my dear, I've listened only first minute of your story and immediately went here to write my comment. Because you are telling MY story, word by word and the same "awakening" happened to me in march 2020. i am the male intj in my middle age btw. Now back to video
well, remember this: you are not to be a one-woman show for the rest of your life, because you are a Woman Intj and you can do your own child anytime, and this is all what you will need in your life to feel true happiness and satisfaction. Dont miss it, career is only 2nd priority later!
My family often says that im annoying, that i think im smart when im actually not, or that i flex to much my logic. They literally have ENOUGH of me, and thinks that my taughts make no sens. Now i know why, but im going to keep this a secret before they tell me to be more modest-
@@roumaissavds8606 I am INTJ, my father ESFP and my mom ESTJ, my older brother ESTP and my younger brother ESFP XD. Makes no sense!. Funny enough I am really close with my younger brother(esfp) we really understand eachother well!
The worst is when you get stuck in a class or new job, you analyse everyone and realise you cant vibe with anyone. Not that they suck, just not feeling it you know. Man its a drag.
Yes, in my last job I was almost fired multiple types. And in the end they kept me because, although I was very "annoying" it showed that I really cared for the company. Except that later I fired myself to do what they did there with, less people, less resources and thrice the productivity.
@Maria jose sometimes people will think that we are showing off "how smart we are" by making this sort of questions and then proposing sollutions while everyone else either is angry that we are exposing problems or does not see the point we are trying to make. After all what is a 0.05% cost reduction per week in 12 months of operation, right?
INTJs (2.5%) can learn self development and learn emotional intelligence and this will help them with others at work though: -Find INFJs and ENFJs (people high in emotional intelligence) and copy their style. - smile more (counter act the INTJ stare). - slow down when discussing your ideas- take people with you. If they understand, they won't misjudge you. (intuition makes leaps and some people struggle to follow INTJs). - compliment people more. - telling the truth is important, but pick your battles. Some people won't change, so you may be wasting your time. Also, the truth hurts and some people take things personally (particularly managers). - for every negative criticism, state two positives -Listen first. -Aim to gain rapport first before making your points. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt : “People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care” -More empathetic statements like, 'Sorry to hear that' (make sure you mean it) -Don't speak in paragraphs. Speak in sentences, giving the other person a chance to speak. Keep sentences short, particularly with sensor people, as they may find it difficult to make intuitive leaps - After speaking, ask 'does that make sense?' - don't ask the 'why' question. INTJs love this question but apparently the masses find the question too intense? Apparently it would be better to say, 'it seems like you are doing X this way, can you explain your thought process?' Gosh, the excess words really goes against everything about INTJ efficiency. LOL
Fellow female INTJ here, the worst for me is when I try to actually try some of the other people's zones, I just sit and analyze how empty their conversations are, and then just head straight out back to my den, to feed my brain and restore the lost neurons...
👌🤣 When I go to a family function etc, on the drive there I run conversations by my husband like a plan to somehow fit into the boring topics I could care less about. I randomly blurt out "did you know sharks have two stomachs?"🤣🤣
😂 As an ENTP I can relate to this. I sometimes hear people speak and think what are they actually talking about right now. I always try to spice up small talk beyond the boring stuff. People respond pretty well to it. My casual conversations might seem to lack content but for the right people they can intuit the deeper meaning hidden in them.
Fellow female INTJ here as well, you were so right when you said how we kind of know when we gonna vibe with others, like we don’t know why but we just know
@@Es-jr2fh That’s not an INTJ trait. INTJ collect data and generalize the concept. If you’re unable to analyze the reason then how can you say your strongest functions are the same as INTJ’s?
I’m a 15 year old INTJ girl. And while I’m proud of being different and weird, I do not enjoy the extreme stereotypes that INTJ’s can’t have empathy or emotion. Cognitive functions are a thing.
Yeah you're right! Even if I am an INTJ, I am emotional and empathetic. Maybe I use my Fi more than Te, so I am way more introverted than normal INTJs and more emotional. This gets me into depression many times and I get out of it through Se or Te. Maybe I am a more mature INTJ.
Lydia: „INTJ women usually wear all black or gray” Me: “wtf that’s not true, how would it be possible???” * i look down and realize I wear all gray and yesterday wore all black” Me: “oh sh*t ”
INTJ here. It makes work interesting. People either love me or hate me, and theres no in between. I didnt realize this was all based on my personality which is comforting actually because its literally something I cant just fix, so I can give myself a break.
