i remember the extra clips in the abfab season dvds of dawn n jen. absolutely LOVE! watching jen any abfab last shout, or interviews idc IS my happy place ❤ i was 11 first saw it im now 40😅 forever the best funnies!!!!
After watching this sketch I can't NOT look at the name "Aberdeen" without thinking "ABER BLOODY DEEN!!!" Every time I watch this it reminds me of conversations I've had with my own mother.
So annoyed, I started really enjoying and getting into F&S stuff only a few months after they had been touring Australia. I hadn't really realized they worked together until that time, I had seen Vicar of Dibley and Ab Fab separately though. Can't believe I didn't know.
Yeah, I think it’s different when you can do it multiple takes rather than doing it in front everyone. It’s such a long sketch that it’s almost scary to lose track of where they’re up to.
@@APEABOUTSIMS I think it's because most comedians lose steam with age. It's the same in "Absolutely fabulous" - the earlier seasons are much funnier than what came later. The film is almost embarassing.
@@kbhprinsesse Nah. Jennifer actually said she didn’t want to bring it back for a full series because the BBC kept censoring everything she wanted to do. The BBC wanted the show back for a full series after the 20th Anniversary specials but Jennifer declined. And the movie was great. It wasn’t as good as the show but it was never going to be. TV shows don’t translate well on movies which is why Jennifer only did it because there was demand for it. Even though the movie did well she didn’t want to do a sequel.
@@APEABOUTSIMS I don't agree. When you watch the 5 seasons and compare them, you can see how Saunders' acting becomes less and less energetic with each series, both her physical comedy and the way she delivers her lines. That has got nothing to do with censure imposed by the BBC.
@@kbhprinsesse I slightly disagree. I obviously agree that the first seasons were much better than the later seasons. The first three seasons were absolutely brilliant. However I think they redeemed themselves with the film. You just had to view it in a slightly different light. I have seen it many times and still enjoy it. The best ever episode was 'France'. It is absolutely perfect from start to finish.
