    You need to lever on the nail by placing it at a 45 degree angle first touching down just above the Cuticle and then pressing down like a lever from base to tip. This spreads the glue along the false nail and natural nail to ensure no air bubbles. Air bubbles causes the nails to pop off within days. Without air bubbles and applied correctly they will stay on for two weeks +. Tissue or cotton is not advised near the nails when applying glue.

    UPDATE! 3 days after putting on the TEMU nails my first rhinestone popped off and on day 4 one nail cracked lengthwise (normally if I break a nail it breaks the width of my nail) so that was weird.
    Another UPDATE! Day 5 another nail broke & day 6 I had 2 more nails break. I have never had so many nails break in less than a week. BUT I WILL KEEP TESTING ALL THE OTHER NAILS I GOT! I will post a new video later with more nail reviews and silliness ❤

      They look cute but That’s a bummer! They looked very sturdy! I always put on 2 coats of clear UV gel polish on all my Temu nails even before I glue them on! They usually don’t crack or split that way on me. Great video! Looking forward to the next one! 🎉

    • @carolina._.00
      @carolina._.00 3 місяці тому +3

      @@keinohrtini i was going to say the same. When the fake nail is too flimsy or cheap abd when they have rhinestones I apply a few coats of clear nail polish on them and I also apply a little glue to the back of the nail. Works perfectly and the nails last way longer!

    Hey luv, couple things; fill that dehydrator bottle up with half and half alcohol & acetone, boom, new dehydrator. Don’t ever use a smaller tip, why, putting product underneath is then making it even smaller and will then be too tight. Use the bigger one and shape it a little with a file, boom, perfectly fitting tip. The tiny lamp you have was not intended for complete curing. It will only hold something in place while you do the next nail. Then ALWAYS full minute in a large lamp possibly for the whole hand at once, boom, perfect set of nails 😂🎉yay! You’re welcome, great job ❤️🇦🇺

    To make your nails last for weeks, prep your natural nails by pushing back your cuticles & gently remove the shine from the natural nail. Then & this is a must, take a file or an e-file and etch the underside of the nail tip. Hope this helps 😊

  • @henriettejuljrgensen6438
    @henriettejuljrgensen6438 2 місяці тому +2

    Just popping in again to say; if you use Dehydrator, it says it all, it takes all moisture away from your nails and if I were you I would do it one hand at a time and NOT touch it after, that can also result in your nails popping of because how ever much you dry your hands, there will always be oils on your nails and that oil will destroy the dehydrator. I like to do a gel base coat on my nails so I know they are 100% sealed then I glue on top of that. It also makes it so typically the gel breaks away if my nails get popped off and it doesn't damage my real nails as bad. I then coat all my fake nails with a top coat to help keep the printed color on there and it gives them a nice clean edge.

    Thank you for making this video. I used to wear press on nails, but quit because it was too difficult with crafting. But, you have gotten me interested in them again! I just got some nails in from Temu, followed your link to Amazon and ordered the nail glue, ordered some other nail supplies from Temu and will do my nail this weekend hopefully! I sincerely appreciate your showing us how you put your nails on and take them off. I actually learned several things I did not know! I LOVE the long nails because of all the decorations on them, but I can only wear medium length - due to crafting. Both lengths look good on you! Thank you again and keep up the great videos!

    You did such a good job 😊. I don't wear nails and I have very small nail beds and figured none would fit me! But I've always been curious as to how people who have such beautiful nails do it!!! Thanks 😊 I had a friend who was going to cosmetology school and needed someone to practice putting on false nails and so I volunteered...she struggled so much on me and after like an hour and gave up! She said my nail beds were so short that there wasn't enough surface for nails to stick to them 😮😮 , that was when I was in my 40's, so I took her word for it for me 😢

    Ok I am not a pro at nails either, I watch so many ladies and men and wow they are amazing. I use an efile on the part of the fake nail and then I use the dehydrator on the fake nail also. I heard about that and I have tired it and love it..........I am slow and it takes me longer but they stay on so much better. You do it so fast. I am too old to be fast 🤣🤣🤣

    Hi Heather.. i have an idea that would help. Could you take a nail out of each brand of pack and let us know if it is bendy(yes that is a work)😂. And that way we or I could know the brand that is stronger. Just an idea.

    • @heatherotis6512
      @heatherotis6512  2 місяці тому

      Thats actually a GREAT idea! It wouldn't work on all of the nails because some packs of nails have a couple of nails in the pack that are thicker and stronger than the other ones. (like some have a glitter nail) I will have to try that soon. I just put a fresh pair on yesterday. But, I did wear TEMU nails exclusively for over a month, trying different brands. (putting a new set on weekly) I am editing a brief update on how that went today. ❤️

    Hey Heather, new viewer here - loving your channel :) Quick question - the top coat you used. Is that Sally Hansen's Step 2 top coat in their miracle gel line? If so, that isn't a gel that requires a UV light - it's just a regular air-dry top coat. That may be why your Temu light didn't dry it. But even so, to avoid allergies, I'd stick with your bigger lamp. Trust me - I am now allergic to gels :( Gel polish can feel like its cured, but only be like half cured. 36watt minimum *ideally, 48watts* to ensure curing of your gel polish.

    Just saying; if your nails pop of it could be because you pick a smaller seize. Always, always pick a bigger seize, you can always use your file and make it so that it fits. And the "pikker one" you use to remove your old nails is actually ment for your cuticle a.i. the skin on your nail, thats why its not sharp. Gretings from a danish DIY nailtech

    They have to invent some type of gadget that helps you press the nail instead of using your own fingers! I hate when my finger gets stuck to the glue! 😁 Some type of gadget that won't get stuck to the glue! You know what I mean? Or has one been invented? 🤔

    • @heatherotis6512

      Doesn’t that only work if the nail is transparent? Maybe I am wrong 🤔

    • @keinohrtini

      You’re right! Only on transparent nails! The UV light can not penetrate through opaque nails and the uv gel never hardens completely which can cause allergies

    May I suggest NO oil prior to cuticles being trimmed, can soften too much and cause excess cutting ouch!!.. also puts too much oil onto nail plate creating lifting😊 Tips..here we go… 💅 push back cuticles gently, trim carefully, gently etch nails with an 180/220 low grit file, wash hands to remove dust and debris, apply a non acid primer, select nail size, file to fit ie side wall if needed etch underside of the tip you are applying, aids correct fit to prevent lifting, lasting longer, use Gel Glue as this last longer..tip, less is more😊 applying to etched underside of tip, hold tip down firmly, any excess at sides remove after flash curing..flash cure using mini uv light 10seconds, apply all tips then place in full uv light for 90-180 seconds, mini lights are not strong enough, full hand UV lights properly cure the gel/glue to help your beautiful creations longer😊 create any designs required.. oil all fingers liberally❤ From a Pro Nail Tech 23yrs your welcome 🙏 🤗

    Have you ever tried etching the inside of the fake nail a bit with a nail file or nail drill? It really extends the wear time. Last time I did this they stayed on for 3 weeks! … of course I have approx 200 packs of nails so it doesn’t even make sense to wear 1 set for 3 weeks! 🤣🤣 … but I could! 😅

    I don't believe in not cutting your cuticle. How are you going to push the cuticle back and leave it there when you apply the nails? That looks horrible! The problem is when you cut the cuticle way too deep. That's when you run the risk of getting an infection. But if you just cut the lifted cuticle, you'll be perfectly fine!
