This is incredibly smooth and repeatable. I'm impressed. Best small scale professional ease of this type I've seen for recycling.

Great job! What settings did you use on the walls of the 3D printed mold?

Hi, could you tell me what time of the motor do you use, suction time?

Nice work man.....would like to ask some questions, appreciate any assistance, thank u.
1- what do u use to suction the product on to the mold ?
2- how do u release it from mold ?
3- what type of bounding agent do u use ?
I do notice u have a hose line it is for suction or releasing, thank

Well as a guess that rushing sound we hear is compressed air pushing the print out. Seems to push out the same holes the water is suckled through to draw up the pulp.
      Clever design

I've made setups like this for prototyping at work. You can use a wet/dry vac, or a vacuum pump with a reservoir in between. you would blow it off the mold with compressed air running through the same mold. The slurry should be more like 1% fiber by volume, no binding agent needed, just dry in a convection oven for a couple hours or in the sun for a day

#Sam Swift Hi, great idea. I made tools for pulp tray everyday but you impressed me. You got good result without stainless steel mesh. You made holes by hand drilling or You designed holes on 3D model? What is the holes diameter? Best regards

I wonder if there is a way to make the surface smoother. I have some ideas to make products from recycled cardboard, but I think the roughness would not work well for that.

I think, to make it smoother you use a blender to get a finer pulp and use a press mold, i have seen some videos with that technique and the pieces are more detailed

He re-invented pulp molding, but at a prototype scale which is usually not done. Its a clever design
