Walking improvements: First time standing and walking(Second day after aad fusion surgery)

This was my first time standing and walking after surgery. Unfortunately one of the surgeons who took the camera thought they pressed record and actually stopped the recording missing most of my walk. Either way it was a huge accomplishment, especially after living with such a risky condition and through such a challenging operation. Seeing me on my feet again and walking brought my biggest champion, my husband Brian, to tears. It took every ounce of strength in my body and I probably overspent my resources feeling really rough and needing to sleep the rest of the day. That night was challenging too but I would expect that for every win their will be challenges in my recovery.
