Emma, you are such a responsible and helpful girl! I was wondering about dog sitting/cleaning but it takes adult supervision and I didn't know if you have time. So many things can go wrong, like a dog escaping or a dog with bad manners. Just a thought, have the owners leave a note/text of the name of their established Veterinarian name and phone number just in case they get sick when the owner is gone. I think Emma would love dog sitting. The only caution (I'm a safety girl) is large aggressive/protective breeds that don't know her well. I recently saw a dog sitter get attacked in the house of the dogs she was sitting. She entered their house and one got protective and attacked. She was severely mauled☹️
I think that's a great idea walking dogs for your neighbors and helping take care of other people's dogs before you get your own. Plus make a few dollars doing it. Good luck Emma. Your growing up so fast. 🥰

Please consider adding a dog to your family. No need to wait for a time that is coming far too long in the future. I was Emma in the past and I will always appreciate my parents finally giving in when I was in fourth grade. That dog was there for me through thick and thin until I went to college. I promise you won't regret it.
Dogs are a lot of work but I feel like kiddos deserve to grow up with a doggo! There are soooo many great dogs at local shelters right now.

@@JulieDeru you're welcome you guy's get me true my life as I lost my dad🌹🌹🌹 one year ago to cancer he was only 54years old he passed away a week before his birthday 💐💐💐 I suffer from mentil health and depression sence I was 16 year's old 🌺🌺🌺and it got very bad when my dad passed away 💜💜💜I was stuck in bed didn't want to get out or talk to anyone 🏵️🏵️🏵️ anytime you go on the RV trips and I see all the kid's playing laughing and having fun 🌟🌟🌟 and sitting around the fire roston marshmallows 🔥 🔥 🔥. I think this a wonderful having a debit card at her age. Makes it so much easier! I put all my birthday and lawn mowing money in my books🤣 After I moved out I called my mom and asked her to shake all my books! She sent me $720. Safer to have my money in the bank, haha!!

My thoughts exactly! I actually started at 11 and I thought that was pretty young. Everybody is different, I remember it being a hard time for me.. I absolutely HATED it! Especially when school was in! But every young lady gets through it, that’s the positive thing!!

Robin, I was thinking the same thing except her body doesn't look like it. It is a strong possibility though and it starts out feeling weird like that. I was a school secretary and I had this one girl that kept coming in for tummy ache for two years (3rd & 4th grade). I could tell she wasn't faking it and her Mom and I knew she just didn't feel good at times. Eventually she started her period and her Mom told me. We kept thinking it was her menstruation coming, but the poor girl's body just had a tough time starting it❤️
@@kimcwhite6509 I was 12, my birthday actually, and was about the same size as her. That’s why I thought of it. My daughter was 14 and had friends who were 9.
What about Gabb phone that is for kids to text and call certain people. It might be good if she want to call you for emerency at school etc.. It nice giving her card I did not get on until later. At her age she understand the responsible of money of spending and saving.
Emma has a gabb watch that can call us. We have really liked that as well. I have a highlight all about it in my Instagram if anyone is interested.

Sorry I’m a little confused by your comment. Emma did try and use cash and they wouldn’t except it. I expected that because that’s how people have payed for things for years.
Cash went out of fashion with the advent of the pandemic where stores did not want money when a card can be swiped by the owner without anyone else touching it. A dog is a lot of work! It's a family member and has to have nourishment, exercise, medical care, fresh water, eliminations clean-up, grooming, discipline/boundaries. So you deposit the monies?

Yes, I deposit the money into her card. The app makes it so easy to transfer.
They charge $4.00/ child per month. That’s very expensive. I’ll use my bank who doesn’t have fees like that.
What I love about the app that I cannot do through my bank is being able to set up so many limits, parental controls and have access to all the learning modules.
@@JulieDeru yes! The fee is cheap compared to having a card connected to their own bank account! I like the parental controls. I had a granddaughter (older) get into her account through her card and spend too much! (Sssh, it's a secret)

@@AnxiouslyLiving Ruby is out of her mind and needs deep psychological help. It’s insane how scary her thoughts have become with regards to parenting her children. I pray for her children and the deep trauma this has undoubtedly caused them. I know Bonnie and other members of her family have tried their hardest to protect their nieces and nephews from Ruby and her cult-like ideologies. I wish people pressed on matters more when she sent Chad to a camp for months and took away his bed for just being a regular teen boy, maybe she would have realised how detrimental her actions have become to her children’s mental health. However, I believe it’s too late to stop her now as she’s so far down this hateful bigot hole that there’s unfortunately no way out. She doesn’t even believe in mental health.

As a mom with adult children, this is just a suggestion. Do not pay to do chores. Do you get paid to wash dishes etc. no you do it because you are part of the family. Did my kids earn money yes. By doing MY chores, by helping me do MY tasks. Be mindful to teach them to be charitable as well.

I agree with you. In my house my kids would do chores for free just because they’re part of our family. They didn’t get allowance either. They would only get paid for doing extra work like mowing the lawn, helping chop wood, etc. They also would get money sometimes for their bday, Xmas etc
By the time Emma gets a dog she will be leaving for college. This makes no sense and makes me sad.
It makes no sense to buy a dog when I have a baby to take care of, Landon is in school and we will be moving again in the next few years. The day will come and I’m not depriving her. One day, just not now. 💕