As an intj woman, people always address me as a weird person. Im always moved a lot so i have to build many personalities everytime. Old soul, masculine woman, shy to socialize. Its hard. Also, every place I've been i see no good friends for me to be with. I never had a bestfriend. Ending up making me hate people with too much feels-radiating energy. But i found a group of good friends still in contact, i will never forget them. Right now depression really hit me hard for years with crushed dreams.
I find it very easy to connect with INFPs. They tend to be genuinely curious about who a person is beyond the facade, and can challenge me with different perspectives, particularly around feelings. (Of course, it is very INTJ to try and find a pattern to solve the 'social problem'.)
The most attractive traits of a INTJ is their clarity in their complex psyche, their self sufficiency, fierce independence, most of all how upfront they are as a person with no bullshit filter. -INFJ-T/A
Unfortunately for me, that upfront honesty you mention, always comes off wrong to others. Because of this, I have trained myself to physically restrain my words (mostly at work to keep my job; I don’t care what others think otherwise) and apply filters that are very difficult for me to implement. This makes me often feel fake? Don’t think that’s the right word but... -INTJ-T
@@kristinlarson311 I think the word you are looking for is, "Disingenuous". What do you think? I can extremely relate to you on this one when I was younger by just telling people, "the way it is" What I learned over the years before confronting a person is: Is this the right thing to do? Will they be hurt if I tell them? Will this fix the problem? Will this be worth my time? What is the most respectful and effective way to approach them about it?
It's how I have made the most money honestly, I studied and practiced skills in electrical and it paid off and I do my own work because of it. I have many different talents in mechanical engineering and 3D CAD modeling, among others I am always able to find work but it has to be solo I have never liked working along side co-workers they quickly begin to irritate and annoy me
@@ravenortega829 everyone is misunderstood. Doesn’t matter how rare you are. If you think about it, most people like you are so consumed with the idea of “I’m not understood” that they think they understand others good enough already. oh and also, you’re not an INTJ. INTJ doesn’t crave validation nor value social status. They are very introverted and focus on their personal values.
INTJ female here, I have trouble having female friends also because of the """emotional burn"""" LOL we are definitely not those girls who say 'I only hang out with guys aha' for the sausage fest, I hate to say it but you just know that hanging out with guys is not going to be emotionally taxing. It gets tiring trying to be the ditzy I talk about my emotions uwu girl, you know :/
I got to figure out how the world, the universe and understand how quantum mechanics work but it's still a mystery to me how to get to the "sausage fest". People are very complicated. I even got to understand how a thermonuclear bomb works to make fusion out of the energy of fission by figuring out even what secret ingredient what that "styrofoam" they put in the diagrams is. Some things are very interesting. Chernobyl for example was the main cause of the fall of the Soviet Union. I think the only way out for people like us INTJs is to get rich.
I think it’s not about the gender many men are told and taught by society to suppress their emotions and that’s why you stereotype them as the “thinker” gender and I’m sure there are a lot of “feeler” guys out there more than you’d expect maybe
@@Gsscvgggfdertfffhhjiuytdsss That’s not just your heart. It’s your mind too. It’s the raw power of both of those things together in an INTJ that make us formidable foes. I’m currently facing a divorce with someone I believe to be a cluster B personality, so I completely understand where you’re coming from.💪🏼❤️
As a woman who falls into the INTJ personality, I'd like to remind people that personality psychology is a lot more complex than the meyer briggs personality tests, there are some parallel factors similar to how I identify. Being introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judgmental are just ASPECTS of who I am, but they are rough equivalences by which pop-psychology likes to understand me as. We are all more complex than these tests.
@@abbeyc3307 if you say this then you just don’t understand the purpose of the concept. These labels aren’t trying to turn down our complexities, rather they create a concept that can be applied in these complexities. This concept is originated from Carl Jung but Myers-Briggs had oversimplified the concepts and stereotyped it. This rotten version of mbti is the most trending one
I can relate a lot with what you said in this video. Analyzing my classroom, talking to new people ect. I feel like I want to meet new people but as an INTJ female I can't really find someone who fit my lifestyle ( it's weird to say that lmao). I have one true friend and that's enough for me. Nice video by the way and sorry for my poor english.
