Personnaly, the dark bloo inn is one of my favourites levels in the game ! The timer isn't annoying like in my first and second playthrough I didn't even notice it lol, while 100%ing the place ofc, but I can understand your point of view. As usual, nice footaged video !
I feel like the Dark Bloo Inn isn’t that hard to beat the timer in. I didn’t game over in my first play through, and my second play through I feel I took longer and didn’t game over. Also the toads in Tangerino Grill give quite clear and helpful advice.
I definitely have to replay Color Splash since I haven’t in a while and when I do I’ll probably make a video ranking every single level from worst to best, it’s the least this game deserves lol
I honestly hated my first playthrough of color splash, but the second time I played it was much better. In my opinion color splash Is the rare exception of a game where knowing everything that's gonna happen makes it better.
You're supposed to talk to the toads for hints on how to properly cook the steak, and one of the guys sells you every thing card you need, but they're all generic toads so I don't know how they honestly expected anyone to bother talking with them.
The thing i hated the most in the tangerino grill was the pizza because the game forces you to do an excellent with the hammer and the jump. And the most annoying for me is when you have to wait for a specific time for the pizza to be done I remember using a stopwatch for this thing. If i remember correctly if the pizza is not cooked enough you need to restart all over again.
Yep that can be annoying just like me with the Dark Bloo Inn with the timer, for me with this, I didn’t run into a problem but if I did I would hate this level even more
Great video yeah the golden colosseum is annoying but I like iggy’s fight music tho and I cannot wait to see more keep it up. Iggy has my fave battle theme in colour splash tbh. Also welcome back I am happy to see this keep up the great work
I personally didn't find the steak fight that annoying, but I can see why you hate it, if I were to think of a bad level in color splash, it would be the level where you fix the train, the Colosseum or Kiwano Temple
That’s fair, but tbh I liked the train one and thought Kiwano temple was solid but basic, even tho it is annoying that you have to go through it twice with no changes to get 2 different paint stars, that’s kinda annoying

I agree that the level where you have to fight a literal steak as a boss is one of the worst levels since it’s so weird and random for a Paper Mario game!
Meanwhile in TTYD: fighting a paper crown with fog as a final boss In TOK: Fighting colored pencils.i mean both make more sense for a paper game but like why y'all surprised
i actually love the weird and randomness, its just the gameplay that ruins it for me if it wasnt extremely specific and required 3 things id have loved it
Honorable mention: Mus-TURD café this is a stupidly tedious level of platforming on pipes, a jail that takes five years, and a… café that gives you a paint star………. all that for almost nothing. Mossrock Theater. Very lazy level… the music is… really weird… and what I mean by lazy is… there are 3 areas and they are duplicated with more level and more enemies… classic mario maker Oh, and the one room that’s not a carbon copy, is a room where the developers slapped two mini paint stars right next to each other……. definitely not lazy at all
I disagree with Mossrock Theater just because the music for me is super creepy, one of the times I was genuinely creeped out in this game but Musturd Cafe I agree with, it’s not annoying to me but it’s just boring
My personal opinions on this list is that I only dislike the Golden Collesium, due to how slow it is. Dark Bloo Inn kind of has a similar energy to Chapter 4 of TTYD, where it would be great, if not for the major flaw in each, with the Time Limit in CS, and the backtracking in TTYD, but I still like both. Also for Dark Bloo Inn, the ending reminds me of FNAF 3's Happiest Day Minigame. Not important, but I thought I would mention that anyway. Finally, Tangerino Grill is fun for me, and the Steak fight is just too glorious for me to hate, even with the obnoxious hammers.
Imagine only having 5 total frames to pull out a pizza on a 10 second timer and if you miss the five frame window, the restaurant hates you and you have to retry, imagine hitting an invisible staircase that leads to a colorless spot on the top of a tangerino grill Imagine not using a guide to beat the steak fight I HATE THAT STUPID STEAK Imagine having max coins (Larry: give me all your money)
Nice video as always Shroob, this video made me realize there are a lot better levels in this game than first expected. Game still stinks though, really need to fix that battle system. And nice 3k subs
I didn't mind Golden Coliseum, but I think putting all 3 Thing Cards in the same room would help. I also didn't mind Dark Bloo Inn, but I used a guide. I also hate timers in video games, and unlike Majora's Mask, you lose all of your progress when you run out of time. But Steak sucks.

I did not like the first cooking segment because of the VERY small window of time you have to cook the pizza right. 4. I actually like the decision to have a timer in Dark Bloo Inn, it gives it a mysterious ghostly vibe and I was not bothered by it at all. In fact, it made me feel like Sherlock Holmes when I figured it all out.

