I have one video on the RL3 already, but I am going to do this one as well, and do a better job of getting good close ups. ua-cam.com/video/nUs7C0jSTuI/v-deo.html
@@OutFishing13Matthew I watched the older video just today. Isn't that strange? Getting the itch to get out. We got up to 40°F today. Still probably 24" of ice on the lakes. Thanks for the great video.
Hey Matthew, I enjoy your videos. I have a zebco 33 legacy. I need the back cover and thumb button. Where could I possibly find those parts...having trouble finding..maybe not looking in right place. I don't know.
Love your reel service videos. I'm a zebco collector and have models from 1952 through the 1980s Brunswick stuff. I rebuild them just as you do. Looking for pick up pin springs for Brunswick Era 33s. My source has passed on and it appears all of his parts stock was sold off by his family. Do you have a good online source you could point me to? Thank you in advance. I've super tuned 3 newer 808s using your method. Awesome! Keep up the good work
Hi. Try the FaceBook group, Zebco Shop and Swap. There are a few guys on there who have a nice stock of older reels and sale parts. facebook.com/groups/387880111984612
Hey Matthew I talk to you before about the red rhino You just purchased that someone like I have with a rubber boot over the button that's I have had the most problem with pushing the button and it stripping out when you cast it. See if that one is like that when you cast it .👍
Please do the 888 soon. I just purchases an 1984 Prostaff 888 and I want to Supertune it. Also I know they have 3 bearing system, are you going to make it a 4 bearing system?
Hi Mathew. Do you entertain requests for parts? I have a passed down 1987 series/Brunswick Zebco 33 that I just cleaned up. It is missing the beige front rubber seal/guard. When line gets slack, it sometimes gets tangled under the cover as a result. I didn't see a way to contact you directly.
I think what you are referring to is the line brake on the spinner cone assembly. Most guys will find an o-ring they can glue to the spinner cone and replace that rubber brake.
Wow awesome!! Can’t wait to see!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching! So far 3 of them are done.
i got ahold of a old martin spincats reel with a all steal colt spincast reel you got to love these old reels
Nice. I have never seen one of those in person.
Can’t wait for you to get into those reels.
Just finished filming the Zebco Omega 33 service video. I should have it out in a week or so.
Wow, I can only imagine what your parts bin is like! Cool video!
Thanks. I try to fix all my reels. I dont have many parts reels.
Awesome collection! I'm a huge fan of the old Zebco reels!
Same here! I am going to start working on the Omega 33 today. Made in 1978.
Good to see these reels. I'm waiting to see the RL3.

Is that like the 33 gold in this video? Let me know. I might just part this one out.
Hey Matthew, thanks for the reply on the zebco legacy. I think it is pretty comparable to the 33 gold.
Thanks!
@@nealsummerlin9594 send me an email to outfishingthirteen@gmail.com with a photo of your reel.
Love the red spring loaded fly reel. My grandpa had one just like it.
I am not sure if it is a Martin or not. It just has Japan on the foot.

The older USA made 888 did not have bearings. I will get a video made for you soon on the 888. Mine in a 1990 model.
Hi can you reply with what size bearings a authentic 33 takes ? Thanks , love your channel 👍👍
It takes a 1/4x1/2x3/16 inch bearing. It is the same exact size as the bushings. Look for a SR188-ZZ on ebay or Amazon.
I was looking at that package to
really? hmmm Thanks for watching and commenting Ed.
O-Boy Matthew, now you have my undivided attchen, ED THANKS
:) 1st one comes out tomorrow. Zebco Omega 33
