Praise God these sermons are preserved and now so readily available. Lord draw hungry souls to David's teaching to be strengthened and empowered by your Spirit. David though dead yet speaketh. I look forward to Thanking David in person at the marriage supper of the lamb but I'll have to stand in line with the millions who will want to do the same. His taped teaching on receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit was decisive for me to receive the Spirit and the gift of tongues. His clear plain scriptural presentation removed all doubts for me. David Pawson of blessed memory. See you in heaven brother.😢
Amen glory to God these have been preserved and available and accessible to us....only pastor David Pawson has preached about prayer this way (and this part on praying against Satan/the devil) . He has helped me understand finally what the bible and our Lord Jesus Christnteaches/tells us about prayer. ❤❤❤
That is a good question - we don't have dates for some of Davids earliest 'audio' recordings. I believe this to have been recorded at Millmead and most likely between 1969 and 1975.
Thank you. I thought the sermon in the Holy Spirit series where David refers to the recent moon landings was amazing. Really appreciate you posting his sermons.
John 14:30 States that Satan is the Prince of this World Job1:6 says Satan came to present himself before the Lord - so Satan still has access to Heaven Im not familiar with any verses that call Satan the Prince of the air
Powerful teacher and I learn a lot from him. However, I cringe every time he mentions negroes and slaves, as he inadvertently reveals his inner condescension and the popular but often tacit White stereotypical opinion that black people in general, are simplistic and inferior, yet sometimes wiser in their simplicity than superior White folk. I realise he is a product of his time, and most teachers and preachers of his time, like Derek Prince, also did the same. But Billy Graham never did, in all the UA-cam recordings that I have listened to in the past decade, anyway.
You are correct - we all cringe when we hear these terms today and I also agree Billy Graham was someone very special ............who, I suggest, like Derek Prince, Lance Lambert and David Pawson, never sought fame nor fortune, and lived quite modest and humble lives, and through a fear of the Lord, remained faithful til the end of their days .......They were all sacrificial in their desire to see souls saved However we are left with a challenge, take down these teachings and destroy them? .......in which case we deny ourselves the opportunity to learn from anyone of that generation ? ........or acknowledge that we are privileged to now live in a more balanced and accepting society where the wrongs of the past are being acknowledged and corrected ? It's easy to criticise and claim David is inadvertently revealing his stereotypical opinion - but this is something I do not agree with you. Do you know anything about David and his family?. that his daughter in law is of mixed race? - and was so dearly loved and appreciated by David and his wife. David loved the opportunity to speak in black churches. Because he felt they were "simplistic and inferior" or because he lived their openness and "superior" freedom in worship? Language and inner opinion can be linked - and we must be mindful of that but language evolves and what may be consider today as derogatory was not necessarily so 50 years ago ..... Today it's offensive to use the 'n' word and I acknowledge that but I grew up in a very poor deprived 100% white community, yet I loved and respected 'N' spirituals - it was never considered to be derogatory calling them 'n' spirituals - it was very much a term of endorsement and association with deprivation and hardship, which I personally experienced growing up, such spiritual songs where an inspiration and blessing to me Times they are changing but lets be very cautious not to dismiss and lose some of the treasures of the past - whilst correcting things that were wrong and unjustifiable Let us separate the "use of language" from genuine "views and innermost feelings". Today my kids call things "wicked" and "cool".......... especially calling things wicked - I find offensive - but for my kids it means something very different to what it means to me are they wrong to say these things ?......................or do I need to be understanding ?

Going to the moon though 😢
Does anyone know what happened to the other 9 videos in the series? It says they are unavailable and hidden
They will be uploaded - one per week for next 9 weeks but do not fret - you can binge them on Davids website davidpawson.co.uk
Can you advise which year this series was recorded? It’s great to hear David talk about the context
