I would consider myself an intermediate programmer and I would recommend your videos to anyone, especially beginners. I'm using the videos as a resource for refreshing my memory on Visual Basic. Been a few years since I've messed with it. Good work with these videos!
Dear Online Gamer i appreciate your hard work and thanks for your generosity, if you give us some assignment or homework at the end of four or five tutorial that will increase our knowledge and helps us with more practice of visual Basic thanks allot you are a lovely teacher i like your style of teaching
(once you get really good) couldnt u make a database, with a "registry" so that you can "index" password, and username, and even something like a PIN if they forget their info to send to the e-mail they "registered" with? so if someone tries to log on, it wont let them without that info, and for an admin acc. Wouldnt that be a separate if/elseif to deal with that special user, or couldnt you make another database for "Special users" IE, all users with "admin" permissions? Just curious
I agree but if he were to go at a speed at which you would feel comfortable at, other people with less/no programming knowledge would fall behind or not understand. Just do what P3dotme does :)
@directiz you could maybe create a variable which stores the name and does Ucase on it so it's all Uppercase, then in the if statement you ask it to search for the password in caps... once you have to write it down you just either show the first variable with what he entered or you change the new variable so it capitalizes the first letter... hope I helped a little.
This is so clear now! The VB book we use in school is confusing when it explains Else If and Else statements! Thanks Sam!