Oohh damn, I can’t fully express how much I’m vibing with you .. Is it jusr me that still has that feeling that you can’t really be yourself around other ppl, especially women ,because they would think you don’t like them or don’t even want to talk to them based on your “emotionless “ reactions? Like I’m myself only when I can be chilled, don’t really give a s**t and rule my space.
I have spent a lifetime collecting a small group of female friends. I just rarely feel at ease with the pettiness. Guys are so much easier to talk to...🤦🏻♀️
You are not a narcissistic emotionless brat because you're an INTJ...those are just shitty behavior and traits that shouldn't be justified by personality types. They're in no way linked with MBTI This video is just encouraging false stereotypes about INTJs You did not even type yourself using functions
As an INTJ, I’m 100% certain you’re not an INTJ. I recommend reading up on the cognitive functions because the test is extremely faulty and can’t type something as complicated as the human mind and persona. I sense strong Fi (probably an Fi dom). Maybe ISFP or INFP. Also, this entire video screams ‘look at me’ and ‘I’m so different’, while listing common traits and behaviors many of us experience, regardless of type.
lydia: "INTJ' s normaly wear black or grey " me " No that's not me " looking at my clothes after the video mostly black grey me " oh for f***s sake !!!"
As an INTJ-A myself, I can relate so much, I only become friends with people who can challenge my brain or else I will just be polite and say yeah cool
When you said that who care what filter they use. That's so true. I'm just in highschool right now, and sometimes, or most of the time, people are so interested in useless things, like, what color the hair, who have boyfriend is that, I just can't. I can't. That is so much emotional stress I can take on. If ever I hang out with them I need a day or two to personally recharge again before meeting with other people again. Oh my gosh, thank you, I have somebody who felt the same way as me. It is so frustrating that someone never gets me or understsand me. Or when I talk to them, they don't get me at all
i am a infj and i understand you! i never liked making photo's, i don't care about boyfriends, i didn't like to gossip since it is awful i just don't like the typical stuff everybody loves
@@juliengaspillo1876 why is it frustrating to you when someone doesn’t understand you? you do realize that INTJ does not a bit crave validation right? in fact, IxTJ are the types least to crave validation and value objective morals.
That was me three years ago and everything has changed for me. I realized that I was surrounded by people who drains me. I don't know about INTJ's not needing validation and I'm sure my personality type has changed by now but I'm sure that during my highschool days, since I lived in a small town, everyone was peer pressured to like the same stuff. I'm in college now, and not everyone is pressured to like the same stuff anymore. I'm not as worried as I used to be to belong.
@ 1. if we’re talking things like moral alignments it can change. But things like mbti and enneagram can’t change. It’s your natural instinct 2. INTJ does not crave validation nor objective morals naturally. Its their blind spot. Conclusion, not a valid excuse
The fact that when I first learned about my personality type (INTJ), everything made sense... Than I read somethings about it to my mom and she basically said, "that's you, no doubt..." By the end of the article I was reading about INTJ, it was written "you are finally feeling like someone understands you." And I was literally surprised and relieved at the same time... So it's really good to know that are more people like me out there... 🥰
You're really pretty. Also well put together (at least in this video, this is the first video I'm ever seeing of you). Thanks for sharing, I'm an INTJ female and can definitely identify with everything said.
At 7:05 yep... I now believe that is absolutely a personality trait. No kidding we are the only ones who get it, mutual understanding haha. It's a beautiful 99% gift, as a female it has its awkward points.
I laughed out loud when you said we like to have a uniform. As an INTJ female of an advanced age, I admit that I have always looked for my uniform.(Styles chance, garments wear out!) Right now in my closet, I have three dresses of identical style in three muted colors. They are my favorite things to wear. Everything else causes anxiety of one degree or another. As a funny aside... some years ago I attended Weight Watchers meetings. We had a great mixed group of men AND women. I sat with the men. Yep. And when I moved away, I gave a short little farewell speech where I let everyone know that the guys were conducting interviews for my chair in the 'man corner'. Yep. It's real. We are weird. And rare. :-)
Love this and it’s so accurate. My was blown when I took the test (I’m also female intj) and realized why I am how I am. This past year I have searched and researched more and more on intjs and it’s scary accurate. Thank you for sharing!
