Ollie acrobatics at the end was awesome. Well, the whole vid was awesome!
Very nice teamwork! New to your channel. Cruising myself since 2001. Currently based out of Fort Loudon Marina near Knoxville, TN. Smooth cruising!
Beautiful photography
If you stop in Dover, Tennessee, you can visit the Fort Donelson National Battlefield.
I think we anchored in Dover the night before this, but we didn’t see a simple way to go to shore unfortunately! Will have to come back by!
Sunset against those rocks and trees were gorgeous.
It's Oct 21 2023 right now and we're still at the trailer on the Trent River. We have no water but we have electricity 😄
Shout out to Clarksville!
LET'S GO PEAY!
It might be too late, but we'd love to see more Ollie captions. Plus you guys choose the Best music for your videos. You're so consistent with that task. Thank you for the entertainment.
My new favorite video! I’m curious when was this filmed? The over night and morning temperature sure seems chilly for sure. Ollie keeps steeling the show, lol.
I have SO enjoyed watching all of your Loop videos, and this week I also started way back at your first video. Your editing of videos, music, and drone footage are superb! Your appreciation of even the smallest joys and luxuries of life have inspired me to think differently about my own life. Cheers! 🤗🥂💙
You always find the most scenic, beautiful areas to anchor in. Ollie loves her leaves as much as she loves her rocks!
Great anchor spot…so pretty! Love Ollie’s comments! Can’t wait to see Nashville!
Beautiful drone footage and your anchorage was amazing. ❤❤❤
Being an old guy, your night at Riverview Restaurant reminds me of the 70’s band “Free Dock Night”! (I hope you caught the play on words)! 😅
love your guys attitude so calm and relaxed, and the music choices, is reason your vids are so relaxing

@@CountryCampers Here it is: www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g30131-d471532-Reviews-Riverview_Restaurant_Marina-Ashland_City_Tennessee.html
I knew it looked a little too cold and autumn-like for the weather here lately.
That is that good old TVA electricity. Cheapest in the country.
We would have loved to meet you in Nashville, we watch the channel and are looking to start a loop in 5 years. Unfortunately, we are leaving for a cruise out of Florida today. Enjoy Nashville
I'm loving your side trip on the Cumberland up to Nashville. You need to find a song called 'Oh Cumberland" written by singer-songwriter Matraca Berg, sung by her and Emmylou Harris. The song appeared on the project album Will the Circle Be Unbroken Vol. III by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Like the other editions, it contained songs by many country and rock stats, many of whom have passed on like Johnny and June Carter Cash, Tom Petty and Earle Scruggs. This is a pretty song. Its available here on UA-cam. Such a beautiful time of the year to be traveling the river. I got wonderful news on Friday, I am free and clear of cancer. Thanks Be! Oliie is such a great dog!! Sweet along with being well trained and behaved. She is so cute and funny with the things she goes after. She is so chill and easy going.
Another Nitty Gritty song that we play on the boat frequently is "Lost River" "oh Lost River, now I'm coming back, to the pot belly stove, where the firewood's all stacked..."🎶
So the videos are a yr behind? I am always watching olie. Getting so excited to go walking everything the boat is docked or in the locks. Makes me sad that most places don't allow dogs in. My dogs are always bossing me around .... traveling from ky to Florida atheist twice a yr they are always first to pee. BRATS. .. LOVE THE VIDEOS BTW
Haha I know right… if only they knew how sweet our dogs are 😁 yep! Almost a year behind exactly!
I was wondering where those fenders were when you first pulled into the lock LOL
@@SchoandJo I did hear you say something about that after you had tied on 🎃
On a separate note, it's kind of cool that you hold back a year, and you release videos pretty much a year to the date that you created. I'm from Michigan, so it's been cool to watch all the color changes. I'm in Tallahassee now, and it's *finally* becoming fall like weather at night
What do you use for internet connectivity. You may have already said what you use but I must have missed it. Thx!
Was Ollie really in your seat, Jen? 😉I mean you dont have your name on there. 😊
Awesome native American artifacts and fossils in this area
Are u going to help look for Riley Strain?
Considering this video was in 2022, that won't be possible. Wishing him and his family the best though!
Have you ever had to cut a line in a lock?
Fortunately we haven’t had to! Although we know some boaters who have had to cut lines. In fact in one lock, in the Rivers, the staff had a hatchet and cut lines for the boat 😳
I enjoyed your video as usual. I own a cruiser. I need to find a female companion. Can you go through the looks alone ? 🦜
Most locks you can go solo, but some regions you need a second, so best to research before hand!
I’m a towboat captain. I’ll be up there next week with 3 jumbo barges full of liquids . Beautiful riding up there.
The biggest issue we have with pleasure crafts such as yourself is when meeting if we agree on the 2 then they come by on 1 . Not knowing 1 from 2 . Also that means NOW , not in 10 mins… so call us within a half mile or blind bends to make arrangements. If the wind ,current, etc.starts setting us down and we slowed down or reduced throttle to get you by then we have no choice but to hook em up (full throttle) to keep our tow in good water or from landing on something like a camp, another boat etc. . I’ve even seen Coast Guard boats get 1 and 2 confused lol
I’d love to see the Western Rivers from y’all’s perspective on a boat like that . It’s gotta be so peaceful and quiet.
Y’all be safe !
Thanks for that perspective! You have tough job. The 1 and 2 can be confusing at first but it makes a lot of sense after you get the hang of it
