  • Hi everyone, thought I would update you on some of the research I have been doing on some of the finds from previous videos. Get involved in the comments! Roman, Medieval & Celtic coins found whilst metal detecting.

    After further discussion with Tromboneman I need to revise the ID of the coin I thought was
    Caracalla and Tromboneman suggested could be Crispus as discussed in this video. We now believe it to be a Constantine I you can see similar coins here numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.7.tic.173
    The coin in question will be submitted to my local finds liaison officer in the coming weeks so we will eventually have confirmation!

    Ah yes just followed your direction to numismatics it does indeed appear to be a Constantine I, hey we were in the ball park at least!
    This is part of the fun trying to nail down an exact ID and I appreciate you taking the time to help me do that!