INTJ here 🙋🏼♀️ if you ever want to connect, let me know. I now I have three clients who are INTJ (out of thousands), and the laughter and jokes themselves are worth every second of socializing lol
So spot on, especially the picking out of the person you know you will be friends with. I do this in every class/group situation. The not wanting to waste your time with people that you know you won't vibe with is totally something I do as well.
this video is so apt. as an intj scorpio woman i actually do resonate with all of the things you've talked about. plus the need to be an overachiever is so spot on!! :)
I totally agree with you on how we just don't connect with women and we're more in our element with men, also with having a rather masculine "thinking" or a way to be. And the thing with analyzing people,That is so true.
Oh my god. Thank you for this. As a fellow intj girl, this really hit. It’s so bad but sometimes I become so annoyed and out of place with my friends whenever they discuss boy stuff and it just frustrates me. I don’t get it. To me, they don’t appeal, are just a waste of my time and I’d rather study hard for myself. They come to me with all their problems and it’s so repetitive over and over again. I just say leave them it’s not that hard, they never take my advice and I have no patience. Saying that, I can cut off people so easily, if they’re a waste of my time, I just drop them without having to think twice. I am blunt and do not like to waste my energy on useless people. I analyze everything I see, and everyone I meet, to the point where i can read some individuals better than they can read themselves. I just decide to keep my mouth shut. Although I have absolutely no issue with being extroverted when the time calls ( etc. counsellor, leadership, etc. it gets so draining), I love being alone. If my friends don’t text me for a month or two, I probably wouldn’t even notice because I’m so preoccupied with myself. You’re right, we come off as cold, narcissistic, and extremely intelligent. INTJ’s keep their circle small, but real. Tie this in with my tarus horoscope and I’m loyal to the core.
this checking out who I am vibing with happened to me also when I started my exchange semester. I singled out the only male-INTJ and decided that he would be my friend. He sometimes remarks that he "still doesn't know why I wanted to be friends in the first place" and "what I want from him". Really, I couldn't give him an answer, because I just wanted it :D It became clear later, that he is also an INTJ and know seeing your video I know why I did what I did. Great to have an explanation! I am looking forward to August, where I start at a new work place and hopefully I can find someone to "vibe with" :D Additionally, what kept me from recognizing this INTJ status for a long time was that I am also German. The stereotypical german is no-nonsense (just shy of being rude), efficient and doesn't do small talk. So it was for a long time just kinda "yeah you are quite a proto-german". On the other hand, if you are an INTJ, you will probably like living in germany :D you should try it out.
I actually love all kinds of colors, and used to buy colorful clothes, but I'd inevitably outgrow the phase of liking/loving that color, and I also realized that for my skin tone, I need to stick w/ muted tones. Grayed-out hues and neutrals work best for me, and as someone who doesn't wanna be wasteful, my wardrobe can remain timeless. I've actually had people go out of their way to compliment me on how good black looks against my skin, so it's definitely not a "boring" or "safe" color. Not everyone is meant to wear brights. We all have colors and shapes and patterns that suit us best. AVOIDING the looks that don't flatter us, or clash w/ who we are, is key...and we often reach that through trial and error during our youth.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only person like this. All my life I've been trying to "be like everyone else" because I thought I wasn't normal. I tried to make myself have a different personality while also staying in the shadows. Now I feel like I can just be myself because there are people out there who are similar. Thank you.
INTJ here. That was all spot on!I always feel different from the rest. Not to mention appearing as someone “difficult” from almost everybody and everything. Being perfectionist is also a blessing and a curse at the same time. I hope I can make friends with fellow INTJs here. My circle isn’t a circle tbh. It’s a DOT. LOL
As an INTJ, I'm crushing on an INTJ girl. She's so really attractive and rare. I just know she is an INTJ so i imediatly understand why she react very difference from girls i ever met. Thank you for explaination.
7:04: Yeah, that are actually a intj thing. Is because we use the dominant function "Ni", that means we absorb the world with intuition, the subjective and abstract way, and that's not something we can explain in the physical world, is like a 6 Sense
Omg 😲 listening to you was like the honest me that I keep inside because it can be so hard to find people that understand these characteristics. I seriously don't mean anything personally ever but I feel like I'm such a difficult person for others to be around. But I literally care so much. I needed this honesty thanks for sharing.
