Need Corey to do Hot ones
Perfect
I nominate Craig Jones
Or Phil anselmo FUCKING HOSTILE WINGS
@@MaggotfromLA666 screams in alien dialect
Bro, YES
This is one of the best Corey Taylor interviews ever
For sure
Their personalities coincide perfectly with each other
I agree, and thats saying something because he was pretty good on the nerdist podcast
This makes me so happy. This crossover is nuts! One of my favorite musicians with one of my favorite comedians.
1:04:20 - Corey Taylor- "Dude, It's so exhausting having to PEOPLE...All The F**king Time" I needed this quote in my life.
Have you read or listened to Corey's Book "You're making me hate you"? If not, you should check it out. Guarantee you'll love it!!
I just need Corey to be on JRE and my life will be complete
You'll need Spotify for that
Nah. Joe would just try to spin the interview while being a massive hypocrite. Take any two episodes with guests that have opposing views and watch him contradict himself to appease each of them.
@@KrimetTStarKiller Corey Taylor in ymh would be incredible
Or impaulsive
@Steve Blakley if their argument held any water it wouldn't be an issue.
The interest in each other’s crafts is genuinely gnarly and can not be faked this is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever watched
Hell yeah!!! So keen to start watching, I need to sit down and blaze with the tv with this one
Really? It’s Burnt Chrysalis and worn out Corey Taylor.
Luke, I agree. Also cheers to a intelligent public comment.
Dude...Bert heard the guests Tom is getting on Tom talks and immediately realized he needed to step up his game. Good job pulling this one Bert.
I nearly had a stroke reading this
@@connorjames2762 All he did was miss a comma after “talks.” No need to have seizures from this comment.
@@JesusHComedy i don’t think there’s supposed to be a comma there, it’s more so just the structure of the sentence that’s a little confusing and the un-capitalized “talks” in Tom Talks.
@@2spooky4me63 yeah that
Not sure which guest tom has had recently. His last two YMH podcast were just him and his wife
I remember seeing Stone Sour in Peoria IL. The fans were singing so loud half way through Bother that Corey quit singing and just played guitar , Because he was crying. It was amazing to see. He knew he had made it.
I wish I hadn’t read that. Sounds like bullshit to me.
I've seen Mudvayne five times the greatest band ever come out of Peoria Illinois
I saw Slipknot on Long Island years back. I'd love to see Stone Sour
Can anyone picture Corey Taylor with his Iowa mask saying “gnarly” lol.
Uhhhhh hundred percent! Disasterpieces DVD, Corey is walking with a camcorder during "Jump the fuck up!" in Spit It Out, says "C'mon man, this is gonna be crushiiiiiiiiiing!"
So yes, "gnarly" is well within what I would expect from him.
More so the doctors diagnosis of "gnarly" spider bite lol. something a dr lexus would say
@@drlexus814 yeah... well the doctor said I have a case of the gnar gnar! :P
@@benmaxwell755 Man, I used to watch Disasterpieces every night as I was falling asleep. I've seen it so many times, I can watch it in my mind front to back lol. It's still the best live DVD I've ever seen.
This is such a great surprise, my favorite comedian and metal singer
Dude I don’t think I’ve ever clicked so fast on a video
Merry Chrysler!
Corey is a goat for sure
@@nivangunaratne6068 dude, corey is a huge comic book nerd and star wars nerd. I think he likes those more then music and the dude has 3 bands going at once so thats saying something lol
i agree my man!
Oh yes sir
Lol
Hell yeah,
OH BOY THATS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR, WOOOOOW
New podcast idea called the belly and the neck ???
What are u speaking of?!
I love Corey!!! He's so articulate when he speaks! I could listen to him talk for hours!
@Mr. Resistance I completely agree!!!
That is why I loved his books being audio lol. Hearing his voice reading it in his voice is incredible!
Dope
Gnarly
Seriously man, been waiting for Rogan to get someone from Slipknot on the show for ages. Bert will certainly do for now!
@@kirkkatana For real.
@@xenophagia WWE's The Undertaker is my next in line.
Great name man that made me laugh 👍🏻
You just made every Metal Head's day. Thank you Bert.
when I seen the name i clicked instantly, was very surprised to see Corey here. One of my favorite artist. Dope!!
I'm not that comment person but, Slipknot is one of that important bands of my life in music and Art at all, who helped my metalhead taste and things. I'm 30 now and still enjoy this band. In this recent interviews you figure out how Corey became so cute and lovely with the years. Def. one of the bests singers and front-men in Metal and Rock scenes, ever. He's just pure gifted.
By far your best interview ever. Great job Bert 🤘🏼
Bart got pissed at Tommy for having all these cool guests, so he pushed him down the stairs and stole his guests.
He's learning!
Dood! I nearly choked on my dinner reading that comment. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This podcast was “gnarly”
Might be something about his age. The other person that says "gnarly" this much is Steve-O, and he's also 46.
