As someone who experienced the mirror thing-it can be absolutely terrifying so please do check ladies and guys because there could be somebody watching you on the other side. Also, when you’re in the restroom, if you feel like you were being watched and there’s a vent or mirror nearby or something that looks kind of sketchy like somebody could hide something there, do not do anything and get out of there. Whenever I go on vacation with my parents, in the hotel room we always check EVERYTHING. We check the beds, and uses the light trick ( to see if there’s a camera). And we check the mirrors if there double sided or not. And of course we check for bed bugs. These hacks are really useful!! ❤️💕

Another way to stay safe is if you're alone in your house and hear knocking, always check first. If you have a window, duck under something and check. (Kids) If you know the person, ask a parent if you can before opening the door. If they say yes, open it. (Adults) If you know the person, open it for them. If you don't, have your blinds closed and have an audio video of your family laughing. Then you tell a joke and play the audio. The person knocking should hear the laughing and assume that the family is in the house and leave. But secretly check for safety.

Hey just a quick tip! Airbnb’s have to disclose if they have cameras. Basically they are banned but they are allowed to have them on the exterior of the house and sometimes in certain living spaces like the living room, although they HAVE to tell you on their website or in person. :) I would still like to see the hacks though lol.

My cat was raised as an in door cat but she rlly wanted to go outside, we let her outside (I didn't want to) and she slept in the backyard. She was fed and given water everyday, sometimes she would go on her own adventures and come back fine. I've figured she just came back since that's the place she would get attention/food and water. She's staying inside for now until she wants back out
That door jam alarm works well if you live with someone with memory issues. My grandmother had alzheimer's she would sometimes get confused and go outside on the porch. We got one so we could hear if she was trying to head outside.