Omg I just feel so liberated when people say they have the same issues as I do. I just can’t do this anymore. Whatever I say or do gets criticized because it is unusual. To the point where I start to question myself and doubt my abilities. I always wear the same clothes, usually always black and I HATE wearing something out of my usual style. It just makes me feel gross and less in control. I also wish of talking to another intj female because I am so over talking to these people that just don’t get me or that talk about some stupid non important stuff. While I am writing that I already feel like someone got offended because usually that is what happens even if i don’t mean to hurt anybody
The "J" in INTJ stands for Judging, not Judgemental. It isn't about the tendency to judge people. It's about our need to plan, employ structure and be decisive. It means we need a well-ordered outer world to truly flourish and keep our stress levels low. This is in contrast to the Perceiver/Prospector who don't value structure as highly and like to go with the flow. A young / underdeveloped INTJ might be judgemental, like many other types, but that's something they should grow out of.
@@Hereticked xxxJ types prefer to follow a repetitive process or concept, xxxP types prefer to adapt to situations. xxxJ still can be unstructured and vice versa. And to clarify, INTJ is not a judging type. Let me explain; INTP, INFP, ENTJ, ESTJ, ESFJ, ENFJ, ISFP, ISTP are judging types. the rest are perceiving types this is because of their functions order. Judging types prefer to analyze the adjectives or attributes of an information first and foremost. INTJ aren’t like that, INTJ prefers to collect and generalize information.Perceiver types collect data first.
INTJ - totally agree with the ability to know who is going to be your friend. I was just talking about this with someone. It is a weird gift. Or a self fulfilling prophecy, as you said. Which is still a gift to be able to enact :)
I'm ENTJ (thought I was INTJ, until I realized I'm not an introvert, I was just depressed and I surrounded myself with very toxic ppl). I've been watching your vids for some time and found many similarities between us. I wish we could meet and discover the differences that this one letter make!
I'm INTJ and you are 100% right in EVERYTHING you said. I remembered when I was about 9 years old and went to a new school. On my first day I analyzed all the girls in my class until I found one that identified me and thought: we will be friends. And just a week later we were best friends. Sometimes I find it very strange and unhealthy, but it is part of being intj.
i don’t know… those personality tests can be a true result of confirmation bias. if intj’s make up so little of this population there’s no way everyone in the comments happens to be an intj… might just be a perfectionist lol
As a male INTJ I've always wanted to play a strategy game against a female INTJ. Like starcraft. Just to see what it's like to play against a female that cares so deeply about winning that they don't talk while playing against me because they are try harding so hard. Not to dis other female personalities but I've yet to play against a female that takes strategy somewhat seriously. But I imagine a INTJ like me could possibly be super fun to play against.
I can relate to a lot of stuff and I also can tell you that it gets less awkward in the future. Maybe it's because all the other types grow as well or simply because we INTJs put in a lot of work into ourselves. Still the part about others not catching your drift still is annoying AF. 😂👍
i’m an INTJ and i found your video very interesting! i can relate so many things you said especially when you told about the feeling of wasting your time. it’s like the worst thing for me ahah! Moreover, i’m french and i’m learning english and your accent is really easy to understand for me so if you do more video about INTJ, i would love to watch them :)
INTJ-A here. The best part of being an INTJ is the fact I could not possibly care if anyone likes me or not. The funny thing is, before I found out I was an INTJ, I tried like hell to be liked and fit in...and was miserable and now, knowing what I know about my personality type, not only am I more comfortable, but allowing me to be myself and not give a shit has led to people gravitating towards me. TL:DR - INTJ good.
@@staerfish We're talking about as a youth when I thought fitting in was the only road. As an INTJ, your statement is thus proven false, as one cannot paint any Myers-Briggs personality types with the same broad brush. As far as your comment on "-A does not exist in the actual concept," who made you the authority on this, or anything? INTJ-A does certainly exist. When you go around telling people who you think they are, you invalidate your argument and come across as a know-it-all who knows nothing. Get lost, kid.
@ I’m being serious lmfao. Do you even know where the concept is originated from? Since when was I the authority? It’s originated from Carl Jung but a company oversimplified and altered it into the test that you see everyone is taking. Jokes on you, I study typology. If you are a true INTJ, you can’t possibly try to fit in EVEN in your youth. IxTJ ‘s blindspot lies at validation, objective morals and social values. Moreover the -A/T is the rotten/ altered version of the concept. The original doesn’t have it. Calling me someone who knows nothing is rich when you haven’t done your research.
