I can totally relate to the house Reno situation, we have had to leave our house for 6 months whilst we make it bigger but as a family we are struggling in a tiny flat. My kids hate it. Pray 6 months fly by

Is it strange in the UK for bridesmaids to pay for their own dresses? I think that’s pretty standard in the US. I’ve heard of people declining being in the bridal party because they couldn’t afford the dress or bachelorette party. My hubby and I eloped cause it all seemed overwhelming!
Get a airfryer and a slow cooker you can do most stuff in both of them. Bolognese can be done in a slow curry as well as curries, stews, joints of meat. A microwave can be used to heat up food from the shops that's much cheaper than buying from restaurants.

Love your podcast ladies! I would say about the bridesmaids dresses, the bride did ask if they could get their dress instead of a wedding present, which makes a difference. I am sure the girls would spend a similar amount on the dress as they would on a wedding present? If the dress is more maybe they could just offer what they would have given in cash for a present, to help towards the whole cost of the wedding. Things go over budget and the bride may be struggling to afford everything. She obviously still wants you all to be a part of it she's just thinking of ways around it maybe?

Girls you have to try to stop and smell the roses 🌹 I’ve had 3 kids I’m 50 now youngest is 13. I don’t want anymore kids but when you are in menopause you know you can’t and it’s such a weird sad feeling!! 😢 im even enjoying the youngest having moods cos the other 2 are grown now and I know it will be over so very soon xxxx
