Hate and love dis... Its not Nice when you get completely denied and cant even begin to execute some kind of game plan, when you are at the receiving end, that is...
Dis is very disruptive but they don't massively advance your gameplan so if your opponent can break through the BS they can come out sgead. If they don't have the answers though it gets rough.
Barry got wrecked, key charge wouldn’t have saved him. It says “lose one aember, forge a key at current cost”, current cost was 6 he’d need 7 to pull that off not 1. The point of the card is you can, hypothetically get 2 keys in a single turn.
That is correct. But I was still confused. The rule state: "The first time a creature with the elusive keyword is attacked each turn, it is dealt no damage and deals no damage to the attacker in the fight" But in this case the Dew Fairy was attacking, not being attacked, so I was surprised that the Elusive effect still applied. Anyone know what I'm missing here?
Spoke too soon. He added the Way of the Wolf upgrade card which gave him Skirmish on his first turn. I thought he misspoke when he said he had "Skirmish" but he was referring to the Upgrade rather than the Creature. So Fairy took no damage not because of it being elusive, but because of its skirmish upgrade.
the fairie is "basically unkillable" when fighting (attacking or being attacked) but it is still killable using spells or "action" effect from other creatures
6:16 I also discovered. I think when creature is Elusive and you attack it.. You just pop the elusive but no one takes damage. And now I actually found that in rules tho. The first time a creature with the elusive keyword is attacked each turn, it is dealt no damage and deals no damage to the attacker in the fight. Elusive only stops damage that would be dealt by each creature’s power; damage dealt by keywords or other abilities still applies.
6:07 yes. that’s correct, and it did come in to play next time it was his turn, when ammonia clouds killed him, instead of doing just 3 to his 5. he would have used him to steal. it altered the game for sure.
They missed a thing or two in the notation, though. For example, Tom forgot to capture 3 aember from Barry when he replayed all of those creatures and forgot to deal damage to Barry's creatures when he played that card that sacrificed one of his own creatures to deal 3 damage (IIRC) to two of his opponent's creatures.
An error has been made at 6:14. A creature with Elusive is attacked. Elusive states NO DAMAGE is dealt, that includes damage to the attacking creature, yet the attacker in this movie gets 2 damage
Odd Barry said you guys didn’t have +1 power cards but they come with the starter which you got since you where using the tokens and stun card which also only come with the starter
Tom won as soon as he played the sting. Particularly because Harry had no way of destroying it or stealing enough Amber from him. My friend has a deck like this, and winning against it seems very unlikely. Unless you generate an extreme amount of Amber or get rid of the sting somehow.
I do find that sometimes decks just roll other decks in this game..since all decks are set in stone, you can not really prepare for most things..you just have to take it and hope your own thing is more effective...what is good about it thoughts that tactics and good game sense really matters! Still, the game could benefit from giving every deck a side board..
Barry could have won with some tighter play and I think Tom had a really lucky early game, drawing all of his disruption early you need more than one game to determine if a deck is too powerful.
Thomas Opsal You’re probably talking about the rule of 6 where a card/copies of a card/duplicates of a card (by title) can’t be played more than 6 times per turn (essentially to avoid infinite turns which can occasionally under rare circumstances be possible).
Why is it every video I watch people are using elusive wrong. 5:56. The rules read: The first time a creature with the elusive keyword is attacked each turn, it is dealt no damage AND DEALS NO DAMAGE to the attacker in the fight. So no chomp on the first pit deamon.
Just a heads up no one gets to choose to go first, its random say you guess tails and it is tails you MUST go first, if its heads your opponent MUST go first. This is being done wrong by many people and it's very important. Elusive is ONLY when you areattacked, no damage is dealt to either creature the first time, means you need to attack with 2 creatures to kill an elusive creature.
After the video one of the recommended videos that popped up on the screen was called "Major Scam Involving KeyForge Decks - How They Do It And How To Protect Yourself" i think that is a sign not to buy, if UA-cam themselfs are suggesting keyforge is bad on a video advertising it.
Hmm... mysterious planet that steals souls from across the galaxy... mysterious dimension trapping characters from different franchises... I think you are onto something.
So one of the major issues I'm seeing is a fairly newbie mistake in most cardgames, I see it alot in magic and yugioh. They get so focused on playing all the cards they can that they forget to actually do the effects of those cards. I would put a list up here of each time they do it, but it happens practically every turn. Slow down, play each card, and do the effects before moving on to the next card you want to do.
i feel like this game really shows the main issue I see with Keyforge: the lack of cost on cards. Theres no way Tom could have won that easily if he didnt have the massive swing at the end where he was basically allowed to summon every monster he'd played during the game without any downside
There are downsides. One downside is that it is a dis card. Now the card seems very powerful from how Tom was able to use it, but imagine a game where that card is drawn early, or in a deck without many dis creatures. Suddenly you have declared dis played one card for the chance at a stronger next turn. If you declare any house other than dis, the card is much weaker because you are also almost guaranteed to not draw any cards and are relying on things your opponent has already shown they have the ability to remove. So basically we saw the best possible outcome of the card, but most plays with it will not be so strong.
I agree on general, however the overall theme of House Dis seems way too OP in its denial and its CC effects. So regardless of how lucky Tom was in his drawings, I feel like the House needs some serious balancing
For me it also draws other elements that I really dislike about the game, but it's just one good example. In a game where you don't choose what goes in your deck control elements are going to beat more aggressive ones every time as long as the control is somewhat consistent, and the house system ensure that it generally is.
@@goldcreeper7376 I disagree, the lack of card costs and the fact you're consistently drawing cards hurts control quite badly as they can almost never maintain a hard lock on the board. This game was pretty much the perfect dis game where Tom got a lot of control down very early and got a couple of swing turns but if Barry had played a bit better he could very possibly have won. In this game disruption effects have to be powerful because if they weren't they'd be almost meaningless.
Well produced but many badplays and misplays here. Still fun to watch. And yeah Tom deck looks really good, the Dis part of his deck is clearly shamelessly good or just say it "OP"
6:07 with elusive neither party takes damage when attacking a creature with elusive the first time. he mistakenly put damage on both attackers that turn 👎
House Dis: "What, you wanted to play the game?"
Hate and love dis... Its not Nice when you get completely denied and cant even begin to execute some kind of game plan, when you are at the receiving end, that is...