Damn right it’s a good one
and it was RIGHT
As the kids say
This was the HANDS DOWN BEST EPISODE AND THANK YOU FOR THIS ONE! I needed this conversation, I was in a different head space then after this episode, I snapped out of it!
You're under rated with the podcasts dude! This is one of my favorite and I'm only half way thru. I feel like these are way more real and in the heart versus commercial podcasts. This is great!
respect to bert for this one!
Gang
@@crucifire9224 gang gang
The smile on Bert's face when Corey said "20 candy bars"... I want to experience that same joy just once in my life.
i haven’t seen something this well put together in a while. this is just amazingly beautiful. my favorite comedian and my absolute biggest overall influence in life making connections with each other and just having a good time with the questions
By far the best interview you’ve done! Thanks Bert!
I did not expect this. I'm glad it exists though.
It took me a bit to realize that he's got a "revenge of the jedi" poster in his room. Those things are super rare and Corey's looks brand new.
Lol I saw the same thing.. If I'd been in Bert's shoes I woulda had to nerd out on star wars for like 30 minutes
i was confused for half the vid and had to find this comment to remind myself that it existed
@@JohannesWOW thanks negative nancy
@@jasonpwnd reprints of everything are all over. vintage tees are the same way
Probably reprint...most people, including wealthy, do NOT hang expensive originals on wall, due to fear of people damaging posters. Also, reprints usually are in better condition and look nicer to visitors
hearing him scream when he was talking about his vocal warmups was crazy lol his voice always impresses me, i can't believe he can make these sounds/sing for hours every night for over 15 years... what an insane musician
Time stamp anyone?
@@ethanmears1102
Bit late, but 1:36:30
I always suspected those "slide-in" growls/screams weren't just for effect, but a way to engage that unique raspy yell he does instead of a traditional fry/false chord scream.
It really makes it stand out
1:38:08
Saw the guest and instantly was hooked. I grew up going to their shows. Now being old the music takes me right back to that place. This was probably one of my favorites because of the guest. Unexpected and great!
Love the fact Corey mentioned Dokken doing something for Dream Warriors, that is how you know he is a true horror fan.
Whenever people have a giggle at that era of hair metal, everyone can usually agree that Dream Warriors was an epic song for that film. Plus the extra videoclip on the VHS. Legendary soundtrack!
ROKKEN LIKE DOKKEN!
Holy shit, what a guest. Slipknot is def one of my favorite bands.
Bert. This is your best podcast you've done on your part. Great job. The fact that you did this remotely vs in person is insane. You reached a new level, my dude.
This was better than any interview or talkshow that Corey has EVER been on. I use to spend hours scouring the internet listening to slipknot interviews and this one was a home run. Thank you!
He was really good on let there be rock with Dean Delray
I couldn't hit play fast enough. Damn right, Bert, 20+ year diehard fan here. Slipknot, Stone Sour and his first book art tattoos included. CMFT 🤘
Corey just needs to go on YMH it'd be so so so good
No he doesnt
I’d be down for it
Either YMH or Josh Potter's show - I think Corey received a shoulder hair video from Josh last Christmas, so he has to be a YMH fan
Hopefully he'll be coming up in May
@@fonz824666 he better not be stingy
Well done!! Great interview!! Thanks Guys!!
Fantastic 2 hours! It felt like 2 friends just talk and chill.
Not only that I love Corey as a singer but could listen him talk forever. He's so good at explaining things . Where someone would answer a question in a few words sentence, Corey's answer is so comprehensive with so many details.
Dude I love when bert messes up the question but coery is so g he understands it
Bert. I’m all about Blind Melon too. Fricking love those guys. I get stoked every time you mention them online. Awesome interview. CT is an awesome dude. Thanks to both of you.
This podcast was the combination one of my favorite comedians and one of my favorite musical artist. This was one of my favorite bertcasts. Thank you Bert.
Bert, thanks for having Corey on! I finally have been able to listen to this one and it was great. Lots of great moments and topics. I want to point out that I love that you mentioned Phish and Widespread. If you have never experienced them live you really don't understand what they are about just like being at a Slipknot show. Some people don't understand how people can appreciate both genre's but they are masters of their craft. I'm also glad you allowed Halston to have some time in to get some questions answered it was a great addition to the conversation.
really cool interview. i'm actually impressed how well these two click.
I can listen to Corey talk anytime Su, he’s so interesting and is very insightful. Also love how he’s always a fan first as well, dude is humble as hell I love that
People tend to forget that artists are people too. It's sad that their fame envelopes their persona.
Thank you. Huge fan of both of you. This is an amazing listen
Thank you bert! For interviewing CT. I already loved you very but that just made you go up an extra notch in my book.
