I found this out on my second playthrough when I looked away from the game for a split second and I missed the button timing and this scene activated
I thought that this would lead to a secret ending that I've never seen.
I’m so sad they shut down the whole TWDG game series, i know it’s unlikely but I hope the story gets passed on to another company and they continue this Legendary series.

Kinda wish this was an actual possible secret ending ... like if you die here it goes on with Clem leaving to find AJ... but the ending is pretty much Javi's funeral and Gabe stepping up as leader of Richmond and finally being a man

It is obvious that with the budget they had, they can't keep track of every decision players made so many ideas wil sink or will be partially implemented
Would have been cool if you took over playing as Gabe at that point, either putting down Javier, or just leaving him to turn, and then find a way to get to Richmond, New Telltale, if you an idea how I think how to make this game really good, play Heavy Rain, it's a bit over the top, but a good idea, you have a few chances to fail totally, the main characters will die, if you do then the story ends early maybe the side characters continue on (hard choice there)

Lol, I purposely died every time I could while replaying all the TWD games, just to see how many hidden animations and voice lines there were. I can 100% say that this death has the most effort of any death. Like others have said, it would’ve made for a good ending.

Just beat season 3 again, I got in my opinion the best ending, Javi, Gabe, and David are alive.
I had no clue there was an ending where David lives and was happy to get it.(David is a good character and season 3 is not bad, just episode 1 is)
I found this first time I played this and I was 7 and now I’m 8

That’s definitely a alternate timeline where Javi actually died and although all the endings are alternatives I think there’s definitely a lot more endings that exist in the TWD Telltale Multiverse

Ignoring all the “all that for a you died” this is insane dedication only if they made every season like that with multiple diffrent ways scenes could go and to remove the overpowered plot armor some of the TWDG pro tags have which makes people pick dumb choices because they know the main character won’t die unless telltale wants them to, I really appreciate telltale for making that scene and I wanted to see more of that with there walking dead series.
Imagine if this could have been an actual thing like Gabe being the character you control since Javi is dead which would have a completely different ending

I hate how the most dramatic and satisfying ending to the story where Javi saves Gabe and gets to talk to David one last time, is one of the worst endings because Kate ends up dying, with the only best possible ending being where you have Javi go with Kate and Clem save Gabe, or Javi and Clem save Gabe and David if you really don’t like Kate compared to David.
