Paul George a true Thunder till the very end, even getting himself injured currently in the 76ers so the Thunder get high chance on the draft picks again
As a celtic’s fan what worries me about okc is not just their talent but their youth. A lot of our other biggest competitors don’t bring this same level of intensity okc is capable of. I still dont see them beating us in a series but i think they will be able to test us on both ends of the court without really letting up. I look forward to facing them
It's insane how much the OKC D' has improved. If Defensive EPM Rtng was an award the 23-24 Winner was Isaiah Hartenstein w/ Alex Caruso being the runner up. Put together the elite rim protector w/ the elite perimeter player & together their effect is off the charts. Putting that duo on the best defensive playmaking team in the league & now you have the makings of a Defense comparable to 04' Pistons, 90' Pistons, 96' Bulls, 86' Celtics & 83' Sixers.
I’m a Thunder fan and I think it’s too early to be talking about a championship. Only reason OKC lost to Dallas was they went ice cold shooting. Didn’t even shoot league average and were one of the best shooting teams in the league all season
Clown. Clippers, Thunder, and Wolves all shot below their season average against the Mavs. Maybe credit the Mavs defense. JDub also didn't show up in the playoffs, and Luka was playing on one leg too.
Awesome video but one correction. On the playoff experience chart the Mavs core previous best was the 21' Conf Finals; not NBA Finals. But overall this is one of the best OKC hype vids I've seen. Editing is superb. Capturing the essence of these young guys w/ JDub/JWill reaction to Shai .
Obviously it’s way to early to say, but aside from OKC which looks like the best bet to come out of the west, I genuinely think the Suns, Warriors, and Lakers are their biggest threats. We’re getting one last run of the big 3 baby!
I honestly think that even though they are great and have a future to be a dynasty. I feel that it is not yet their time to be champions, more veteran teams in the playoffs will overcome them, just like it happened last year.
I think they'll be fine they were one shai mistake from a game 7, chest already improved so much since then. We'll see tho. If they do win as the youngest team in the league then GGs for a while
Well caruso needs to start hitting his 3s we traded giddy for him cause his 3 and d so far alex only brought his d we could of traded giddy for a bridges or murray
Could some one explain to me where all this confidence is coming from in a team that beat last year in pretty much easy fashion last year in the playoffs, I just don’t see it.
Yeah that's what it is confidence not being cocky, lmao your Mavs beat a team young team with no playoffs experience other than shai dort and Gordon Hayward. but you wanna hate😂😅
@ i actually rooted against the mavs every series. That’s one of the teams I root against so I actually was rooting for the thunder that series but that’s why I payed attention so closely and I just don’t see where the favorites type of status is coming from, they’re still young right now. But I’m not saying I want them to win the championship or nothing but I would enjoy them beating the mavs
Dallas and OKC scored the exact same amount of points in that series. They were one foul away from forcing a Game 7 in OKC. like dude said, watch more games.
#1 seed in the West last year. Lost to Dallas while scoring the same amount of points as them, when PJ Washington turned into prime Klay, and OKC (the best shooting team in the NBA last year) went cold. More so, OKC had 2 major weaknesses. 1. Josh Giddey was a net negative and wasn’t being guarded. 2. Lack of rebounding and toughness down low. We swapped Giddey with the perfect fit in Caruso, and added iHart who is a top 5 offensive rebounder, top 5 rim protector, and can playmake and do a lot of small things. Hope that answers your question as to why OKC is going to continue to dominate.
@@jameshillarybalonda1222 Giddy is a significantly better offensive player than Caruso. Just look at the stats or watch them play. Caruso is a far better defender. Giddy's offensive just didn't fit what OKC wants to do, and Giddy didn't want to be a second team player. The trade was good for both teams.
@@jameshillarybalonda1222 How do you arrive at that strange conclusion? Giddy is a poor 3 point shooter, but compared to Caruso, he a better scorer, passer (think assists) and rebounder. Just look at the stats or watch them play. Caruso is a much better defender, but he is very weak offensively.
Thunder's roster are better than last year. They won over Denver easily, which was their toughest opponent to date. They haven't face the Lakers, the Suns, the Celtics, the Knicks, the Mavericks and the Grizzlies which I believed are stronger than Denver and Minnesota.
I don’t know where you got the information about the mj and Shia comparison but Steph and ai averaged 30 points and 2 steals in a season and pretty sure it was more
@ what the hell are you talking about he said Shai has been the only player to get 30 points and 2 steals since mj and I’m saying that ain’t true cause ai and Steph did it in a season and I’m pretty sure it’s more to
The over the top reaction because of "my whole life is consistent". 😂 Jesus Christ. 🤦♂️ Sometimes, over the top reactions are annoying, but in this case it was kind of funny. Ok, let's go: I like this OKC very much. But 1st: they are very young. This means they will likely lack the stamina/mental strength needed to win a chip. Look at the current Boston and how long it took them to win a singld chip. And in the highly competitive NBA of today, they have a slim chance to repeat that. Look, OKC hasn't arrived. They're coming. That means, they will be serious contenders in a near future. I'm not saying it's impossible to win a chip now, but betting makets are modetn day casino. DON'T TRUST THEM. They are trash among trash. And btw, I see a lot of stupid people losing a ton of money on the betting market. Like casinos, they are designed for you to lose money. Owners of the betting business are becoming filthy rich because of these fools! In my country, there are people starving because they opt to put money on the betting market instead of buying food. OKC went 57-25 last year, finished 1st in the west and MASSIVELY exceeded all expectations but they traded away a big part of the success of that team with Giddey for Alex Caruso which clearly is a massive downgrade in overall talent from one player to another.
