These types of simple apps using multiple technologies are a must for Beginners in any IT field. Most classes give extremely intense courses os too many topics and never get around to putting them together with a simple app like this one.

Well, the tutorial is great. As an experienced programmer in ASP pages, I can't understand why in the Razor pages we have to link the controllers in an "old" method. I did it with the previous versions. Now I just connect to the database once and set up the controllers on the pages.

(It doesn't display the existing records from my SQL Server table. Everything else works perfectly up to that point while following the instructions in the video.)

Hey there, keep up the great work in your channel.
I have only a general enquiry as a newbie sql learner.
Could i channel shopify live data into an sql application?(This should be an application developed for a company of 50 employees mainly for the sake of generating reports and analytics))
Is this an easy process to undertake as a sql beginner? What should i keep in mind
and what are the tools or softwares that i should work with right from the beginning.
For notice, I made my mind to work with microsoft sql server, also our company has a dedicated server.
Thanks for taking care of my enquiry.

    • @DeepThoughts_
      @DeepThoughts_ Рік тому +3

Yes, it is possible to channel Shopify live data into an SQL application. This can be done by integrating the Shopify API with your SQL application, which will allow you to extract data from Shopify and store it in your SQL database.
As a SQL beginner, this may not be an easy process. However, there are many resources available to help you learn and implement this integration. You can start by reading Shopify's API documentation and learning the basics of SQL.
When integrating Shopify with SQL, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
Data security: Ensure that the data being transferred between Shopify and your SQL database is secure and encrypted.
Data accuracy: Ensure that the data being transferred is accurate and reliable. This can be done by setting up regular data validation and verification processes.
Data privacy: Ensure that you are compliant with data privacy regulations when collecting and storing customer data.
In terms of tools and software, you can use Microsoft SQL Server to store and manage your data. You can also use tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create reports and visualizations based on the data.
Overall, integrating Shopify with SQL can be a complex process, but with the right resources and tools, it is possible to generate valuable reports and analytics for your company

It's a good video but in a corporate or IT company this is not they follow. They don't use mdf for their whole application. So is it possible where you can make a video where connection is defined in appsetting.json file and then inject in statup.cs file.