@26:13 Harry should not have been able to forge a Key, as Tom's Charette should have captured 3 Aember.
I scrolled down to say this, glad I wasn't the only one to notice.
@@Pattoe Same
Pattoe I did the same. Well done Saige 👍
There are always some oversights of the rules
Well I guess that was also a kind of missplay by tom as well
The most beautiful hair vs the most beautiful beard, who will win!?
Beard is hair, automatic +1
Barry got wrecked, key charge wouldn’t have saved him. It says “lose one aember, forge a key at current cost”, current cost was 6 he’d need 7 to pull that off not 1. The point of the card is you can, hypothetically get 2 keys in a single turn.
2 keys in a turn, or get a key before your opponent steals all your aember and stops you from getting one ;)
Or forge a key after you steal/reap a bunch
E Lowe It’s almost as if typos happen when on a phone dipshit.
Man, I’m so glad they got Jesus Christ for this video
TBH he *was* using _Jew Ferries_
Lol I heard him say that too.
Two of them actually: one with the beard and one with the hair
Nah, you got to combine the two, Tom's beard and Barry's hair equals Jesus.
I love how the errata just gave up on correcting mistakes halfway through the video.
Elusive creatures receive nor DEAL damage when they're first attacked.
That is correct. But I was still confused. The rule state: "The first time a creature with the elusive keyword is attacked each turn, it

... and to get the Æmber bonus
Pause at 0:00 for the true spirit of Brewis Ginley
Oh god....new ThatMadCat thumbnail image?
TOM DIDN'T SAY CHECK REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
GET THE PITCHFORKS
Harry looks like a 1700s French noble
Doesn't exactly bode well. He should avoid tennis grounds, public spaces and anyone with the name Maximilian.
the fairie is "basically unkillable" when fighting (attacking or being attacked) but it is still killable using spells or "action" effect from other creatures
Tom's deck seemed so OP at the beginning lol
some how whenever tom plays card games he always get those sneaky sneaky deks

This is such a good series 😁
I have clicked every link in the description. Please send more.
Man, Barry boy has such luscious locks, I haven't seen him in so long, it was quite surprising.
Tom missed the capture 3 on one of his creatures
Toms deck seems pretty OP
Naw Harry made A LOT of misplays and could of won sooner then Tom.
@@fyrexia actually, they both, made tons of bad plays and misplays
The mars decks are so flipping cool man,all cards r about space and aliens and abductions lol
I wanna see more of this game its fun
House Dis is basically every Blue magic player's comfort zone.
KeyForge: Match #2 - Harry gets absolutely destroyed for 30 min
need that keyforge tourney!
An error has been made at 6:14.