Oh my god! Yes! This is all so true. When I started uni, I didn't talk to anyone because I didn't want to rush into any friendships. I took my sweet time to analyse everyone. Their behaviour, humour, tome, talking style, body language. To judge who's gonna be my friend. And if I didn't get a "nice vibe" from someone I put no effort into entertaining them. So much so that this one girl said "oh I'm hearing your voice for the first time" after a whole year in uni
I know that feeling. In the first ten seconds spending time with someone, you instantly can see through them and know, whether they match you or they dont. Theres no in between. For me, people with high sarcastic and humourus skills are interesting. My partner has to be intelligent and i love to discuss new theorys and ways to solve problems. On the other Hand im always lazy except for things i 100% burn for
You are not the only one feeling the energy/vibe of people. I experience(d) the same - also INTJ. But I admit that I had to learn to adapt in corporate environments.... It's not easy especially for INTJs. I also believe that INTJs have huge untapped potential to camouflage/adapt which is rarely mentioned as characteristics of this type. It was the only way I managed to have a successful career: otherwise I would call out BS every day when I see it.
Can relate to all you mention as another INTJ female. The small talk and reality shows are the worst for me! Or is it the fragile male egos I meet while trying to date? Or is it the women I have to work with who celebrate if they think I’ve made a mistake? This behaviour only shows me how truly amazing I really am 😂
It is crazy I can relate to a lot of the things you've mentioned. I find INTJs mostly have a deep and intriguing mind behind their perceived coldness which is a joy to explore. -INFJ
As an ENTP, I just love INTJs and everything abt them. I need a person working 5x harder than a normal person bcz I want to but never get to it. And I want the deep talks and the straight up personnality. :)
Thank you for the video! I am totally understand your perspective as an Intj too:) I am going to say uncommon things- we have some gifts as this types and we need to keep them, but at the same time we should use this information about our type to work on ourselves and try to be better people. This is possible, we can be more friendly, truelly love and helping people, it wont be easy but it can be doable... As an intj we have the power to make big changes in ourlives and behaviour. remember it.
Hi.I’m Japanese female INTJ 🇯🇵 Now I am studying English so it is difficult for me to understand well what you say ...but when I completely understand what you say I think I will agree you❕
This is so true. Recently, I have a talk with my classmate about my future career. She said that I am suitable for her previous position as a project planner because I love to analyze things and judge people. And she said that the other employees always hate the one who does this position. This is so freaking piss me off. Why INTJ needs to be blamed for their skills and deserves that hatred?
We INTJs live in a world of hunches. Explaining our reasoning can be difficult to outsiders. We can see the forest where others can only see each tree.
I’m a female INTJ and I can relate to every single thing you said.. Also on my first day of school I did the SAME thing I observed everyone and I was like "well, I’m sure this girl will be my best friend " and it actually happened! ( we’re still friends until now ) Btw love your channel 💕❤️
I feel the same way. I have had many "awakenings" in my life. No matter how different you are, never be afraid to try and speak with people you love and let them help you out when you are feeling blue. Regardless.. you are special, it's a blessing and a burden. I hope you take it easy at some point ;)
What im wearing now: black t-shirt and black sweatpants. What i wear when going outside: black trousers and black/gray hoodie. What i wear as formal outfit: black sweater or black polo and black suit trousers. yeah, as i think now, i need a black jacket :D
Thank you more than I can possibly say here. I needed this specific validation tonight, INTJ woman to INTJ woman. I hate it when people try to force domesticity and softness on me in social situations. People attempt proximity because they're intrigued [a red flag word for me: translate as "I am misunderstood,"] want a taste, and then don't know what to do with it. I hear you loud and clear.
