The funny thing is this guy has nothing to do with writing this song.. the lead guitarist and a guy named “Call” wrote it… but here’s tommy eeking out a meager living playing his one hit 42 years later. I don’t know if I’m happy for him or embarrassed?
I wouldn't say it say it sounds "nothing" like it used to, but it's definitely a bit of a beat up voice either due to wear and tear, lifestyle, age, or all three. From the comments I was expecting much worse. I think it's a fine performance from a guy who never had a traditionally amazing voice anyway.
