1 As the deer longs for streams of water,
so I long for you, O God.
2 I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I go and stand before him?
3 Day and night I have only tears for food,
while my enemies continually taunt me, saying,
“Where is this God of yours?”
4 My heart is breaking
as I remember how it used to be:
I walked among the crowds of worshipers,
leading a great procession to the house of God,
singing for joy and giving thanks
amid the sound of a great celebration!
5 Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again-

Now I am deeply discouraged,

Very high level spiritual teaching. I need to hear it again and again and make notes for me to read and start practicing with the help of the Holy Spirit. May God bless you richly Pastor. I'm learning a lot from your teachings.
Please help explain one thing. I agree with everything said except one thing that I don't get: When Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, He was constantly being tempted by the devil, so I don't get why Brother Patta said Jesus wasn't distracted.
I’m lead to believe that since CHRIST JESUS KNOWS THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, HE KNEW THAT THE MESSAGE OF TEACHING OTHER BELIEVERS HOW TO RESIST TEMPTATIONS ARISING FROM THE devil, needed to be taught.❤❤❤😊😊😊❤❤❤
During his fasting and praying time there was no distruction same applies to us when we are praying we should make sure no distruction around us
The devil distruct/tempt Jesus when his prayers were done
