funny i was thinking pretty much the same thing because that back end is horrendous. you know you would still get a nice angle using 2x3 or even 2x4 inverted slopes. it would use less pieces and you wouldnt have that unsightly gap. i dont understand why people overthink their builds and make them more complicated than they need to be. in this case, trying to make the back end more complicated didnt help.
