Hello: SO what has happened to the great project? It has been a long time since you posted. You did move and relocated your shop and did some work thereafter. Are you alright? No illness or accidents? Let us know the recent progress. Everyone is cheering for your completion of this beautiful work (of art). Let's hope you are on the road to completion. All the best
I am kinda annoyed that UA-cam didn't give me a notification this had been uploaded... I started watching you while I was in the UK. I have since moved back to NZ. With work and moving I lost track of so many things! Last night I was looking at some photos/videos of steam engines and remembered this build. I am delighted to see that you are still building the Locomotive! Your attention to detail was one of the things that really comes through with the videos. I have really enjoyed the build and eagerly awaiting coming installments.
Hello, Good to see that the 9F project is still underway. I have missed seeing your videos and was fearful that Covid had claimed you as a victim. The new workshop is great but mist have taken a huge amount of work. The reversing gearbox looks like a machining nightmare, I would not want to try machining that full size let alone in miniature. Best wishes David Green
Hey Craig, hope everything’s all good. Looking forwards to seeing the project continue. I had the pleasure of seeing a 9F at NYMR the other week. They are amazing in person. Being from Australia, it’s not something you see everyday.
Order has been restored in my universe. It’s Friday, I get home from work, and there is the next installment waiting for me, life is good again!😃 Thanks Craig 👍

Still going! 9F progressing slowly. Other interests taking up time. Will have to do an update before long. Cheers!

Yes Connor, they are impressive. I see 92134 quite regularly!
Hello,
An interesting walk through the project to date... enjoyable viewing, thank you.
Take care.

Very interesting - Thanks Craig.
Hi Craig, been wondering where you got to, nice to see you back. It's coming on a treat, be nice to see an update in the FB 9F group.
Cheers Allen, good to here from you. FB reference in next video.
Stunning job you are doing there thanks for posting
Nice to see some progress there Craig. I've not touched mine since your last Video a coupe of years back.
Great vedio... nice master piece, loved corck you use as jacket material.. I use ceramic wool.👍👍👍🤝
you've been a busy lad. looking forward to more of your exploits.
A correction; the fully machined top feeds from the Steam Workshop are not a Doug Hewson product.
Excellent work there.
Good to see progress being made
the 9F is coming along nicely... thanks for the update
❤好多年了,welcome
Great to see your work again. I need to start uploading videos of the work I am doing.
As far as I know, most of these drawings are missing or incomplete, which brings difficulties to the production. Have you encountered it?
You disappeared again, any updates at all, I love the evening star so can't wait to see it completed
Hope you are well, how are things progressing?
Thanks for sharing 👍
And about time 😄 crikey you got through some fiddly work there but great to have you back
Hi how’s part 2 getting on? Very interested to see more thanks

Hope you’re keeping well. Have you managed to make any more progress since this update?
All good thanks. Vertical boiler vid just uploaded.

Not sure there are any 7 1/4" drawings. You could buy the 5" drawings from Blackgates Engineering and re dimension them up to 7 1/4".
Hi cgap how are things going seems like forever since we had a new video
Hi Craig. Just wondering if everything is OK, only you've been off line for some time now. Missing the videos. Geoff
Hi Geoff,
All is well thanks. 9F is progressing slowly. I will post an update video in due course.
Cheers Craig
Hi, would you tell me who's drawings your using for this 9F.
The drawings are Les Warnett's available from Blackgates Engineering.
Are you coming back?👍
Hopefully Derek, I will probably put an update up every now and again. Regular UA-cam videos are not my thing at the moment. Thanks for your comment.
Out of interest, where did you get the castings for the Coupled driving wheels, are they blackgates ones?
Yes they are from Blackgates.
Hi Craig, I have just purchased a part built 9F and am now going through all your videos to help me out.
What drawings are you using please?
Hello. The drawings I am using are by Les Warnett. They are available from Blackgates Engineering. Enjoy your loco build!
@@no23mk2 Thanks for the reply I’ll get some ordered tomorrow.
HI CRAIG, NICE WORK LIKE IT, WHO MADE YOUR BOILER ?. REGARDS RICHARD.
Hi Richard - thank you. Boilermaker - Paul Tompkins - Southern Boiler Works Ltd. ua-cam.com/video/j4Ov9qolaWc/v-deo.html
Do you have any means of contact that you can provide?
Wrap in tin foil first shiny side inwards then put your cork on top.
Good idea - thanks.
@@no23mk2 It really does make a difference, the late Bill Oliver of Carlisle and district taught me that one.
@no23mk2 Nice to finally catch up on your progress again. It is looking fantastic.
pode me passar seu e-mail para contato?
