This is really good!! Even a low level player like me will understand the thought process and what kind of action/reaction to make. Its even more motivating as well. Love this series!
Honestly super cool to follow a fellow dane - i had my suspicions because of the name, but had it confirmed after looking you up. I dont play, but i watch players (and Drongo) here on youtube.
Perfect timing releasing the video as I've just switched to Mongol for the current season (Gold II currently). My biggest issue is that I can't keep up the pressure - towards castle age I lose momentum and the opponent has the opportunity to breathe and build up an army that eventually destroys me. Do you have any tips on how to improve on that?
I suggest not staying in feudal for too long. Going castle is where you get a lot of power as mongols! Also, if you do good harass with your cavalry, you can keep your opponents units in his base, like I explained at min: 11:15
hi valdemar, great video. 1 question: im conq 1 but i really struggle against raiding. especially when your opponent raids on 2-3 points simultaniously. on 10:20 you say its better to go for pastures instead of going out on the map for the hunt or berries.... What do you think of putting 8-12 villagers to the boar and deer and let 6 spearman or so patroling on the food source? is it bad cause he could drag them away with 1 knight and kill vills with 2 others?? i found that its better to put some spears there than to make towers..
Just got destroyed by Zhu Xi Legacy, playing as OOTD in the FFA...tried to rush him early, kill some villagers but he just built towers, then boomed. Hope I will do it better with this guide.
I stopped because I needed my resources to make enough units to grab relics. This is one of those games where trade will have a minimal positive effect.

Hello
What is the tier list of civs on your opinion?
good job👍
Good stuff!
Ty
really good video, i learnt a lot.
quick question: why did you stop trding ?
I stopped because I needed my resources to make enough units to grab relics. This is one of those games where trade will have a minimal positive effect.
@@Valdemar1902 Ok, thats a good point. also I feel on the new maps it is harder to defend trade if you lose total map control.
around 5:45 couldn't you have killed those villagers near the trees? Was there a reason for you to stop?
There was a tower on the gold right there
Don’t you have to be a pro before you can talk about what pros think?
I mean he’s a top 100 player on PC I’d say he has some worth while stuff to teach.
I am currently top 32 on ATR and placed top 24 in the CTA tournament, and recently top 16 in the CoW tournament. Hope that clarifies it :)
@@Valdemar1902 exactly, what a douche.
In America that’s what we call someone who sucks!
You should escape hex token while you have the time!!!
