Stronger than Super Saiyan God and SSGSS. But not stronger than Ultra Ego or Instinct.
@ I can kind of agree with this but I have some caveats.
Firstly, my original comparison is just SSJ4 Vegeta from the GT Anime vs UE Vegeta from the Manga, which I favour GT Vegeta simply because the Manga’s feats aren’t nearly as impressive as the Anime’s representation of them (this’d also be the case when comparing DBS Anime characters to their Manga Counterparts). Like Anime Vegeta from the ToP has a more convincing case over GT Vegeta than Manga Vegeta from the Granolah Arc does, despite better inverse scaling.
But when it comes to Super Saiyajin 4 vs Ultra Ego as power boosts, I think Super Saiyajin 4 may still have some semblance of an argument. GT Perfect Files describes Super Saiyajin 4’s boost as bringing the user to their uppermost limits. Following this logic, Vegeta’s current limit in DBS is at bare minimum Ultra Ego, meaning him turning Super Saiyajin 4 should inherently equalise or surpass that. But it’d also mean Vegeta’s SSJ4 boost in DBS would be greater than it was in GT (DBS Vegeta’s limit is higher as he obviously has access to Blue & UE while GT Vegeta only had access to SSJ2). So SSJ4 would be both stronger and weaker at the same time.
@ I suppose this could be a highball SSJ4 argument. Even with GT perfect files stating that SSJ4 would be bringing someone to their uppermost limits, an Ultra Ego Vegeta would just out-zenkai boost an SSJ4 Vegeta in the end. SSJ4 hasn’t exhibited the same capability to adapt to and or benefit from damage taken in the same way as Ultra Ego. So it may start off as a draw but Ultra Ego edges out the win in the end. Boy you were serious when you said you wanted to start an argument to boost this guys engagement lmaooo
@ even then I’d probably argue Ultra Ego falls into said potential for a DBS SSJ4. Honestly but Ultra Ego really needs more fleshing out to come across as a viable technique in my eyes, it almost felt like it set Vegeta up for failure against Gas and Granolah
