I played this as lead trumpet senior in high school and barely cruised through. Couldn't hit that double c but man it was fun. Too bad my Bach strad 37 was a school instrument I loved that thing
That’s a great run on perhaps my favorite Phat Band chart and I love seeing a Lotus loaded (Loted?) trumpet section. I’m curious about the brace on the bell stem on Nicolas’s and the 2nd trumpet’s horns. Was that a custom request and what does it do to the acoustics of the horn?
What's the little extra brace a couple of the trumpeters have in the bell crook? Is this a Lotus add-on? Or some kind of special accessory? Not seeing it on any models on the Lotus site but multiple guys in this section have it.
@@tyerker I don't know anything more because that reply is just based off of an identical question asked on this same video posted on Instagram that Lotus themselves replied to. It appears that they are simply experimenting with brace placement to change the way the horn responds or something. Once again, it has nothing to do with Lotus themselves.
I’m a trumpet player and maybe too critical but is it the players or the equipment/mouthpieces ?? Because to my ears the trumpet attacks to the notes sound sloppy 😅 I mean I’m sure they are monster players but must be the embouchure the attacks aren’t clean.
What a monster big band amazing!!!
Agreed!

Like that first car. Fond memories😊
@lotustrumpets6739 exactly. Got another bach strad 37 and it's not the same. Wish I had the budget for a lotus and the time to play still
Excellents musiciens, magnifique prestation !
Merci à tous.
Merci ❤
Perfect!
😊

I am curious as well 🐬
That’s a 3rd party product that the fellas were trying out. We know nothing about it.

My question exactly…

It’s a thing that just this section was testing on their own. It has nothing to do Lotus
@@cameron-w Do you know what it is, though? Or who does design it?

Whos killing it on lead?

Pretty sure it’s just the style. They’re all pretty clean
