Are you a professional filmmaker, photographer? I love the improvised hats the ladies are wearing at the market! Ah for a time machine. If I win the lottery I plan to move to one of the Scandinavian countries, up near the Arctic circle- I love cold weather, no tropical island for ne- the Faroe Islands seem a bit bleak but...I watch Scandinavian "noir" mysteries on the telly. Thanks for posting. Are you English and Danish? Namaste, Z. (Got any footage of Paris)!? Obviously I'm an armchair traveler who daydreams too much, I loathe where I live, not the country, CANADA, A PROUD CANUCK I AM, but this crummy, wasteland I f a city...cue The Animals, We Gotta Get Out of This Place, nice to have an older sister with a great record collection)
@MSYNGWIE12: A word from a Copenhagener: "the improvised hats the ladies are wearing at the market" are actually part of the female regional costume from the fishing village called Skovshoved, north of Copenhagen. These women are fishermens' wives called Skovserkoner ("Skovser Women") selling fish by Gammel Strand (one of Copenhagen's canals) 🙂In 1963 there were only 5 Skovserkoner left and by 1984 the last Skovserkone, named Doris Marx, was alone at Gammel Strand. She retired in 2008 and thus ended a several hundred year old Copenhagen tradition.
I Love watching my hometown 70 years ago, and I recognize everything, though much of it, is long gone...............thanks for this video...........🤗
