I love how on all your videos you are in the corner, but we can see really well what you are doing! Love watching them!

I learned right angle with one needle, learning with 2 needles was a bit difficult because they was using my left hand, but once I learned, I luv it! Thank you for this video!

I have done both and I like the 2-needle method because I feel like I get a more even tension in the thread path. It's more of a pain juggling 2 needles, but I really think I get a better result.

I have tried both methods and I lean toward two needle as it seem faster to me and not a lot of back tracking or having to constantly go though all the beads to get to where you can continue your pattern. Thank you for this video the information is always a plus.

I learned with one needle but I prefer the two needle method better for the same reasons you mentioned.
At first, it took a while longer because I wasn't as coordinated with my left hand as I was with my right. With practice, I got better at it.
I also want to Thank You for these better beader episodes. I have learned so much from you. 💜

I am a one needle header when possible. I groan when I see a two needle pattern and try to see in my mind how it would go if I used only one needle. The reason I prefer one needle is simply that I keep sticking myself with two! Guess I need more practice. I am a good one needle beaded however. Thanks for this video, I wondered why some videos show two needles while others show one.

I definitely prefer one needle. When I see a tutorial using two, I end up getting frustrated with it because I find one needle to be so much easier, lol!! That being said, when making a wrap bracelet with leather (or faux leather), you need to use two, but that’s the only time I’m okay with it! 😉😁

For odd count peyote I use 2 needles, I start even count with 2 but drop down to 1 to continue past the initial bit. I find it much easier to start that way, obviously 1 needle has a much shorter thread I weave it in later or can easily add more rows the other way.

Jeese, Allie, I don't know what to say--RAW stitch and I don't play well together--using one or two needles! Using RAW to make an item one box wide is pretty easy using 1 or 2 needles. It's trying to make the project wider, say 2 or 3 boxes wide that always tangles me up and I have a hard time figuring out the stitch pattern--but, I'm working on it.

that used to be me too, but then I figured out how to lay the bracelet horizontally and for some reason it was easier for me to "see" where I needed to go with my needles

@@kayscreativeboutique--thanks for your suggestion-I'm going to give it a try-a different angle might help me figure out the stitch path

Seems to me it all depends on what you're used to as to which is easiest. I learned with a single needle, therefore that's what I'm used to, so to me 2 needles is kind of confusing. Also, I don't like the idea of having to manipulate 2 needles, picking up and putting down this one then that one and so forth. I have bad RA in both hands, so 1 needle is plenty for me to manipulate. Plus, doing the single needle method reinforces the piece as you go. Like I said, it's what I'm used to.

Ally, I have been trying to teach myself RAW. I’ve watched so many instructors, yourself included, and I just cannot get the hang of it. Simple squares no problem, but CRAW, or PRAW I'm lost. My question is can CRAW or PRAW be done with 2 needles? If so, and already have tutorials on how to, please send me the links. Thank you. 😊

Hello there, CRAW and PRAW would be very confusing with 2 needles. CRAW is one of those stitches that can be difficult when you are trying to learn it. It is important to not give up, because it will click! You will get it! Here is another video you may find helpful! www.potomacbeads.com/how-to/better-beader/better-beader-episode-083-beading-stitches-raw-craw-praw-explained.html

I love using 2 needles, but find that I waste more thread because I am not great at determining how much I need to start with. Then I end up with 2 needles of extra thread at the end of the project.

I like 2 better. The looping around & changing direction irritates me. In fact while I can do it, either way, i just don't like the stitch. It doesn't 'soothe me. No clue why. Peyote is my love. I usually use one with odd count, just because I'm used to it, but I really do like 2 needles for odd. I have a triangle weave (3 beads instead of 4 with RAW) pattern i really like and I always do 2 needles with it.
