Once when I got word of the April Fools broadcast in 2012 and then once again in 2020 when Covid lockdowns happened and I needed something comforting and familiar to remind me everything is alright. I haven’t missed a broadcast since. I usually don’t have Fridays off of work but serendipitously I somehow had it off the day off the day of Toonami Rewinds premier. I closed my eyes and was brought back. Support the things you love and believe in. I watched the entire block. Just like I did over 20 years ago. Bang.
The 2004/2012,2013 packaging is still my favorite look of the block with the 2014 and 2017 looks being runner ups. It's just so futuristic, sleek and cool looking, even after all these years. If they could only recycle the TOM 3 or 3.5 models... Regardless, I'm glad they're using it for the third time now. #ToonamiRewind
