  • Isabella Cassina is Social Worker holding a Master of Arts in International Cooperation (IHEID Geneva) and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Expressive Arts Therapy (EGS Switzerland). She is Registered Therapeutic Play Specialist (APT Italy). She is Head of Project Management and Trainer at the International Academy for Play studies and Psychosocial Projects (INA) in Switzerland. She presented internationally on the topics Play Therapy and Crisis Work. She is pursuing doctoral studies in the area of Expressive Arts and recently co-edited the book: "Play Therapy and Expressive Arts in a Complex and Dynamic World: Opportunities and Challenges Inside and Outside the Playroom" published by the renowned Routledge (UK).
    Title: Exploring the relevance of play and expressive arts in crisis work: Sharing field experiences in training and project development
    Description: Work in crisis contexts such as post-disaster conditions, migration, poverty and deprivation is dynamic and complex and requires the practitioner to be prepared on multiple levels. The presenter explains the relevance of play and expressive arts for her as a trainer and project manager working in crisis contexts. Participants are invited to reflect on crucial aspects and express themselves through creative modalities. There will be opportunity for questions and comments.