8:22, they forgot to do what Deep Probe does. Already probing earlier in the turn, you know what house to make him discard.
From the earlier probe he knew that Tom had no more creatures to target, just action cards.
Waywardpaladin right it hits only creatures
Started to wonder whether Tom would actually ever forge a key
can’t wait for the next matches
I've never heard of this game before, but watching Tom kick the shit out of Harry made it seem like I need to play this LOL
Tom: Welcome back
Me: Commander
FOCUS! FOCUS on the fake wall! Not on the players or the card's! PERFECT!
Odd Barry said you guys didn’t have +1 power cards but they come with the starter which you got since you where using the tokens and stun card which also only come with the starter
Other tom swiped them, obv:)
What a surprise, Tom plays Dis.
Wow Tom seems to play the taxman XD
Tom won as soon as he played the sting.
Particularly because Harry had no way of destroying it or stealing enough Amber from him.

Most decks with Shadows, Logos, or so will punish you for having a big pile of Aember.
Lewis Ben Harry and Tom are the most british guy names ive ever heard
Pretty sure the aember imp meant Harry could only play 2 cards but still activate more
you are correct
Tom ruined Harry with all these "dis" tracks
I really like the pop-ups. Hope they learn from their mistakes
KeyForge dudes. Its in the name. Forge your keys. You can't just horde gems. Not that there is a reason to anyway. Forge your keys.
Dis and Shadow is a deadly combo
I need to see Ben's deck verses Tom's one!!
Wow, they both need to watch the Super Tutorial 5000.
27:06 Oh. The editor agrees with me :D
More videos please 😁
It's Jesus vs Gandalf

Jeezus I haven’t seen Harry before it’s kinda surprising
Pretty sure Skirmish doesn't count for being attacked, it only counts for attacking
Tom should have been able to kill the dew at the start, Skirmish means it can't take damage from fights.
skirmish means you don't take damage when you're the attacker, the card can still be attacked by your opponent
Harry/Barry/Harry is the second coming of Jesus.
For the love of god please stop calling it "money"... it's CALLED ÆMBER YOU BUFFOONS!!11!!!!1! (totally kidding Harry & Tom, thanks for the videos)
you messed up and dident cap.. on play capture 3

Is it just me or does Barry look like an escaped criminal with all that orange? With that long hair I'm sure he had reasons to breakout...
Where is battle boys i hope they take part in vigilus and get some new black legion models if not im more than happy to bring the black legion
6:13 editor missed this fuckup only one of the pit demons should have taken damage, the elusive tag means no creature takes damage on first hit.
I wonder why Harry wasent playing Zorg more often
Pretty sure Tom made an illegal play. I was told you can only activate one card name per turn.
Thomas Opsal You’re probably talking about the rule of 6 where a card/copies of a card/duplicates of a card (by title) can’t be played more than 6 times per turn (essentially to avoid infinite turns which can occasionally under rare circumstances be possible).

zijn er mensen in Limburg (regio Maaseik - Weert) geïnteresseerd om Keyforge te spelen?
U can play unlimited number of the same card in one turn right,I mean atleast up to the amount of em u have in ur deck I guess, yea
as soon as you have 6 aember, you have to forge a key though :p
not if you have a card down which says to skip that step, which Tom had.
Question.. Player on the right had almost whole game enough Æmbers to forge a key.. yet you still let win the other dude. Was is 'cuz of pity?
This was driving me crazy. I have no idea why he didn't forget a key that whole time.
1:46 He had card called ''The Sting''. That's why he have to skip forging a key step.
Does that ring indicate that Harry is married/engaged? Just curious as i've never noticed or heard it mentioned before...
When did Charles Manson join the Yogscast?
So he played 2 cards his first turn. I thought you can only play one card on your first turn?
I've always wondered, is tom a fulltime content creator or does he still do editing?
michael full time
Some say Barry some say Harry some say both
But actually it's pronounced Jesus 🙏

Basically as close to a Black MtG deck as Tom could have played...

According to the rules you don't get to *choose* if you go first. The coin flip decides.
wait..... that image on the final card.....
