In this video we examine ALPAR, one of the new generation technologies of the Turkish defence industry. ALPAR occupies a remarkable place in the heavy class of unmanned ground vehicles. With a weight of 12 tonnes and a capacity of 3 tonnes, ALPAR is a very powerful platform and we will discuss the advantages of being unmanned and its potential use in the field.
We will see how impressive ALPAR can be with its 70km top speed and hybrid/electric drive options. The ability to be a pioneer, especially in high-risk areas, is an important feature that distinguishes ALPAR from other land vehicles.
