My toddler was still sleeping so she won't see me until after 6pm.this evening and was meditating on how as a Christian, I shouldn't be living like this. I have thousands of dollars invested over forty years in training, qualifications, and my own resources. Reminding myself that I am worth my pay means that I keep safe boundaries with those who expect me to work for low or no wages. I would love to sign up to learn from you. It will have to wait though until I can find finance. Bless you. You talk about things I have never heard in church.

And had those people been willing to pay you your due wages you would be in a better place to further invest as well as give more to others. We cut off our own legs by constantly asking for freebies or by offering our services for free and blocking the blessing God design for us to have i.e. the wages due to us for our work. Jesus said it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven he also said don't lay up riches in the earth. Matthew 6:19 Matthew 19:23 you don't hear pastors tell you these things. It's not about being poor or rich it's about God providing what we need.
