Just bought a 2005 yesterday. I rode it home 2 hours through an absolute downpour...1.5 hours were in the dark and rain. 39 degrees F....I was FROZEN!!! But the bike tracked well, handled the wet well....
Bought one this year and it is the best bike i own and that includes my Harley. Its amazingly engineered. I'm 6 foot 7 and my wife is only 5 foot 3 when she rides the bike as the driver she is comfortable and when i ride it i'm comfortable. never seen a bike that would accommodate people of such different heights. Plus i switched to a car tire in the rear. handles great and doesn't eat tires anymore.
+MrGrandure I love the car tire. never going back. when I corner there is still more rubber on the road. I'm running a 205 my wife runs a 195 on her 900 Vulcan. I have gone 180 miles between fill ups and wasn't empty. great bike. wish they still made it. thinking about buying one to put in moth balls for latter.
+Comanche Don bushcraft I am thinking of buying one like this. Trying to choose between Honda VTX 1800 and this bike. The only thing I am concerned is handling, since it is hardtail. Any issues in that department? Thanks!
@@CheckYourPremises VTX1800 is great. Handles well and is also powerfull. Dont have experience with the Kawasaki. But you cannot go wrong with the honda.
Still recovering from my tumble down the highway at 75mph off of my fully dressed Midnight Star, but looking into these...want an even bigger girl for my next bike (ha, ha). Thanks for the video and information!
same bike,,,with my add ons and mods,,,nothing compares,,,upgrades that make this the best sounding bike,,as well as throttle response,,,shoot me up and i will let u in on my stuff,,
I don't find this bike is hard on tires if you avoid wheel spin. I'm on my 2nd 2004 model now. The current one has about 50000 miles, and parks next to an SV1000S.
I'm short like that guy but love that big bike. I don't like the floor board thing and the shifter. Oh and that Big UGLY headlight has definitely got to go. And brig foot controls back and up by 3" to give more lean angle for the twisties.
I had LT version People don't realize just how much power this thing has..........they had to put governor on gears 1-3 to hold it down Kawasaki dumped this bike in favor of the 1700's.....then I did too It wasn't long I was wishing I had it back
Hey to Brian needing fairing... Try TSUKAYO.... Japanese yes, but good quality for the cost... National Cycle offers adapter kit. Item no. JK-KIT, that mounts over stock forks... Only kit I could find that fit my 2009 LT. Good luck
get rid of the pillow under your ass you could touch the ground better.when i got the 900 i didn't know they had a 2000.i would have went for that one .looks like a 74 shovelhead.
I am a proud owner of this Beast, uhhhh, so much fun to ride this monster. So elegant, agile, and intimidating....Love it to the bone.
I like it. How is the fit and finish? Any aftermarket support?
Bring this bike back 2024 on 😎🇵🇭🇺🇲

That Color Is Amazing --------- What A Beautyful Bike ---------- Great Review And Video .

How often are you having to replace rear tires?

Hell of a beautifull monster. Have one like this with same color around and can't keep my eyes of it when it passes
I absolutely love my 2006 VN2000 that I ride in Japan. I wish it were a bit lighter though for slow maneuvering.
Love this bike!! The color is great!
I WANT ONE SO F**KING BAD!!! I started out with sports and now I have a Vstar 650, but I want a stronger v-twin

Just bought one HEAVY I'm 5ft 8 you'd better have strong arm's low speed turning holding a bull by the horn's suprisingly QUIET.
Completely agree on that.
Just got one a couple days ago

I have an VN 2000 2008, I love it . Mine eats tires a little
Which bike do you like more and why? Those are 2 bikes I've always wanted.

The commentary starts by describing the engine as "Liquid cooled, fuel injected, 52 degree, V Twin". Is it liquid cooled ?
Oh yes, can't miss the huge radiator.
When David Fox said his 5' 7 just like me I now know that this bike is it's OK for me

I have the chance to get one of these but worried about the seat height. I'm only 5'4".
Can you ride comfortably at 5'4?
I got a custom 1600 I don't like belt at all
Lil old me. Thought he said he drove a Valkyrie.
Too bad it's not made any more.
Can't find front fairing for mine 2000E
Brian Benford
This is where my brother bought his fairing for his 2010.

Meh. I have a 1600 Vulcan and it's powerful enough to get me killed .
Learn to ride. 😎
Yep
foolish big !
the headlight is ugly as hell!
дон Большой like you
It’s a piece of crap mate it’s like an anchor
Like u?
It is too heavy of a bike not very useful. I had both v2000 and v1600. In my view v1600 is much better.
