Same sensor & quad bay filter on both drones. Evo 2 8k has 1.8 aperture, Mavic Air 2 has 2.8 aperture. So Evo 2 should perform better in low light. Different colour/contrast settings in auto mode from each manufacturer. It's very subjective and user preference. Mavic Air 2 has auto panoramic, 360 functions, the Evo 2 does not have these features. But in terms of aircraft capabilities, the Evo 2 is alot better than the Mavic Air 2, eg: 360° obstacle avoidance, no geofencing, ~25% more flight time, interchangeable camera payload, so camera can be upgraded to 1" sensor, can fly without mobile/tablet, etc.