As a fellow rabid Slipknot fan, thanks for having Corey on here. He's such a down to earth dude with cool shit to talk about 🔥🤘🏻
Much respect to Corey for the props he gives to all members of the band, his and others. The BEST bands work as a whole and create magic!!
Love both of these dudes. Glad to see both of these worlds coming together
This has been my absolute favorite Bertcast!!
Corey is my absolute idol and you're my favorite comedian this is a dream come true, and yes us slipknot fans are probably the most passionate people there are
Slipknot has saved my life multiple times. Helped me through my divorce with nero forte and if i had the chance to meet Corey Taylor I would give him the biggest hug and say thank you for everything bc I truly feel that me and Corey have been through almost the same shit. Call me nuts but every single song has gotten the tears and fustration out. So corey if you see this somehow some way. Thank you and love ya bro. I hope to meet you soon or whenever i can. You saved my life.
I hope you're doing ok and hanging in there. I see you. I have you in my thoughts...life can get better friend. Belive me.
Dude "Made of Scars" was my divorce anthem.. Such a good song. Thanx corey
What an incredible podcast! It’s so cool to see these two connect, my two favourite people.
This totally came out of nowhere for me. Love you both and GREAT episode
30:56 Corey genuinely proving he's a comedy fan. Holy shit.
holy crap ive been wanting to see corey on joe rogan for ages but bert got him first!well done my dude!
This is the best Corey Taylor interview I've ever seen! Such a great use of time to talk about things I never thought of.
Bert also had 2 hours of one on one with him where as past interviewers had 20 mins tops.
This was an awesome podcast Bert. Tbh I haven’t listened to a lot of Bertcast’s. But man if you are gonna get awesome guests like this I’m all in. Well done, awesome interview. You were both so genuine. The vibe was sick.
During the last podcast bert said at the beginning "I have a podcast with Corey taylor coming up" and I lost my shit. Been waiting for this, amazing work bert
I was just thinking yesterday while listening to Rogan that I wish he would have Corey Taylor on his show, then I see he’s on your show! Hell yeah!
Just sad I can't give more than one thumbs up to a comment. I got 2 thumbs
He will be. They all share guests most of the time it seems like.
This interview is LOADED with great references!
Corey Taylor screaming without a mic being on a vid call is just amazing hes just warming up too
Faith no More's album Angel Dust is in my top 5 metal albums of all time.
Great interview Bert.
I think this is the longest Bert has gone without interrupting. Cheers Bert
Don’t think anyone is brave enough to interrupt Corey fucking Taylor
It's Corey Taylor!
Two rad , genuine dudes right here. What a great interview, on both parts.
What a great collide of 2 worlds I didn’t expect but really enjoyed. Thanks Bert!
CMFT is the man, We are not your kind is a bad ass album that we needed for the great suck of 2020
One of the last people I ever thought would be on Bert’s podcast.
Such a legendary artist that stayed consistently good throughout the years. So impactful and influential.
Iowa native, been a fan since the beginning! Loved this podcast! Love you Bert!
"People don't realize how athletic rock n' roll is" - Sabastian Bach. God this was so refreshing to watch Bert. Thank you!
One of the absolute greatest vocalists out there that most probably write off because of the band he’s in
I can't get enough of this. I love both of these men..... and I've never said that to my father.
Dude!!! Bert..... thank you!!! I have been WAITING on someone in the Rogan orbit to interview Corey!!
This is Bert redeeming himself from fanning out on Sandler. Great episode!

Corey Taylor is one of my favorite musicians aside from Jonathan Davis from Korn. So this podcast means alot to me and I was so excited to see it when it first uploaded!
And I've gotta say, Bert, you did a wonderful job interview Corey. Seriously, you did far better than I'm sure you think you did. And I'm not just saying that.
This interview between you & Corey Taylor was truly all that I would have expected & enjoyed it very much!
I think interviewing suits you, and you could get even better at and would benefit at doing so!
Keep em coming!

This is the best episode that I never knew I wanted.
"I don't understand taking partying too far to the point where you gotta stop"
Riiiiiight. It's called denial, Bert ;)
Some people can just control themselves and genuinely have a hard time putting themselves in an addicts shoes.
Seriously, especially being in comedy and show business like you've NEVER seen that and can't understand it?? Bull fuckin shit.
Praising Fred durst in front of Corey Taylor, that's what I call perfect interview preparation
That's old news man. I'm pretty sure there's no problem there anymore (if there ever actually was to begin with) and bringing up bands like Limp Bizkit is relevant to when Slipknot came out...plus that Fred story was hilarious and brought up interesting conversation. Also, Corey doesn't seem like the kind of dude you have to walk on eggshells when talking to him.
It’s been like 20 years. I’m sure everybody is over it.
I can't express how much I love this! Bert and Corey you guys are my two favorite entertainers. Kudos to both of you. Love you guys!
Legendary podcast Bert! Best interview with Corey to date! 🔥💯 one of the best to ever do it!
