attack. He has not, one, not two, not three, not four, but five different things you can be taking damage from which are not instant death. The missles, the clone attack both of which are in phase 1, the circular bomb things, the enemies he summons, and fangs arms the other three of which are in phase 2. There are 3 ways you can damage fang’s mech. When he does the bomb attack, you’re gonna want to hit a green bomb before all of them explodes, when he summons enemies, you’re gonna want to hit an enemy before it hits the ground otherwise it will not fly into fang and damage it, and when he makes his mech’s nose glow yellow, you’re gonna wanna stop moving and when he bangs his head on the floor, you’re gonna want to hit him before he gets back in the background otherwise you’re gonna be able to damage him. And don’t even get me STARTED on this jerk. Every single one of his attacks sucks. When he does the electric web thing, you’re gonna wanna avoid these and if you get hit by one, you’re gonna wanna mash both jump buttons to get out otherwise the instant death thing that he shoots out will actually hit you. For the enemy summon attack sorry if you didn’t hit an enemy before it touches the ground, now you gotta deal even MORE of these buttholes; you better hope to have enough room to spin dash otherwise you’re gonna get hit REALLY easily, because if you do, you’re gonna want to get the rings back in order to be able to be taking damage, and Ho boy. And finally if you touch a pink laser, it will kill you which is in phase 1, and a bonus thing I don’t know if this is a glitch or a bug or anything but it happened a couple times. I ran into the pink laser after taking damage and nothing happened I was thinking that touching something would kill me when nothing was damaging me, but after a while it did actually kill me. All this to say, this is the worst sonic final boss I’ve ever done in a sonic game and I hate it. Not only should it burn in heck, but also I tip both middle fingers to sega.
This is one of the longest comments I've ever seen. But I agree big time. The 2 phases should've been separate fights or at least had a checkpoint so you wouldn't have to go through through the 1st all over again if you die.
This is the main reason i really hate the bosses in this game, they are so hard to the point where their just straight up unfair. I guess we can blame the fans who complained about sonic being too easy, their probs the reason final horizon was so hard too lol.
