  • These biscuits are made with only 2 ingredients, self rising flour and heavy cream.
1 3/4 cup lily self rising flour
    1 cup heavy cream
roll to 1/2 inch ( you can do thicker if you want)
    cut out biscuits
bake in a preheated oven at 500 degrees for 8-10 min. (longer if you make them thicker)

My mother used to add club soda to her self rising flour to make it rise even more. Worked amazing. Great video, you remind me of mother every episode. Work safe, say hi to JC and Jeffrey!

Your biscuits came out fine! The secret to baking with all purpose flour is the sifting. That's how I grew up many many years ago. Taught my daughter when she was little to make biscuits with club soda and bisquick. It was a treat for her to make and have them with peaches and cream.

The biscuits looked great. Where can I find your Pear Honey recipe? I really love your calm spirit as you do things. Even trying to keep JC safe. You're an awesome piece to the team's puzzle. God is so good. May He keep blessing your home.

My great Granny was born in 1928. She was one of 8 children and was an excellent cook. She made biscuits similarly and would try to get as many biscuits out of the dough as she could. Then she would let me play with the little scraps like play dough🙂

You froze your whipping cream. I had no idea you could do that. Hmm, maybe a great way to keep some on hand instead of having to make those unscheduled trips to the store for when I want whipped cream. I prefer a whipped cream frosting over those very sugary frostings that seem to be on all store bought cakes, I don't care for all that sugar. I love doing whip cream frostings because I control the amount of sugar which is very little, and you can make the frosting any flavor you want for whatever cake or occasion.
Definitely going to try this recipe. I will have to order the flour though....stores here in Idaho don't really carry anything other than the generics it seems.

They look like good biscuits. Keep making videos and keep them true like the ones you have made do far and you will go far in life. You and your husband are the real deal.

JC & Jeff have perfect timing. They just happened along when the biscuits came out of the oven.

I have a recipe somewhere that I tried that turned out great. It used a can of 7-up. I think it was actually called 7-Up Biscuits if I recall correctly. The only recipe I've tried that the biscuits actually rose properly and tasted great.