I want to point out that it is really questionable to put down females for being generally more on the emotional side! It is only more difficult to work with women ((if they are generally seen more excelling at emotion related topics/situations)) if you are not that good in handling social situations which is more common among INTJs! Emotions are important. They play a big role in life. Relationships (to yourself, friends, family, others) really profit from the emotional development of INTJs. This is also from my personal experience as an INTJ. Having a rather analytical mind or intellegence doesn't excuse being not able to care at least on a minimum level about other peoples feelings. INTJs are hyped because our current society values rationality over emotionality. And it is probably arrogant to push a certain "type" higher in value than an other. Only because a large group of people does something, doesn't mean that the stuff they are doing is always right. Other topic: I wonder if being INTJ as a female is really that rare. Being told that a part of you is rare and you are "special" just pushes your self esteem but you are not doing anything for it. It can those who are not "that special type" feel even unworthy. It is also common among the life path numbers in the spiritual community. i wonder if there are people who read this..
Hey I did read this comment! So it's not that emotions are bad. I just find it unnecessary to include emotional side comments in professional situations just to get a point across. Again this is definitely not true to all women or to just women, but from my experience this is a common tendency. Could just be me though... INTJ females are quite quite rare according to meyers briggs. I don't consider myself highly because of a rare personality type. It doesn't really give you any leverage. It's more of an interesting observation as to why we behave so whack sometimes.
omg yes! The thing you said about choosing friends- the very thing i did to find out who my friend should be; when she found out that I had been observing her so much she called me a creep. I took that as a compliment.
As an intj, I would say that If you're an intj and you don't fit on stereotypes of intjs and those all bullshit, then it's all right because there are only 16 mbti types and you don't have to fit 100% into that. For example - I love colors. I don't mind wearing things that aren't in black and don't have monochromatic pallets and it goes with many stereotypes as well as not having emotions, being effortlessly intelligent, being a narcissist, being rude, etc.
@@Avllia MBTI is a rotten concept. The original concept was developed by Carl Jung, NOT stereotyping people, rather, creating concepts of cognitive functions in human psychology. I’ve taken the myers briggs test over decades and have always come up with INTJ. I relate to nothing in this video. I think the presenter is attributing way too much to an assumed personality type just as people find reasons to correlate their lives with the star signs
Love your videos. I'm a female INTJ too so this is exciting. Cool workaholic point, am more into having crazy intense hobbies. Was worried it was dangerous somehow coz no one around me gets it, but now I can see its not out there for an INTJ. Love seeing yours and others perspectives.
I took this test like a month ago and now watching this it makes me feel really scared because the most things that you say actually happen to me a lot
i tested as a INTJ, and Im in a weird limbo. i understand people and try to be helpful and I never go or say with what I like better, but i believe the reason why that is because I find being nice a strategy not a moral. Ive always been told being nice will get you further in the end, so I really did take it to heart, I try not to stand out from others and I always tell people what they want to hear while simultaneously wanting to really express myself its tough man, being a INTJ, I end up just feeling like a stranger to myself with my personality shifting ways.

INTJs (2.5%) can learn self development and learn emotional intelligence and this will help them with others at work though:
-Find INFJs and ENFJs (people high in emotional intelligence) and copy their style.
- for every negative criticism, state two positives
-Listen first.
-Aim to gain rapport first before making your points. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt
: “People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care”
-More empathetic statements like, 'Sorry to hear that' (make sure you mean it)
-Don't speak in paragraphs. Speak in sentences, giving the other person a chance to speak. Keep sentences short, particularly with sensor people, as they may find it difficult to make intuitive leaps
- After speaking, ask 'does that make sense?'
- don't ask the 'why' question. INTJs love this question but apparently the masses find the question too intense? Apparently it would be better to say, 'it seems like you are doing X this way, can you explain your thought process?' Gosh, the excess words really goes against everything about INTJ efficiency. LOL

People respond pretty well to it. My casual conversations might seem to lack content but for the right people they can intuit the deeper meaning hidden in them.

Oh my god. Thank you for this. As a fellow intj girl, this really hit. It’s so bad but sometimes I become so annoyed and out of place with my friends whenever they discuss boy stuff and it just frustrates me. I don’t get it.
It’s a DOT. LOL
I don't like it when ppl use their personality type to brag / justify their shitty behavior/think that its an achievement itself . NO OFFENSE
-INTP
Agreed. Your personality isn’t an achievement, because it’s not exactly something you can control.
