The Carbon Fiber and Carbon Forged wallet has a stealthy vibe to it that I really like. The all-black look will go with most outfits and it just looks great. The wallets are not cheap but they are durable. The new black elastic band gives a tighter hold on the backplate and secures your cash.
This wallet is not for everyone. If you find yourself to be a minimalist, then you will love the compact form factor of this wallet. It is compact but doesn't sacrifice storage. It can hold 12+ cards depending on if they are embossed or not. The best thing about the wallet is how fast you can pull out your card, pay, and be on your way. The ejection of it is so satisfying and it just works great every time.
I have only had the carbon forged and carbon fiber wallet for 2 weeks and so far it has not shown signs of scratching. I know that carbon fiber does tend to scratch, but since it is pretty dark the scratches may not be as noticeable. I will let you guys know if it does in the coming months. Let me know if you have any questions.
Overall the carbon fiber and carbon forged wallet are tougher then the aluminum cardholder.

Just bought the carbon one under your code! Thank you
So essentially this is made of carbon fiber plated plastic? IE the carbon fiber wraps around a plastic shell?
Thank you so much for this. Extremally helpful review
Thanks for watching :)
extremally!
@@Polyfusia I ended up buying it after watching this video. 4 months with the wallet and so happy with my purchase!
Thank you for the code just used it
I Love Mine trigger should be billet aluminum just saying
Excellent review. Thanks for sharing
Personally I think the ekster is too expensive even if it has the cool button, especially since I heard that the button does break easily and wear down depending on how much you use it or if it falls on the ground. Also idk how reliable the reviews are on the site since you can make one easily even without purchase.
i have one and i’m buying another you can ask me stuff and my button is jammed but that’s because i used to live in florida and the sand is very fine there gets everywhere 😂
@@salute_pluto I used leather one for 5 years so far has no issue even though I was pretty rough with it, I'm going to buy carbon ones this time.
Too expensive? For 80 bucks I would hope your cards are carrying inside the $80 card holder are worth more than the cardholder itself😂
is the interior of the wallet lined with anything? i have a few metal cards and i'm very worried that they will get scratched
Any updates on this wallet? I like it a lot but unsure of the durability of the button.
Do the cards get damaged (fading) from friction against each other during pop in n out?
Yes, eventually they do start to wear out from the friction against each other. Idk how much faster it wears them out.
Yes they do. And the bottoms of the cards start to get dented and the plastic starts to separate. But honestly it’s worth it. It’s not like a new card cost money. I’ve had mine for about a year and a half and have not had to replace a card yet probably in about 6 months I will need to
Mine broke in a week:/ i only had 4 cards in there and the trigger mechanism broke. It wouldnt eject my cards so they got stuck inside. Never dropped the wallet or damaged it. It just stopped working. Could’ve been a defective one or just cheaply made
Yes same the little trigger thing is really cheap it breaks really fast that’s why this fake is ass is full of shit 3 years without it break oohhhh yeah
@@PedroPerez-oy9ho you talks gud
Can you just remove the band if you don’t plan on carrying cash? Thanks!
Yes you can but you will also be losing the backplate and just have the Cardholder.
Secrid wallets for the win
Can it hold my driver's ID card securely?
I keep mine in the backplate and it has been holding it securely really well.
@@ghtechreview thank you!
The bills are supposed to go in back of the RFID plate not in the front exposed
No there not!! Directly under the cash strap!!
How many embossed cards can u fit in the inside holder
4 embossed
If the trigger stops working how do I get my cards out?
If that happens, you would have to smack the back side of the wallet a couple of times to get them to slide out. I actually got a friend whose trigger got stuck, it was due to sand getting stuck in between the gaps of the trigger. He was able to get it cleared by blowing some air in a can in there.
@@ghtechreview thanks for the reply
Does the backplate also have RFID blocking? I want to use it to put a travel pass in it but not have to take it out to scan on, does anyone know if it works through the backplate?
It’s metal so yeh!
What the hell is military grade carbon fibre??
How long does the button last ?
I would like to be part of the wallet give-away!
The wallets are overpriced. The asking price is just abysmal and they are just pushing it to see how willing the customers want to go. A better option is Pularys.
$100 for 3k CF expensive?
How long do these last? I’m not going to spend that kind of money for something that doesn’t last at least 30 years, and I don’t think that plastic mechanism that flips the cards out is going to hold up that long.
Plus, I don’t like bills on the outside of a wallet flapping in the breeze. Paper bills have a lot of bacteria on them and I prefer not to touch them every time I take out my wallet to get a credit card out. I would have to carry paper bills in another way.
Thirty years???? No wallet will last thirty fricking years!! What planet are you living on?
@@seattlebicycler3657 mines going on 17 years and it’s just started to wear down
Did he just say 30 years?? lol
Then obviously this wallet isn’t for you if you have so many complaints already. Look elsewhere
@Seattle Bicycler my last leather wallet lasted well over 30 years, and could’ve lasted longer. The one I have now is about 10 years old. This is one thing I won’t waste my money on.
3 years and nothing no wear and tear yeah bull shit not even 2 months and the trigger breaks a lot of ppl talk about this