For example: *Jump panel* Jump×2 Hopslipper×17 *Hammer panel* Hammer×23 Hurlhammer×5 Blazehammer×6 *Partners panel* (enemy cards) Shy guy×4 Morton Koopa×15 *Things panel* Cork Bone Bowser's Castle Also,transform the Hammer Pieces into proper EXP points,not just drops Bosses: make the use of Thing cards optional aside from fights where is needed,like Ludwig. In Sticker Star,you can avoid using the things if you have enough attacks to completely destroy the boss. But here, if you manage to "defeat" the boss before it does its special attack,the game will keep it alive(happened to me during the Wendy fight). Remove this feature: it would make the bosses easier,but at the same time less frustrating if you don't have the thing, ex. Why do I need to use the Cork during the Larry fight if I can just counter or dodge the Smoke attack? Let’s be honest: The dark bloo inn is literally the enigmansion but not as good. I still like it though. *Wait… IT HAS A TIMER???* That steak is the thing that stopped my progress of color splash actually, it’s *WAYYY* too hard. Especially the action commands being so hard to pull off.

The steak is the sole reason that I hate Larry. Step 1: Excellent Big Hammer, Big Hammer…. Press immediately to get a nothing Step 2: Salt and Pepper, Grill, Lemon Step 3: Put a fork in it Seems simple… it’s not. I SHOULD HAVE USED A GUIDE! I wasted a grand total of 25777 coins on trying to beat this, I’m a sucker for every paper mario game but there’s always one thing wrong with each game… for this game… IT DA STOOBID STEAK
My 3 least favorites 3. Kiwano Temple: an excellently designed level ruined by the Big Spiny being my least favorite boss in the game, the slow pacing, and having to play the level twice 2. Redpepper Volcano: It’s really plain, just kind of a gimmick level, and you have to go to Fort Cobalt first to even attempt this level. (Not that I mind; Fort Cobalt is my favorite level in the game, but it’s still taxing to go all the way there and back.) 1. Mossrock Theater: How are you supposed to know that enemies are incredibly fast moving? Also you have to beat the level 3 times to truly beat it
I get these levels being bad, I agree with the points for all of these and I’m only gonna defend one which is Mossrock theater, that place is one of the times I was genuinely creeped out by a Mario level
@@ShroobInvader BTW I never encountered a timer of sorts during my Dark Bloo Inn play through. Never even knew it existed and it’s also kinda blindsiding, since random fog and then you fall to the ground dead.

instead of using video editor preloaded on your pc you should use filmora or what i use now powerdirector. also keep up the good work. i know school is hard and all but try your best

I went to check it out, and it exists, however it doesn’t actually make you game over. Instead it just tosses you out of the level

During their journey some Partners will join them,like for example Bowser in seek of revenge or a Paper Daisy who fell in love with Luigi and it's the Princess of Prism Island)and there will be sections with Luigi's kart,both on foot and in the air with the Glider and the Antigravity Wheels

My 3 least favorites
3. Kiwano Temple: an excellently designed level ruined by the Big Spiny being my least favorite boss in the game, the slow pacing, and having to play the level twice
2. Redpepper Volcano: It’s really plain, just kind of a gimmick level, and you have to go to Fort Cobalt first to even attempt this level. (Not that I mind; Fort Cobalt is my favorite level in the game, but it’s still taxing to go all the way there and back.)
1. Mossrock Theater: How are you supposed to know that enemies are incredibly fast moving? Also you have to beat the level 3 times to truly beat it
I get these levels being bad, I agree with the points for all of these and I’m only gonna defend one which is Mossrock theater, that place is one of the times I was genuinely creeped out by a Mario level
@@ShroobInvader BTW I never encountered a timer of sorts during my Dark Bloo Inn play through. Never even knew it existed and it’s also kinda blindsiding, since random fog and then you fall to the ground dead.

@@Driggsdamonstah The timer is really bad. It's like the timer in Majora's Mask, except you can't reset it and you lose all your progress.
@@An_Account1 Dark Bloo Inn always struck me as one of the more memorable levels in the game but not really for all the right reasons. That timer is one of them.

Dark bloo Inn,I may be judging unfairly here because I like ghosts,but for the time thing.I was 7 at the time of Playing,and while it took me many more tries I never had to look up a guide,also the « under pressure » thing I stupid.YOU’RE FIGHTING SOMETHING YOU CAN’T KILL IF THEY WANTED THEY COULD KILL YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN,also the timer extends the more you die…..

I agree with the golden collosseum but I don’t think it’s as bad as you said.I was 7 when playing this game again and I still found my way and also found the ice pick and the bottle opener with the bone.however the navigation is still bad.
