the issue with the RNG is that is seems give the same handful of guns repeatedly more so than any other game . At least that was my experience when grinding CAMOS or just trying to get score streaks out the box for the challenge@@mcgritty8842

I 10000% feel your pain... I played directed mode for 4hours saving coins, then went again 4 hours saving coins... had just shy of 1mil coins... spun the box until I had 10k coins left... still didn't have it completed then game crashed... I havent wanted to play again since!
The reason I respect Lego is because he’ll actually do the work to grind out challenges. Like nebula in one game/dark ops. There is a ton of exploits and things that would make those challenges 10 million times easier but he must be a masochist or something cuz bro spent 2 hours just getting to 100’then another 4+ probably to get all the items from the box. I respect the grind
Cleaver is not in the box and the normal knife has always been in the box. Wait till you get roughly 200k before building the jet gun in directed mode. I stayed on round 12. Fresh game no save and quit. When you build jet gun trade it out with wall weapon immediately and wait till it despawns. Then start hitting the box. You’ll need to trade out your load out weapon as well from the box. After I spend roughly 50k I end the round and kill zombies while hitting the box then save 1 till I spend roughly 50k again. Keep doing this so you keep money while hitting. Do not save and quit till you get the calling card. I did this while camo grinding so I’m running 3 hours anyways before I save and quit for the first time
What if the box has a certain loot pool per round? As soon as the round switched from 100-101 you instantly got theee new weapons, what if the chances randomize each round and that’s why the box gives us the same weapons cause we always hit it one round at the end everytime
You UA-camrs are ridiculously patient and have so much stamina it is just getting silly. There's no way in my life that I could ever do what you just did so bravo.
Directed mode is for sure the way to go. Get to round 15, keep flipping round until you have 200k, and then start hitting the box. You need all killstreaks as well. I found it easier to get the jet gun if you build it first, then pick it up and drop it.

For the people that are not getting the jetgun... First you have to craft the jetgun and then drop it, because if you have a jetgun in your hands, the box won't give you the jetgun, same with the melee weapons
Yo, this works in directed mode, do it there, its a lot easier. Its also a lot easier on citadel de morts, since you only have one wonder weapon to get.
Grab the killstreaks only when you don’t have one, grab it and get rid of it immidietely. For assurance I got rid of all zombie builds and spawned with dlc guns. And be patient - my SVD dropped for the first time at round 55 and got it done

If you want a way to track the weapons you got on the box, get a kill woth the weapon so you can see a number in the third tab of the scoreboard indicating you got it
They really do need to update the algorithm for it.. I have a saved directed game. I spent over an hour hitting the box to try to get the AEK to finish the cameos and could not
I decided to do Box Addict with a friend just so we both could get it out the way while grinding Dark Ops. He finished his just shy of 3 hours. It took me like another hour and a half just to get my last damn weapon, the bat. He also finished like 5 other Dark Ops while I was trying to finish this one.
I unlocked this yesterday on citadelle. Took about a million essence. I got everything except the chopper gunner the first hour and then took about 2 hours to get the chopper gunner. Not sure if it helped but I did progress on the main quest and it was round 41 when I finally got the chopper gunner. Side note: on citadelle, the only wonder weapon you have to get is the ray gun which is one less thing to worry about like on LF and Terminus
can get this Dark ops challenge in directed mode i feel like it would be obv much easier besides the fact less zombies spawn…. but that will also probably help you out more
Happens pretty often on ps5. My screen freezes for 2 seonds when i hit box sometimes. But i think it also has to do with connection not just framerate bc my wifi sucks

I tried getting this challenge a couple weeks ago and I got the xm4 and sirin, and the shotguns 5-10xs more than anything. So frustrating. Watching this makes me want to try it again and see if I can get the challenge done.

I was able to get it prior to the DLC, spent 3 hours on a squad match and 160,000 essence and didn’t get jet gun. Second time took two hours and I spun probably 50 times for an rcxd to complete it 😂
For box addict all you need to do is build the jet gun go to the box and replace the jet gun with the box gun then hit the box again and replace the gun you came in with and in 2 hrs you should get all the guns including ray gun and jet gun and 4 scorestreak and DONT NOT SAVE AND COME BACK because you will have to get all the guns again and wont get the jet gun … i did mines in 2 hrs easy
I have tried this three times in recent days, I get all guns/weapons apart from the Maelstrom, AMD sniper and Cleaver. I got the beam smasher, approx 10 rayguns but the score streaks don’t drop other than chopper gunner and the car. Its so annoying
Grinded nebula in 1 save game and have millions of points, might have to try this. I’ve gotten every weapon at some point in that save, but not all in the same game

Lego you actually don’t need dlc weapons or melee you just need the base weapons and scorestreaks.
5:38 when it lags, i recommend pausing the game till the lag is gone, and that prevents you from dying

I noticed that if you switch to your current mele weapon while hitting the box it seemed to me to help get mele weapons more frequently

You actually just need 33 of the weapons and the scorestreaks and it’ll still unlock

You can save and quit but lose progress, if you save while hitting the box. Have to start the progress all over once you restart your save file