I agree
@@nouhailaeddahmani6200 remove no offense. Let them hear the brutal truth of their bullshit 🔥
As an INTJ, I'm crushing on an INTJ girl. She's so really attractive and rare. I just know she is an INTJ so i imediatly understand why she react very difference from girls i ever met. Thank you for explaination.
different = INTJ ?? 😭 Girl could just be a weirder ISFJ
7:04: Yeah, that are actually a intj thing. Is because we use the dominant function "Ni", that means we absorb the world with intuition, the subjective and abstract way, and that's not something we can explain in the physical world, is like a 6 Sense
@@alexmangiagli167 Ni is objectivity.
Omg 😲 listening to you was like the honest me that I keep inside because it can be so hard to find people that understand these characteristics. I seriously don't mean anything personally ever but I feel like I'm such a difficult person for others to be around. But I literally care so much. I needed this honesty thanks for sharing.
Same i'm an INTJ women. Already since i was a kid, i always was different from other children.
Hi!! I'm an INFJ:) Cool and really interesting to hear from you! Thanks for sharing:)
True AF . As an INTJ I value the Team only if I'm calling the shots...if not I'm doing shit Solo . That's been my Motto in life since Highschool.
@@Hereticked
xxxJ types prefer to follow a repetitive process or concept, xxxP types prefer to adapt to situations. xxxJ still can be unstructured and vice versa.
And to clarify, INTJ is not a judging type.
Let me explain;
INTP, INFP, ENTJ, ESTJ, ESFJ, ENFJ, ISFP, ISTP are judging types. the rest are perceiving types
this is because of their functions order.
I'm an INTJ and ENTJs are by far my favorite type
Moreover, i’m french and i’m learning english and your accent is really easy to understand for me so if you do more video about INTJ, i would love to watch them :)
merci Lydie!! si vous avez des suggestions pour videos sur ce sujet j'aimerais les entendre :)
@@LocalBoyPhotography fit in? Fitting in is the opposite of what an IxTJ would do.
and -A does not exist in the actual concept
I am totally understand your perspective as an Intj too:)
I am going to say uncommon things- we have some gifts as this types and we need to keep them, but at the same time we should use this information about our type to work on ourselves and try to be better people. This is possible, we can be more friendly, truelly love and helping people, it wont be easy but it can be doable...
As an intj we have the power to make big changes in ourlives and behaviour. remember it.
Hi.I’m Japanese female INTJ 🇯🇵
Now I am studying English so it is difficult for me to understand well what you say ...but when I completely understand what you say I think I will agree you❕
This is so true. Recently, I have a talk with my classmate about my future career. She said that I am suitable for her previous position as a project planner because I love to analyze things and judge people. And she said that the other employees always hate the one who does this position. This is so freaking piss me off. Why INTJ needs to be blamed for their skills and deserves that hatred?
as an INTJ, we know we have our own world and our own terms.
Dude yes!! Literally you know people in such a deep way for talking with them for 30 seconds and get so much from who people are by scanning the room
We INTJs live in a world of hunches. Explaining our reasoning can be difficult to outsiders. We can see the forest where others can only see each tree.
iam an enfp personality and i like intjs they are so mysterious and i like mysterious things
I’m a female INTJ and I can relate to every single thing you said..
Also on my first day of school I did the SAME thing I observed everyone and I was like "well, I’m sure this girl will be my best friend " and it actually happened! ( we’re still friends until now )
Btw love your channel 💕❤️
Has nothing to do with motivations and interests
Then, we have the Myers Briggs girls, who read Carl Jung’s work. Then they made the 16personalities website, where they oversimplify the concept and stereotype it from their “observations”
I love reading comments from people with my personality type because you guys have my humor
I just found out today that I am one
welcome to the club :)
There is quite a chance that you are mistyped.
cognitive functions or by test?
Hello, I am an INTJ young girl, that is so true when you said, you wanted to have so much work and you just want to have more. I am young and mom said I need to study and not to worry about the future. It's spot on
I just found out that I am an INTJ.
At first I felt relief, but now a lot of uncertainty invades me, because I feel even more alone than I already was.
INTP male here. Yes, like you, once I took the 'test' everything started to click and make sense. I was falling in love until you said country music from Canada was not your thing. What a shame as you're quite cute.
lmao
Ive always been told being nice will get you further in the end, so I really did take it to heart, I try not to stand out from others and I always tell people what they want to hear while simultaneously wanting to really express myself
its tough man, being a INTJ, I end up just feeling like a stranger to myself with my personality shifting ways.
I’m an IATJ, and man, everything you said in the video, just make senses, a lot of sense, but no one understands
