I really appreciate this thorough, informative review without obnoxious background music. The Mark XX is high on my list yet I am torn between the green or classic black dial. Congrats on your new watch and I look forward to more videos & updates!
Because of its size, the Mark XX is very versatile - looking great on a wide variety of wrist sizes. And I also couldn't agree more about the bracelet. It's one of the best in the business! I bought this Mark XX (green dial) 1/2 year ago; and I still love it! It's also a great companion to my IWC Pilot Chrono 41 (blue dial).
Question about the green watch face, do you have a hard time pairing it with outfits? I mainly wear dark blue T shirts when in a casual setting and that part makes me nervous
You did a great job on this video and the IWC mark xx looks quite fitting on you. I own this exact variation and agree, it's my favorite best bracelet in the business. I use the travel box quite a bit
Gorgeous masterpiece of a watch! Yeah the link adjustment system on these, although still IWC awesome, are a lot fiddlier than other versions. I had an 18 LPP with it. Other versions of the bracelet still had the IWC awesome link adjustment system, but with each link being one piece and a big thick rod going through the whole link. That's the way it is on my Mark 16 and Ingenieur 357002 and I think the new Ingy's the same (you can tell because there's just one pusher in the centre of the link(s).
Has it? I got a Tudor and CW and still has t scratched that Rolex itch. I just don’t trust the grey market since there’s so many fakes out there. I like the understated look of these watches though. How is the quality compared to Tudor for example ?
@@rodrigosaccosilva7109 both are fantastic choices. I think the Aqua Terra on rubber strap is more versatile, so I'd go for that as a first luxury watch.
I prefer the Mark XX. It feels more substantial and has a better bracelet. I feel like it just works much better as a do anything watch compared to the black bay.
Very thorough review. Thanks for all the details. For the sake of your viewers, please improve your lighting. We have no idea what shade of green your watch is. If you can’t improve your lighting, perhaps step outside so we can get a better look. Kind regards . . .
I'm working on a review of the watch at the moment. In my reviews I do make sure to take the watches outside in different lighting situations. Stay tuned for it, it's coming out very soon.
Dial colour does look great and the bracelet is pretty good. I still think this line is hugely overpriced for what you're getting. On strap (which really have gone down on quality on the XX vs the XVIII), these should be selling at 3 and half grand.
3.5k? Are you kidding? Go check out the price of a Rolex Datejust or an omega Aqua Terra. This IWC is equal to (and Id argue probably better) build quality to these two. I always find it odd when people say these are overpriced.
@@whereRbearsTeeth Im old enought to have a mature taste, thank you. My point still stands, I buy a Laco or Stowa and save tonst of money before I purchase this. Edit: I wasnt suggesting that people who like and/or bought it are wrong. This has nothing to do with an mautre taste, just different tastes.

The green is so good! I'm eyeing the white
The white in person is gorgeous
I think this is the best all-round watch across the entire price range of watches. Easily one of the strongest candidates for a one-watch collection!

I am going to try this watch ! It just ticks all the boxes and if it fits (on my wrist) as you suggest - it will be game over.
That's a better bracelet than any Rolex. Grand Seikos are shocking.
This is JLC and up level
Beautiful 😍 that green dial is mesmerizing.
It really is! IWC did a great job with this dial
Nice review of the Mark XX. Managed to try it out at the AD last week, the green is beautiful.
The dial really does come to life in person
Wooow that green caught my eye as soon as I opened up UA-cam 😂
Great video 👍
Yeah it caught my eye when I saw it in person
awesome review, very detail!
The best review I have seen so far
Much appreciated
Great review - thanks for sharing!
The Mark line is my favourite watch collection from IWC
Big fan of the Mark family. I also like the Big Pilot, however, I don't think my wrist can accomodate them.

Looks awesome on your wrist 🤩
Love it, love it, love it………This could be my one and done watch - The green is fantastic, but I think I’d still be more swayed by the blue.

I’ve been wanting the blue, but now I need the green too.
Both are fantastic!
This watch made me stop buying rolex lol , amazing absolutely nice watch

Hi. Do you recommend a mark xx white dial or an aquaterra black dial in rubber strap for a first luxury watch?

Dream watch
Wow the mark xx was just on my mind ! How much did you pay for it if you don’t mind me asking?
Nice review!!👍👍
Nice that it comes with a small box you con actually use. Just bougth an omega the box is huge and useless 😂.
Hi. Do you recommend the iwc mark xx or Tudor black bay burgundy?

IWC is on a whole other level than Tudor. Not even comparable.
I didnt even know about that compartment!!!!
Neat little touch from IWC
You’ll get a fright if you ever have to try to sell it,same with Grand Seiko.
Classy and versatile. Thanks

@@whereRbearsTeeth you have the worst opinions ever. Just tryna troll or what?
You put so much time into this and you didn’t show lume
Серьезный бред---серьезные часы.
Really nice watch, but its so bland and boring. Especially for that price. I just get a Laco or Stowa for 1/4-1/5 of that.
You might like Invicta better
That’s what makes it so beautiful. Your taste hasn’t matured yet. You’ll understand eventually.

Это просто фантастические часы, поздравляю с покупкой! Жаль мне такие не по карману)
